"Is she dead?" Nemu poked Maria's body with a stick.

"No, she fainted" Ami replied, quickly taking the stick away from Nemu.

"What happened? All she did was eat the fruit. It can't be the reason she fainted, can it?" Nemu exclaimed.

"No, it shouldn't be. The food we eat is compatible with all living things. Maybe it's her own special body condition that I sensed when I first met her," Ami explained, inspecting Maria's body.

"What 'special body condition' are you referring to?" Lena asked.

"I don't know." Ami paused, thinking about something "It's just... well, it's the first time I see a body that is destroying and repairing itself from inside, yet, the owner doesn't have the slightest idea." Ami explained.

"For real?" Lena widened her eyes in astonishment.

"Well, it's unbelievable, yes, but it's real." Ami scratch her head when she saw her companion's doubtful glance "It's also why I give her the fruit. I thought it would help. After all, the healing property of this fruit is unmatched."

"I don't know what is weirder: the fact that you make a mistake or that someone actually faints from eating the ERA fruit." Lena shook her head "Anyway, lay her on the bed, I can do a deep scan on her condition. Nemu, can you go and inform the Queen about our situation? I am sure she will be interested in this little anomaly."

"Ok." Nemu shortly replied then disappeared instantly after she received the command.

As Nemu left, Ami raised her hand and conjured a soft, glowing light that enveloped Maria's body. It gently lifted her into the air and transported her to the nearest empty room. Then with a clap, Ami summoned many tree branches that sprout out of the tree's body and fused together, creating a bed. With another clap, the magic suddenly glows from the tree branch, transforming them into cotton-like material with a wooden texture. The room that was empty before instantly transformed into a makeshift bedroom. With the preparation complete, Ami gently put Maria down on the soft bed.

"Alright, done. Now she is all your Lena." Ami stood aside.

“Beautiful work as always Ami. Now, let’s see if I can reveal what is so strange about her body.” Lena rubbed her hand together and it started to glow.

“And help her while you at it?” Ami reminded Lena.

“Right.” Lena quickly answered before touching Maria's body.

With her eyes closed, Lena places her delicate hand gently upon the forehead of Maria. The soft glow within her hand gradually enveloped Maria's entire body. After several hours of silence, the light suddenly shook before it dissipated. Lena yanks back her hands, her body is trembling with fear. Ami took big a leaf the size of her body from a nearby tree's branch and washes over the sweat on Lena's exhausted face.

“What happened?” Ami asked.

“E-e-verything in her body is f-fine.” Lena took the leaf and tried to calm down her trembling hand.

Feeling that she can’t compose herself to talk properly, Lena sat down on the side table, have a drink, and close her eyes for a few minutes. Ami brings her a few ERA fruits to recover which Lena graciously accepts. After a few more minutes, Lena is ready to continue where she left off.

“Everything in her body is fine. I couldn't find the "destroying" part that you talk about earlier until my consciousness suddenly get attacked by something." As she talk about it, Lena trembled again "It’s so sudden. I couldn't detect it until it hit. It seems that her body is guarded by something very powerful." Lena looked at Maria's body laying still on the bed "I tried to retaliate, but the moment my magic touched it, some kind of defense mechanism activated and trap me inside. It also drained my power like I am some kind of sweet nectar. If it wasn’t for the fact that another source of energy suddenly appeared and took the attention of that "Thing". I am not sure if I will be able to escape.”

Hearing Lena's story, doubt began to creep into Ami's heart. Ever since she was born, she was gifted with an incredible ability that never fails in life. No matter how absurd her claim is, it all works out well in her favor in the end. Maybe this is one of those times, yet she feels that this time, it is more than that.

"Let's stop here and wait for Nemu. She should be back by now. Here, have a drink." Ami helps Lena drink a glass of water.

Just then, the door opened and disrupted her action. Nemu and another beautiful winged woman stood at the door. The woman wore a tiara and a maid dress, which seemed incongruous with the authority she exuded. The sight was so shocking that Lena spits out her drink, inadvertently dousing Ami's body.
