A small sized village with 150 people lays in west of small hill. The village is surround by a crudely made mud walls, which looks fragile that it can fall off from an adult punch. There were no watch towers instead there were small eye sized holes throughout the mud wall. The remain of previous night bonfire were still untouched in middle of the village. Far toward all sides of the village were what looked like huge walls. Instead of an open sky, there was a stone ceiling with crystals stuck in between that gave off light to resemble day and night. The interesting part was also that the intensity of light produced were different through the day, giving off the vibe of chilly morning and hot afternoon.
The break of Dawn has already passed, and it is time between early morning and afternoon. People were gathered near bonfire seeming to get ready for something. Some people were sharping their rock weapon using other rock while other were using their rock to sharp up a few branches as a throwing weapon. The surrounding was dead silent with everyone deeply focused on what they are doing. Although this group doesn’t have warrior weapon, their sprit of warrior is clear to see. After satisfied with their final work the hunters sat in silence, choosing not to disturb those around them. After the last person was done there was a sudden chattering with loud voices, as though they finally broke free of their unseen restrain.
“Hey Rodolf, don’t think of hunting more than us this time.”
With a mocking face Rodolf replied: “Didn’t you say that last hunt too, Ewald.”
“Hump you will see a different result this time.” Saying so Ewald walked opposite of Rodolf, gathering his group for a final check-up.
These two were the two of three leaders of the village hunting group. They were both in constant competition with each other, with each one having similar amount of win-loss. There were three hunting teams from the Wood-Walker village. While two of the team went out for the hunt another team stayed in the village to protect from the beast. They rotated the hunting schedule with the teams, so if one team was in protecting duties in on of the hunt, then next hunt they will go hunting while the other teams stays behind to protect the village. Due to this Team-Rodolf and Team-Ewald are fierce to the other team with competitive sprit surrounding them.
There were around 20 people in each group, and as they slowly made their way toward the entrance glaring at the member of opposite team created a tense atmosphere. As soon as they reached the entrance the teams split off going toward their hunting zone. Following closely behind Team-Rodolf was a youth with a serious face on him. He took cover as he progressed toward the team to avoid being spotted. After couple minute the youth suddenly stopped frowning toward the direction the team went off to.

At my current speed I cannot follow them closely while trying to hide. Tobin thought while sighing, but its strange that their jogging speed is on par with earth most elite soldier sprint. Tobin couldn’t figure out why there existed such difference. The body structure, although they had more muscle and border doesn’t mean they are able to casually jog at the speed of elite soldier sprint. Tobin had long noticed that when hunting teams went off, they took off in high speed. At that time, he merely thought they were showing off their skills to opposite team to increase moral of the team. As time went by he noticed several abnormalities like how casual they looked instead of trying their best. He then started following the team to confirm his suspicious, and he noticed how they were able to maintain their pace for several minutes, in fact they raised their pace as time went on. This whole time Tobin hasn’t been able to closely follow the group.
Although it is true that Tobin has to zig-zag his way through to avoid getting caught, he was still a master assassin at Earth. This was a second nature to him of avoiding getting cut, so he could spend the minimal effort into hiding and produce exceptional result. Also adding to his current body strength which has now reach the level of fit-adult man through his continuous effect of training and mystical pond water. This clearly pointed out that human here greatly surpassed the earth-human in terms of strength.
What is so different of these humans here than the earth human for so much difference. Tobin starts jogging toward the village. It seems I need some experiment subject for some research. Thinking so Tobin thought of the orphans who had barely anyone caring for them. This is a small village, so everyone knowns each other. If orphans start going missing, then it will put the villagers in alarm. Thinking so, he heavily sighs mentally I guess I will have to put that idea in halt unless I can guarantee my success.
Looking upwards his gaze lays upon the ceiling. No matter what I still cannot get used to this sight. It was mystifying yet discomfiting at the same time. Ever since Tobin realized the truth of the sky, he made constant feeling of being cadge in. They say that third time is the charm, let hope that holds true to this world. Putting the issue which he cannot do anything, yet he raises his speed hurrying toward the Village. After all time is money, in this case food.
Tobin has finally reached the entrance of the village and walks toward the orphanage building.
It is almost noon time, I guess I will go accept couple task to seem normal. Thinking so he put on his smile he shows toward the public and went to Orphanage manager to exchange for food slips. In fact, with his skills he won’t have to do any work, he can just steal little food from the orphanage warehouse and other villagers house but blending in with the society is also a key part of success for an assassin.
