Prolog

Some say the end of the world will be preceded by a warning. Others say it will start and be over with before we even know what happened. As in all things Truth is stranger than fiction. The world as we know it is not static, It changes from moment to moment..The only thing that stays the same in our universe is the concept of change.

Somewhere, Someplace

Glod was tired, It was way past his rest period but here he was once again stuck waiting for his master to finish his latest insane creation. Its not as if Glod was unhappy with his life. It was the fact that his masters creations always seemed to end up causing Glod more trouble then they were worth. At least in his opinion. His master always treated Glod quite well all things considered.

As Glod finished his thought his master lets out a long sigh and states... "I have failed once again..." Turning to Glod his master hands him a sphere pulsing with power and states. "Throw this into a Powerless Plane Glod.. Its worthless as it is but still dangerous. Best to put it someplace it will never be found" Glod nodded his stumpy head and said "yes master" then took the sphere over to the trash chute marked Powerless and dumped it in.

A unfathomable amount of Time and Distance later....................

A glowing sphere rockets through the atmosphere of a small blue planet the light of its high energy transit turned night into day for a brief time. The only witnesses to its decent are various critters that habit the blue planet none of whom understood what they had seen, let alone cared. The Sphere impacted the ocean as things tend to do on planets with more water than land with a great deal of energy, Releasing a small tidal wave that did minimal damage to a small island miles away. Its energy expending upon punching through the water it slowed down until it finally embedding itself into the oceans muddy floor. Time passes once again
