Just One Fight

"Hey little guy, I'll try and go easy on you, let's make this a first blood match, first to bleed loses OK?"

Despite the warnings earlier, Katie had let her ego get to her, it was a dumb side effect from the use of mana orbs. It wasn't exactly because of it. But she felt a great sense of confidence whenever she felt strong, and she felt really strong now, especially against a skinny guy like her opponent.

But her opponent just smiled and lowered his sunglasses for a bit.

"Ok," he snickered, "But who are you calling..."

He pulled out a mana orb that was twice the size of the one she had used earlier. In a flash, the man had went from a skinny-looking guy to a full-on body builder that was greater and taller than even her with the use of a mana orb. His muscles were great. His biceps were the size of a head. His veins were showing.

"...little guy?" The man finished his sentence as he towered over Katie with his new muscular body and a fierce look.

His appearance reminded Katie of a certain drug-obsessed villain from a certain comic book superhero.

"Ladies and Gentlemen," the announcer, who wore her signature bunny suit, came into the field with a smile, "This is an official mana tournament first blood match! Katie versus Darwin! Get read, get set..."

But instead of being scared, Katie had a thought.

'Ooooh! Maybe I should actually get Nate a mana orb...' She thought.

But this wasn't the time for such thoughts.

"Is it too late to change this to a pie eating challenge instead of first blood?" Katie said with sweat dropping.

"Sorry girlie, I'll try and go easy on ya!" Darwin, the man, smiled.

"FIGHT!!!" The announcer interrupted their brief conversation and shouted for the fighters to begin.

Right in the first second, Darwin went for a quick backflip. He landed with one hand in the ground and with a kick up in the air to the face. But Katie barely dodged it, making the kick land on her arm instead.

"Gaaah!!!"

"Oops, I guess I'm not very good at easy!" He laughed.

Panicking, Katie readied her fist. "PIE DEPRIVED FIST ATTACK!" She quickly went in, swinging her arm to strike Darwin for a knockout. But her fist simply landed in front of Darwin's abs. He didn't flinch for a second. It felt as if she had hit a brick wall. Katie was shocked. "That's not how it went in practice!"

"BAHAHA! Is that the best you got girlie?" Darwin was mocking her.

Tired from that behavior, she crouched down and backed up her arm with a tight grip for another strike. But this time she was going to give that man a strike from below.

"Noooo, don't do that stupid move!!" Nate facepalmed as he watched the fight with the crowd.

"It's NOT a stupid move!!!" Katie shouted.

As she finished her words, she charged up her fist and immediately went in for an uppercut which landed right to the man's jaw. But the punch didn't stop there. To everyone's surprise, Katie's uppercut had caused her to jump high up in the air as if she landed the killing blow with a victory superman fly.

"RISING KATIE PUNCH!!!" She shouted with pride.

"A stupid move with a stupid name," Nate couldn't believe what he was seeing.

Darwin backed away as he tried to straighten his jaw, "Wow that actually stung a little, I think it's time to finish off this girlie with her cute little..."

*sting*

Just then, Darwin felt his words stop and his mind freeze.

Immediately, he fell to the ground.

That uppercut had so much energy stored within that it knocked out the man straight with a slight delay in the impact.

Katie won.
