"Argggghhhhhh! Uggghhhhh! Yeowwww! Arggghhh! Ohhhh!" Time to time, Joy's yowl, full of intense pain, came out of the room. Kosax, Zoroth, and Jim were the only ones who knew about the current scenario inside. Bor came daily in the meanwhile to supply the woods and some meat.
It began as Bor joined the trio to heal Joy. At first, they were reluctant to let him help. They did not know whether they can trust this tree. Later on, through his knowledge of herbs and healing, Bor gained their trust. But he was not permitted to enter Joy's cabin without any of the trios to join him.
The workers all worked hard, as the food and water crisis was over.
Zoroth worked really hard to upgrade his rune techniques, and help Bor in healing.
Kosax helped with the construction inside the room as well as lead the other construction projects outside.
Jim started with some unusual activities. When he was asked, he replied that once Lord woke up, he would describe. It was his knowledge about the world outside, mainly the Mist of Forgotten Lands, that led others to believe in his words. And he had a mysterious birdie. This birdie was wounded somehow and rescued by Jim in the process. That's all the information others knew about it. And according to Jim, this birdie helped him to understand the language Bor spoke. So, without the birdie, they were unable to start curing the Lord. Which gained more of their respect and gratitude.
A few days went on, as the inhabitants were all busy doing their own designated work.
One day the grunts from inside the room discontinued, as the news of their Lord's recovery painted an arc on their lips. They all worked more vigorously that day. They wanted to complete their unfinished projects before the Lord woke up.
The next day around the second half, they got the news that their Lord finally woke up. It's been 8 days. They all hugged each other as they all shed tears of joy. Yes, after so much struggle and hard work, they had beaten death and rescued Joy.
"Oye! Where am I? How many hours have I been asleep? Where is Sree? I wish to see her. Are you a new recruit? Can you call her?" As Joy opened his eyes, he was still in a trance. He was yet to recover his consciousness.
"My Lord. What are you saying? We are here to serve you. But we don't know anyone called Sree", Kosax said it blatantly.
"Oi, you muscle head. Wait for the Lord to recover his senses first. You should go and receive Bor, as it is already time." Jim responded coldly, as he saw Kosax replying to Lord without thinking.
Kosax cursed and grunted, as he left the room. He just wanted to help the Lord to regain his composure. He came out of the room, waited for a few seconds near the door, and then rushed to inform everyone else.
Joy again closed his eyes and tried to manage his way through the headache. There were many messages and notifications from the system. There were multiple new pieces of information, and some of them were huge. He started to recollect all that happened before he passed out. From the days with Pegasys to the new world Milma, and then Zoroth, Kosax, Bor, and all the workers, and the other pieces of information were sorted shortly.
"Oi, guys! Sorry for the gibberish earlier. I have troubled you all a lot. How many days have passed?" This time he slowly opened his eyes, and it was full of gratitude. "I am hungry, I have to go out for some food. And I need to contact Bor. He must be worried as I have not met him a few days." Joy wanted to rise quickly only to find he had few vines containing him.
Jim and Zoroth, both quickly approached and helped him to sit comfortably.
"My Lord, we request you to sit a bit comfortably until Bor comes in. He has set up the vines for various purposes, and we are unable to handle those. He will be here at any moment now. Since then, please relax. We have found sources of food and water. We have sent Kosax to arrange your food and drinks already. We have much to report once you are refreshed", Zoroth replied with confidence and respect.

"Oh my! Did Bor come in to find me? How did you guys understand his language?" Joy was too confused. The days lost now meant a lot of issues would happen. The raiders were getting powerful to conquer the land. Other Dungeons acquired more resources and conquered more lands within this time. Now, he was slacking behind, and his retainers were asking him to relax.
He must start preparing now, as there was a mutated being out there somewhere nearby. It was lurking in the shadows to pounce at the correct time. As time was passing, most probably, its strength had increased by leaps and bounds. By killing more opponents in this Dungeon era, any living being could gain a lot of SPs, and increase its strength.
A crease was shown on his forehead as he continued to wait for Bor. He was becoming more impatient as time passed quickly.
"Oi, Mr. Jeet. So, you know how to wake up. What's up with the timing? You have slept for days, and let these poor souls suffer every day. Wait, let me clear the vines first. Then only we can talk properly."
As Bor entered the room, Kosax also entered the room quickly. He was grinning. Despite all the efforts done by Jim and Zoroth, he did not miss a significant discussion.
Bor helped Joy to get up after removing all the vines. All of them came out of the door, and suddenly Joy felt immense pressure again. They all stopped in their tracks.
"What the hell is going on again?" Joy cursed loudly.
"Don't worry, my Lord. This is the first time you experienced time dilation in a short space. We have been through the same when we experienced it for the first time." Kosax replied before anyone could start. Kosax was the most frequent visitor. So he had accustomed the change in time speed.
"My Lord, to accelerate your recovery, brother Zoroth came up with time accelerating rune. He has successfully developed the basic temporal rune concept." Jim boasted as Zoroth shyly nodded.
Bor began to laugh heartily. The whole Dungeon had changed a lot. And this Zoroth guy was one of the masterminds behind all these. But, when it came to his own achievements, this guy could not even muster enough courage to declare that.
As they continued to talk, they exited the Inn. The Inn was precisely built on the structure described by Joy. Joy mentally took notes of the things required to be built in there. They asked Joy to brace himself, as they were yet to experience another time speed shift. Joy rounded his eyes, only to find the idea of accelerating the rest time impressive.
Joy had yet to digest the previous idea when the scenery greeted him left him awestruck.
"Where the heck am I? Has anyone seen my Dungeon? I wish to go back to sleep if its truly the Dungeon I had before. Because without me, you guys can lead better."
Initially, he had a 100 sq meter of land. What his eyes met now, was beyond measure. It should be several kilometers in radius, but the shape was a bit off. He looked at his retainers' faces, all of them were showing pride in their eyes. What could be better than earning praise from the Lord?
They all entered another building, which was the Kitchen cum dining space as per his instruction. One guy rushed inside the kitchen part and brought a meal for the Lord.
As he was experiencing the meal, he could not contain his desire for the reports. This time none of them denied. They started to report from the time joy was knocked.
'Hey System, are the treants and my Dungeon dwellers, understand each other?'
'Okay. So, I will start with that.'
He asked others to come one by one. He put his hands in their forehead and started to think about the knowledge transfer. He finished transferring to all the 10 workers, including Kosax, Zoroth, and Jim. What was more surprising, Jim took the least time to absorb the knowledge.
'Now about Bor, how to transfer him?'
Bor started first, "As per our agreement, we started to scout the nearby regions. We found a few leaders and discussed terms and conditions with them. My boys told me that you were not picking up the logs. Then we found a fight scene at the edge of our territory. What I actually feared came true. You met the Devil of the forest. You fought it bravely and escaped. This news brought hope to the surrounding leaders and the others. They wanted to meet you once you are free."
Joy felt guilty but kept quiet. He never fought with it, he was knocked before he could do anything. He wished to declare that but feared that might ruin the newfound relationship. So, he took the liberty to take the path of half-truth.
He only smiled and kept eating and listening to the stories.
