Jacob sat at the end of the bar, like usual, taking a sip of his drink.
“So the Director of the Bureau's American branch wanted you to lead a new division?” Lily asked.
“Yup,” Jacob said.
“And you just took the job?”
“Yup.”
“Jacob, I know why you are doing this,” Lily said.
“Really now, tell me then.”
“Jacob, I’ve known you for years. I know the reason why you’re doing this. You're starting your own empire, aren’t you?”
Jacob took another sip of his drink and smiled at Lily. “Being in The Bureau gives me some special perks if you catch my drift.”
Lily sighed. “Why are you doing this Jacob? You just got this job, and you just came back from the military. Why are you turning back to crime?”
“I’m wondering the same thing, Lily. I’m wondering the same thing.” Jacob took another sip of his drink before he stood up and walked away. “I’ll come back with a proposal for you Lily.”

[Alcatraz, San Francisco]
“Cell D-14 sir.”
“Good,” Jacob said, “Can’t wait to meet her.” Jacob slowly walked his way through the endless halls filled with bars upon bars enclosing inmates, the most dangerous ones. Jacob walked and he walked until he was there. Cell D-14 is the cell of the infamous descendant of the infamous gangster Machine Gun Kelly, Kelly Nelson. She was 5’ 5” and has short blonde hair. It’s what gave her the nickname Submachine Gun Kelly. She hated the name.
“Infamous for your ability to command basically an entire army, and your ruthlessness when it comes to everything.”
Kelly looked up and stared at the man standing in front of her. “Who the fuck are you?” she asked.
“Sorry, I forgot to introduce myself. The name’s Jacob Drill, I’m the division leader of D6, a division in The Bureau's American branch.”
“Why are the people who put me in here looking to talk to me?”
“Well, it’s because I’m not exactly on the same side as The Bureau.”
“What the fuck is that supposed to mean?”
“It means I’m starting a new gang, and I need your expertise.”
Kelly looked up in surprise. “What kind of gang?”

[Austin, Texas]
“The boss’ll see ya now.” Jacob nodded his head and marched his way into the wide expanded office of the man everyone went to ask for help with money. Walter Tombstone, also known as the Tax Collector. Your average cowboy, hat, boots, and all. Standing at 6’ 1” and slicked back long black hair.
The tale has been illicitly lifted; should you spot it on Amazon, report the violation.
“Ya know, I have never met a real cowboy before.”
“State ya business boy, I don’t got all damn day.”
Jacob smiled and took a seat across from Walter. “My name’s Jacob Drill, I’m a member of The Bureau.”
“The Bureau? What the fuck are you doing here?”
“Well, I’m not exactly with The Bureau, I’m starting a new gang and I need your expertise with money.”
“What makes you think that I’ll join you?”
Jacob smiled, “You like money, don’t ya?”

[Brooklyn Detention Complex]
“Are you sure you wanna meet him?”
Jacob smiled. “Just tell me the cell.”
“E-32.”
Jacob walked down the halls of the prison, looking for the numbers that he was just given. He reached the cell and looked through the bars at a familiar face.
“Hector Alvarez, A mass murderer who helped a man kill 23 people.”
Hector looked up, “Jacob? What the hell are you doing here?
“Well, life has a funny way of bringing people back together. I am looking for your expertise in chemistry.”
“Why are you talking about my only degree in college?”
“You know how drugs work, how to make them, and how to distribute them. I need your skills.”
Hector sighed. “And what about your new bureau job? I heard about that one.”
“That’s the protection you’ll get. I’ll make sure you get outta here.”
“Why are you even doing this Jacob?”
“It’s in my blood Hector, I have to.”
Hector laughed, “Can’t argue with that! Anyway, I think there is someone here you wanna see.”
“I don’t wanna talk to her.”
“Do you even know why she’s in here?”
“Enlighten me.”
Hector sighed and rubbed his eyes before he stood up and walked to the bars of the cell. “She manufactured unregistered firearms and sold them to terrorist organizations.”
Jacob laughed. “She was always abnormally good in our gunsmithing class. What cell is she in?”
“Hell if I know. There’s a reason why men and women are separated here.”
“Don’t worry, I already know. I’ll have some of my guys come and pick you up.” Jacob walked his way down another hall. Prisoners yelling and screaming at him as he walked past them. Jacob was told he was identical to this scum, but these were the type of people he hated the most.
Jacob walked down to the hall until he reached a door.
“Stop right there!” said a prison guard, “What are you doing here?”
“I’m with The Bureau, you better let me in.” The guard flinched before reluctantly opening the door. On the other side of the door was a woman. Hot pink hair down to the middle of her back with pointed ears, signifying she was part Elf. The only difference was the cat-like tail that she had.
“It’s been a while, Natylee,” Jacob said.
Natylee turned around and stared at Jacob like she was questioning who he was. “Who the fuck are you?”
“You don’t recognize your childhood friend anymore?”
Natylee’s eyes widened as she realized who she was talking two. “Jacob? Wh-- what are you doing here? I thought you were still in the military!”
“I just got out recently and was given a job opportunity.”
“What kind of job?” Natylee asked.
“I’m the division leader of a new division in The Bureau.”
“What?!? How?”
“Some questions are best left unanswered. Anyway, I didn’t come here to visit you. Came to give you a job opportunity.”
“Why would you trust me, even after all the things I did to you?”
“Because Natylee, you were the only person who was on my side during my trials.”
Natylee looked down and stared at the cold, hard, grey floor before looking back at Jacob. “What do you want me to do?”
“Well, I just recently learned why you are in here in the first place. I could use your skills in a project of mine.”

[Bureau HQ]
“So,” Johnny said, “You want an infamous gangster, a loan shark, a mass murder, and a gun smuggler as your team? What kind of bullshit are you trying to pull Jacob?”
Jacob laughed nervously as he scratched the back of his head. “You told me I could choose who I wanted, so I chose the best of the best.”
Johnny sighed before looking back at the paper. “Fine, you can have them.”
“Thank you very much, sir.” Jacob stood up and walked out of the room. He walked down the hall until he reached another door. He walked inside the room and saw the four people he chose.
“So, this is how things are gonna work.”
