Welcome to Nova ONE.
This small planet sits at the center of The Thundercloud System where—best astroglass mechanics can tell—electrical energy is most potent and abundant, giving the planet its natural resources and magical capabilities when harnessed by engineering. But Nova ONE is caught in a race against time. The planet’s last remaining energy source, Emberstones, is in short supply. And if the next generation of brilliant minds and entrepreneurial problem-solvers—known in this world as Empyreans—don’t find a solution, the planet will soon turn into a barren wasteland and become uninhabitable… just like the other planets in The Thundercloud System.
Will our heroes find a solution in time?
Nova ONE consists of 5 quadrants:
* Voltara: To the north, “The Electric City” is home to magical startups, legacy companies, non-profits, art museums, sporting arenas, and tourist attractions.
* Lumina: To the east, “The Scholar’s Metropolis” boasts a sprawling campus where the next generation of innovators study to become Engineers, Designers, Storytellers, and a select few, Empyreans.
* Helixia: To the southeast, “The Golden Isles” are where the planet’s elite have homes nestled into the cliffside overlooking the planet’s beloved turquenite ocean.
* Pyronia: To the southwest, “The Outskirts” are where the planet’s forgotten working class lives, and is full of dangerous mining sites with steep canyons and large machinery hard at work digging up Emberstones—used for everything from jewelry to fuel.
* Thunder Ridge: To the west, “Fizzlebark Country” is the planet’s national park home to endangered wildlife, towering forests, and rare magical materials. Thunder Ridge is protected by Nova ONE’s government and off-limits for resource mining or innovation.
At the center of Nova ONE sits The Maglev Quarter, connecting Maglev Train Stations between all quadrants of the planet.

Maglev Trains use magnetic energy, hovering slightly above the rails sitting inside a vacuum-sealed tube, allowing passengers to quickly and easily move across the planet. It would take you 38 days by foot to walk from Lumina to Thunder Ridge, but in a Maglev Train you can get there in about 20 minutes.
