Personally, I think this was an improvement over the previous book. I hope the experience I've gained, little as it may be, showed through in the story itself. It'd be really embarrassing if it didn't!
So, what was it like, reading about Grey and Flèche while they were still alive? Personally, I ended up enjoying writing about Grey the most. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to give Flèche much to say or do... hopefully that'll change when I revisit this time period and this cast, and yes, I intend to eventually!
Anyway, Láng was a new character that the audience doesn't know yet. Well, technically not, anyway. You can see how similar to Trace she is, can't you? In fact, I kind of worry that I may have made her a little too similar. Aaaah, my audience has probably figured out one of later the plot developments already...! *sweatdrop*
Does the Phoenix Empire seem interesting to you? I sure hope so, because I'll have to revisit it in both time periods. Also, I'm probably butchering these languages, just putting stuff through Google Translate and pasting it in. Maybe I can pass it off as a stylistic choice if I keep doing it... *looks at the audience* W-wait! I mean--!

...but yeah, I managed to finish something else, and for right now, I'm happy with it. I hope to improve even more with future projects.
Speaking of which, let me tell you a little bit about what they are. Right now, two of them are my main priority.
The first is Sin Judge Knight. A "main story", which will take us back to Trace, Azul, and Cleo's time, or close to it, anyway. More specifically, it will be set in 2014 A.S., right after the main events of Young Magic Knight's flashback chapters 12 and 13 occur. Starring a new cast dealing with different problems, it's going to be set in Eagland, Noches City, which I think I mentioned once in Young Magic Knight. So while I hope you'll find the new setting exciting, if you remember Chapter 12, one character you may recognize will be there, so I hope you're looking forward to learning more about her and seeing what happened to her!
The other one is another "Legends story", that...
...okay, you know how the characters in The Phoenix Empire Pilgrimage refer to the land to the north as Bevel, but the people in Young Magic Knight call that same place Lumiere? With this story, also starring mostly new characters, you'll get to see how things got to be that way, among other things, but aside from that, other details of the story will remain secret, for now. I'm putting a ton of effort into this one; it won't be super short like The Phoenix Empire Pilgrimage, in fact, looking at my notes it could wind up being my longest story yet. I hope that sounds fascinating to you!
