"WINNER!" The announcer said. She held Katie's hand in the air as she announced the winner for the fight.
The crowd cheered and everyone went crazy not believing that she had won the fight that easily. It was a first blood match so of course that straight punch of hers would have done the job easily. But Katie still couldn't believe that she had done it so easily.
As she realized her victory, Katie smiled and winked at the crowd for a victory pose.
"Rising Katie Punch is not so stupid now!" She declared to both Nate and Darwin, who was slightly regaining his consciousness.
Even if he was out cold, the mana orb offered protection so that no one would accidentally die during a match or whatever they were doing. Instead of being passed out for hours, the punch had gotten him out for a few minutes before he was able to wake up again. But there was no use to it as the match was "first blood" first and foremost, he had completely lost.

"Actually it is a stupid name...," Darwin said with tears dropping down his cheeks, "Umm... can you maybe slow it down a bit with anyone else?"
"Nope," she rolled her tongue.

"I can't believe I won this!"
"Don't get too full of yourself," Nate said.
After returning back to her normal state, Katie received a prize for winning the match. It was Darwin's orb. This was not surprising. Each small match had a prize of its own but most matches' prizes would be the mana orb of whoever loses in the match. That meant that if Katie had lost that match, she would have lost her mana orb as well, and that one was extremely hard to get by.
But it was no use thinking of the what-ifs and what not, Katie had won, and not only did she now have a mana orb with her, she had 2 mana orbs. Her chances in the tournament were getting higher and higher. Her ambition was closer to fulfillment.
Still the road was long but she will not stop walking it.
One match down, more to go.
