Gin’s notes #7.5 – About myself
Ok. I messed up with the order of the notes. I should have done this at the beginning, and it’s a bit late now. You might be confused reading this, and once again, I apologise dear readers for this blunder. ‘But what blunder?’ you may ask. Well, embarrassing as it is, I forgot to introduce myself. Me. The damned author of these notes (and as you may have guessed from the title of the notes, my name is Gin).
Well, better late than never. Here’s a few of the basic details to start you off:
Name: Gin Julius Gale
Date of Birth: 23rd February 4939 (I’m 33 at the time of writing this)
Place of Birth: A (now non-existent) hidden village outside the city of Iraq
This text was taken from Royal Road. Help the author by reading the original version there.
Height: 6’ 10’’ (tall for a manush, short for a mage)
Skin colour: Light Brown
Hair colour: Black
Eye Colour: Brown
Species: Manush
Skills (relative to the average mage): Nothing special from genetics (typical of a manush); adept swordsmanship; fast reactions; above average eyesight; high stamina and regeneration rates; above average speed and agility; low strength. Most of these are thanks to the nanobot operation I had as a child.
Now for the ambiguous stuff. In terms of personality, I guess I am smart, ambitious and very unorganised. Of course, I try to stay humble as well. Others have called me arrogant, childish, stubborn, selfish and other negative traits too, but I don’t take too much notice to them. I do what I think is best. However, often what I think is best doesn’t align with what others think.
I am a soldier in the Eurasian army, using my blade boxing fighting style. I am also a nanobot scientist. Not on the level of my father, though. He was a true genius in the field. I am also a part-time author (well, that’s a given considering you’re reading my work right now!). These notes will hopefully be passed down from generation to generation as a guide to the late fifth millennia Earth. I always wonder what others will think of me when they read my work.
