.....my head hurt. I opened my eyes. I was in a cave made of ice. Surprisingly, I wasn't cold. I tried standing up. But my legs failed to do so. I looked at my legs. They're...tiny. like the legs of a new born baby. I looked around. The cave was round, and in the middle of the cave was a mountain. No, it wasn't a mountain but a dragon. I remembered everything. Me being a slave, the carriage got attacked by a dragon, the contract I made with the dragon and me dying.

Because I was lost in my thoughts, I didn't notice that the dragon was waking up. "Hey little girl, you awake?"

I finally noticed the dragon. "Yes I am awake. What happened after I died?"

"Not much. I resurrected you and then fell asleep."

"How many days have passed since I died?" I asked.

"I don't know. Around a week or so?"

"Okay." I said.

The dragon began talking: "I resurrected you, so...."

" So?"

"That makes me your dad." The dragon grinned.

I sighed. "Alright 'dad', what's your name?"

"You're so not cute, you know? My name is Xyrus. What's your name?"

"I don't have a name." I answered.

"Why not?"

"Hmmm.....I don't know, maybe because I was a slave?"

"Oh." Said Xyrus. "Then as your dad, I will give you a name! Lets see.... your name will be....Kayda."

"Kayda?"

Xyrus nodded. "Do you like it?"

"Kayda huh....I like it."

"Okay then." Said Xyrus. "Let's go hunting, I'm starving."

"What do you eat on this cold plain?" I asked.

"These 'cold plain' is called the Crystal Valley. And we eat here tarios." Answered Xyrus.

"What is a tarios?"

"You'll see soon enough." With those words, Xyrus went outside. When he was outside he exclaimed:"Are you coming, or not!?"

I tried to stand up, but I forgot that my legs didn't had the power to do so. I exclaimed:"I can't walk yet!"

"Oh you're so annoying." Xyrus went back inside, and put me in his beak. When he was done, he flew away.

We flew for a couple of minutes until we saw a beast. The beast looked like a bear. But he had the tail and the ears of a cat, and his paws were made from ice.

"That's a tarios." Said Xyrus.

"H-hey Xyrus...."

"What?"

"I a-am c-cold."

"For God's sake." Xyrus stopped with flying, and wrote some strange things in the air really fast. When he was done, he said something strange and it was warmer.

"Are you warm now?" Asked Xyrus.

" Yes I am. Thank you Xyrus."

"Back to the tarios. The thing you will eat most of the time will be tarios."

"Why?"

"Cause they're delicious and weak."

"That makes sense." I said.

Xyrus began writing some strange things in the air. But this time he didn't say something. I looked at the tarios. The whole tarios was frozen. I was amazed.

"How the hell did you do that!?"

The dragon grinned. "And that Kayda, is ice magic." The dragon landed. When he was on the ground, he picked up the frozen tarios. While he was doing that I looked around. Suddenly, I saw a wolf. It looked like a wolf. The only thing that was different were the horns and the size. The wolf was snow white and was twice the size of a normal wolf. The wolf had two beautiful red Horns, and deep blue eyes like a ocean. The wolf was beautiful. I tried going to it. I fell from the dragon. Fortunately I fell in the snow. Cause I couldn't walk yet, I crawled. I slowly went to the wolf. When I was in front of the wolf, the wolf began speaking:"Hello little one, what are you doing here?"

I was surprised, but recovered fast. Currently I'm hunting with my eh.....dad."

"I assume Xyrus is your dad?" Asked the wolf.

"You know Xyrus?"

"Yes, we are...very good friends." The wolf grinned. I grinned back. "If you guys are very good friends I assume you know a lot about him right?"

"Are you asking for his secrets?"

"Just some blackmail material if I need it."

The wolf smirked. "I think we're going to be very good friends."

"I think so too. By the way, what's your name?"

"My name is Zev. And yours?"

"Kayda. My name is Kayda."

"Alright Kayda, I need you to say: I wish to walk together with thee.

"I wish to walk together with thee." I said.

"I wish to walk together with thee." Said Zev. When Sec had said those words, we both got a mark on out shoulder. It looked like a snowflake. "What is this?" I asked.

"That is the mark of our contract." Zev explained. "It's proof we made a contract. It's proof we are friends. Now that we have this contract we know were the other is, and we can use each other senses.

"Use each other senses?"

"Yes. You can now hear, smell and see better. And, when were both at another place, you can use my senses to see through my eyes. Then you know what I'm currently seeing.

"That's nice to have. Thanks Zev!" I said.

" Hey Kayda, you're still sitting in the snow, want to ride on me?"

"Can I?!" I shouted. Zev lowered his head so that I could grab his horns. When I had grabbed his horns, I pished myself up. Now I was on his back. I turned around and grabbed his horns, like I was riding a horse.

"Lets go back to Xyrus, Zev." I said.

"Aye aye, sir." And Zev started running. After thirty seconds or so, we were back. When we were back I shouted:"Hey Xyrus! We're back!"

"We?" Xyrus turned around. His eye fell on Zev. He asked:"Hey Kayda, why did you bring this stupid dog with you?"

"How rude!" Said Zev. "I'm not a stupid dog. I'm a proud jit'irk!"

"What is a jit'irk?" I asked.

"jit'irks are one of the strongest species after the dragons." Zev explained. "We Jit'irks use the power of the lightning God. Of course only a part of it. Like 1% of it. We Jit'irks like to play pranks on people. Of course we have done pranks on dragons too. The only people we back down for, are gods."

"Why didn't the dragons kill all the jit'irks Then?" I asked.

"Cause we dragons don't want to destroy continents. If dragons and the jit'irks start a war because of some prank, we will anger the gods.

"Why will the gods be angry then?"

"Nobody likes it if some people destroy your toys."

"Back to the topic." Said Xyrus. "Dump that stupid dog, so that we can go back and eat."

"No can do." I said. "I made a contract with him."

"You did what!?" Shouted Xyrus. ".......fine, he can come with us. BUT, if he even pulls ONE prank he's DEAD." GOT THAT!!!!!"

"Yes sir!" Said I and Zev.

"Let's get going, I caught some more tarios when you were gone. After we have eat you're going to sleep. Even though you may be older, you still have the body of a baby."

"Yes Xyrus." I and Zev climbed on Xyrus back, and he flew back to the cave.
