Magikind Glossary and terminology
Elemental, Bestial and Utility types – subclass of mages. Elementals often use the elements (fire, water etc.), bestials are usually those with superhuman (like strength, speed, stealth etc.), and utility is the miscellaneous that fit neither category.
INS – short for Integrated Nanobot System. Uses nanobots. Gin’s main source of utility and weaponry. (also see Gin’s notes #8)
Lupim – Descendants of the dog family. Bred to be used for battle.
Mages – Humans who evolved to be able to choose which genetic properties they passed onto their offspring.
The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.
Manush – The descendants of the humans who weren’t mages.
MBP – Stands for Mage Breeding Programme. Every mage of the 5th millennium comes from the MBP and are artificially bred. There are 3 seperate MBPs, one in Eurasia, one in the Afro-Australian Alliance and one in The Americas. They act as the government in their respective factions. (See Gin’s notes #2)
Rezah – A type of large tree that mages use to live in.
Tinoo – Birds used as messengers and battle signals.
Xernim – Parasites that co-exist with some mages.
Final Comments: The world is set in the late fifth millennia. The humans are evolved and so are taller, stronger etc. than that of our time. Therefore, a lot of the size differences and viewpoints are relative (like how 7ft is considered short).
