This time Ishida caught his balance before hitting the wall, but the previous splatter of blood from his last entrance was still there.
Ishida opened his terminal and went to the
After about a minute of swiping through tabs he came across a mediocre but good enough glaive.
Dragonbone glaive. Lv.12
Aether★★★☆☆☆
Damage type-Slash
Effect(s):Bleed, Burn.
An ancient weapon said to have been forged in the pits of hell.
Durability-▮▮▮▮▮
Price:300 Gold.
Ishida chose to buy it as he required a weapon for the maze or else his chances of survival were nearly non-existent.
He gripped his new weapon tightly hoping to not break it this time.
He traveled into the maze for about 3 hours, this time with no fear of what might happen to him. He wasn't weak anymore. He had a fighting chance.
He didn’t feel right, his thoughts were racing and bouncing from place to place since he hadn’t seen any monsters since he entered the maze.
He walked for a bit more before seeing a larger gate than the one at the entrance. He was taken aback by the sight of it as he hadn’t encountered it the last time he was in the maze and he was sure that he took the same route as before.
He walked up to the gate and slowly pushed it open revealing a large clearing with an enormous cut tree in the middle nearly taking up the entire space.
Ishida got closer to the center of the tree. Then his system began acting up again.
His eyes flashed red again, but this time instead of being forced into a stagnant position he received a warning.

Ishida got a bit worried, not only at the danger that lied ahead but also at the fact that the system gave him a warning. Usually the system had no way to tell what was in the user's vicinity which also means it had no warning system.
So the fact he received a warning message was a clear sign something was wrong.
Ishida pushed forward making sure he was ready for anything that might happen, even with that readiness he was shaking as he walked forward.
In a blinding flash a giant came falling from the sky, landing directly in front of Ishida. The force of the wind that came with the beings great fall flung Ishida backwards.
Ishida staved his glaive into the ground to stop himself from flying off the tree.
Ishida grit his teeth at the appearance of this monster. He had heard tales of things like this before, large monsters, one eye, primitive clothing.
The story has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.
There was no mistaking the cyclops that stood a few feet from his face.
In desperation and blind courage, he sprinted at the cyclops, but soon after he was batted away by its giant club.
Ishida decided that upfront attacks were not the best way to go about it since his attempts would only be voided by the cyclops size.
Light of the False Dawn
Virtuoso ★★★★☆☆
Arcana cost-320
[Cannot be upgraded.]
Channels a defined amount of mana into one point before releasing it out as a tiny point of light, this light attracts all enemies against their will and once close it explodes piercing through an enemies every atom. The light, as beautiful as it may seem, is a harbinger of pain.
Ishida decided to finally use the spell he got not too long ago. The cyclops’ attention was drawn towards the light that radiated off of Ishida’s finger tip and it began to mindlessly wander towards it as if it had no other choice.
The cyclops dropped its weapon while Ishida readied his own.
As soon as the cyclops got within range of both his glaive and the secondary magic attack from the ‘Light of the False Dawn’ Ishida began his onslaught.
He aimed for the legs of the large beast to knock it down, and on its way down the light from ‘Light of the False Dawn’ pierced its body.
But with the activation of the secondary attack came the cyclops' consciousness as well, but any half hearted attempt at survival would only result in the beast's death as it was already on the verge of extinction.
But the cyclops wasn’t smart enough to understand that fact and recklessly swung its fist at Ishida before collapsing before any impact could be made.
The cyclops wasn't dead, but it sure couldn’t move.
“Die bitch”
Ishida began stabbing the cyclops over and over before finally receiving the message

Ishida pulled back up the odd menu from before but this time rather than focusing on the observe function, he mainly looked at the option that said
He tried clicking on it but was rejected.
[Unlocked at level 30.]
“Well that sucks I guess.”
Ishida put the glaive in his inventory then approached the boss chest that spawned when the cyclops was defeated.
Upon opening it he saw a trench coat similar to the one he had already been wearing. He put it on to try it out but he soon realized it didn’t change any of his stats in any way and was mainly for vanity.
It looked slightly better than the one he had been wearing already so he chose to keep it.
He pushed forward into the maze, killing a few things in the process.
This time rather than just Imps he killed goblins, orcs, and lizard men. Finally reaching level 30.
