The Trickster wondered on what to spend his accumulated CP. Those soldiers he had killed had earned him some decent amount of CP and letting the points rot for much longer would be a total waste of resources. One could never know when he would face a dangerous situation so he had to be prepared for any kind of situation. After much thought, he added 0.5 to Perception, 0.3 to Speed and all the rest to Cards Sharpness.
All his physical stats were officially 3 or above, which reassured him. Enhanced Perception was extremely useful in this such an environment, where one had to rely on their senses. Better hearing and a good eye-sight could prove to be life-saving, especially against monsters like the one he killed in that dark hallway.
As for Cards Sharpness, he truly believed they would become sharper than even swords. If every one of his cards could easily cut monsters and humans alike, firearms would become obsolete.
The Trickster spent the remainder of the day doing Push-ups, Sit-ups, and Squats. He needed two thousand push-ups to level up the skill, a thousand squats, and two thousand sit-ups. Basically, it was double the initial 'phase' of [Trickster Auxiliary].
*[Push-up] Lv1=>2! +0.1 Card Points.*
*[Sit-up] Lv1=>2! +0.08 Card Points.*
*[Squat] Lv1=>2! +0.08 Card Points.*
After spending 5-6 hours levelling the three skills, the Trickster headed toward a relatively unscathed bathroom to clean himself. The water was still working properly so he removed his clothes and took a quick shower to get rid of the foul odour and sweat.

Soon, with a loaded handgun on his waist, a rifle on his back and a hidden military knife, he made his way upwards. From what he had seen before, he couldn't go all the way up as an explosion blocked the exit, so, sooner or later, climbing the stairs would no longer be an option. Nevertheless, he was going to check every floor and try to eliminate all the monsters to get those precious loot cards.
He was also very close to leveling up, probably two or three more monsters and he’ll finally become Lv2.
When Wolfram started climbing the stairs again, he heard loud gunshots. He halted his steps and steadied his breathing then slowly resumed climbing the half-destroyed stairs.
‘Several gunshots… they are not fighting monsters.’
An evil grin plastered itself on his pale face, he held the knife in one hand and three cards on the other. With their sharpness greatly increased, they were be able to cause some damage to humans as long as his accuracy wasn't off.
Obstructions such as military uniforms or helmets would render the cards useless, however, there was still the chance to hit the exposed areas such as the face and the neck.
*[Sensor Hearing] Lv1=>2! +0.2 Card Points.*
His hearing became a tad better, along with his Perception, he was able to clearly hear the gunshots when he entered the floor. They were approximatively forty to fifty meters away and there was at least 5 people.
The Trickster couldn’t hear what they were saying but it definitive that it was two groups of opposing humans.
‘Criminals and soldiers? Or something else?’
In this isolated military facility, especially with the appearance of monsters, it was better to ally with humans than fight amongst each other, therefore, for them to fight openly like this… it must be due to conflicting goals or different moral grounds.
Unlike the floor he was initially in, this one had blood all over the place, whether it was the walls, the ground, or the ceiling. This floor didn’t seem affected by the earthquake as all the rooms were unscathed, more or less. Most doors were closed and the lights were working perfectly.
Although he was curious about what was inside the rooms, the Trickster didn’t open any doors to not attract any unwanted attention. He made his way toward the source of the gunshots, wanting to assess the situation before he started exploring this place.
Luckily, there were several corpses along the way so he managed to loot four Stat Card. He gained 0.2 Strength, 0.1 Speed, 0.1 Magic Resistance, and 0.1 Magic.
Strangely enough, there were only human corpses and most of them belonged to either soldiers or scientists. It was either this floor wasn't a 'prison', per se, or all the prisoners managed to fully capture this place while killing the soldiers.
Around five minutes later, when the gunshots quietened down a bit. The Trickster finally arrived in a wide room which had dozens of bodies piled up on top of each other.
The Trickster licked his lips in excitement, the stat cards he could loot from such a huge pile would greatly enhance his stats. Just the mere thought of it made him impatient and in hurry to act.
Nevertheless, he held himself back and inspected the whole room. He spotted no one, but his [Sensor Hearing] warned him of a few individuals. He could hear low breathings a distance away,
They had either expected the arrival of someone or had sensed his presence.
‘So you want to play? Hahahaha’
Since he wore a military uniform, they probably mistook him for a soldier. Nonetheless, the Trickster stopped hiding and warily made his way toward the pile of corpses. Until now, the hiding enemies didn’t act and only watched him.
The Card System was truly helpful to its owner; He didn’t have to thoroughly search every corpse. All the Stat Cards were clustered together under the first corpse.
There were exactly eight Stat Cards.
He unhesitatingly crushed all of them at once and felt the exhilarating feelings caused by the increase in stats. In total, he gained 0.32 Strength, 0.22 Perception, 0.07 Magic Control, 0.15 Speed, 0.09 Vitality.
Perhaps purposefully or not, one of the enemies caused some noise which was heard by the busy Trickster.
Upon hearing this noise, he 'fearfully' looking around, without needing to check the presence of the enemies, he hastily threw his knife, gun, and rifle and raised his hands in the air.
“Please don’t shoot!”
The enemies were startled by his actions but pleased with the outcome. Three scary-looking men appeared from the dark corners of the room and pointed their rifles at the cowardly man, who knelt and didn’t dare attempt anything.
“I surrender! Please don’t shoot!”
From the look of their faces, they didn’t seem that merciful or kind.
“Wait wait! I’m a criminal too! Please don’t shoot!”
While it was true that Wolfram didn’t have the look of a soldier with that weird tattoo on his face, they still didn’t drop their guard.
“I came from the lower floors, I had to wear these clothes to trick those bastards!”
Hearing his honest plea, the three hesitated and didn’t know what to do.
“You… what’s your name?!”
