Synopsis
Welcome to the fantastic world of Bios. Another world, not much unlike our own, with some exceptions, such as, say, the presence of gods, demons, and magic. While things like these will be forgotten after the Great Witch Hunt of the 1500's, let us turn the clock back to an earlier time. Back to an age of adventure and magic...
In the year of 1010 A.S. (Anno Salvator) a group of powerful magicians called the Stargazers, who had come together to create powerful new magic for the good of all mankind, had created an amazing, unique spell that no one had ever seen before: the Knighting. Using the power of one of the 366 Birth Stars, they could grant any human amazing magical power, turning them into what is known as a Magic Knight.
The young man known only as Grey was one of these Magic Knights. An orphan who was taken in by Emperor ?tori after the mysterious disaster at Dragon's Cradle in 1011 A.S., he now fights alongside other warriors for the continued peace of the Phoenix Empire.
Now, in 1018 A.S., Let us tell the story of one of the many tasks that Grey and his friends have been trusted with by the Emperor: taking a young priest on a pilgrimage to the Lunar Forest to offer thanks to the goddess of the moon.
Though, of course, if things were that simple, this wouldn't be a story worth telling, now, would it...?
Note: While this is set in the same world as Young Magic Knight, my previous work, it is not required reading in order to enjoy this, although it may help. That said, I might be able to say the same thing the other way around... if you ask me, you should be able to read them in any order you want (if you even plan on reading both) and enjoy them just fine. Of course, however, I, as their author, am just hoping you will read and enjoy both no matter what.
And just in case you can't find Young Magic Knight for whatever reason, I will provide a link to it: http://royalroadl.com/fiction/7753
