Chapter 120

Chapter 120

Sebastian raised his brow, thinking Tyler was just bluffing.

He smiled. "If that's the case, I'll leave it to you to order for her. She lost her memory and has forgotten many things. I grew up with her, so I know her very well."

Tyler would have dealt with the whole thing in a perfunctory manner if it was any other man and not Sebastian who suggested the idea. After all, it would be easy for Tyler to fool him as long as Vicky followed Tyler's lead and played along with his plan.

However, Sebastian was Vicky's childhood friend who only knew Vicky all too well. There were things Vicky had forgotten but Sebastian never would.

Sebastian knew that Tyler and Vicky never had a good relationship and that Tyler was rarely home in all the three years they had been married. Therefore, how could Tyler ever know anything about what Vicky liked?

Today would be the day Sebastian revealed Tyler's true colors to Vicky. In that way, she would completely give up on him and snap out of whatever illusion she might still have about him.

Tyler could not help but smirk when he noticed the smug look on Sebastian's face. He gracefully flipped the menu on the table as he softly read some of the names of dishes.

For the main course, he ordered steak, foie gras, escargot, and some other commonly found dishes in a fine dining establishment. Then he finished up the order with some soup, beverages, fruits, and desserts. He even ordered a strawberry ice cream for her.Belongs to (N)ôvel/Drama.Org.

Sebastian was utterly stunned. All of the food Tyler ordered was to Vicky's liking, especially the strawberry ice cream. It had been years since she had ice cream on account of her upsetting her stomach because cold food was her favorite.

Not only did Tyler know she liked to eat ice cream, but he even knew her favorite flavor.

Vicky was also taken aback. "I actually like to eat ice cream?"

She and Tyler had been together for quite some time, and she would always order something she liked whenever they dined out. Therefore, it would be enough to list out all the food she usually ordered in the restaurants they frequented to win this "game" he was playing with Sebastian. Of course, this would only work if he had paid attention to what Vicky had ordered in the past.

Having said that, Vicky noticed that most of the food Tyler ordered for her today were things she had never ordered in a restaurant after losing her memory.

Tyler glanced at her and said, "Not only do you like ice cream, but you also like to eat street food, especially..."

After she lost her memory, Vicky seldom ate outside. The occasional times that she did that were mostly with Cece or Tyler. In fact, Sebastian actually knew more about her than she did herself.

"What? Especially what?" Vicky couldn't help getting curious.

"Blue cheese," replied Tyler with a frown, as if he had conjured up the blue cheese's iconic pungent smell.

Vicky's eyes widened. "I... liked that?"

"Well, you should ask yourself that," replied Tyler with a grimace.

Vicky looked at him incredulously. "Are you bluffing me?"

Tyler pressed his lips into a thin line out of displeasure at Vicky's question. "Why don't you ask your childhood friend then?"

Vicky looked at Sebastian. "Sebastian, is it true?"

At some point, a complex look could be seen in Sebastian's eyes. After a few seconds of silence, he nodded.

'It's true?' Vicky found it hard to believe.

She looked at Tyler with some awe in her eyes. "How did you know?"

"You once brought it back home to eat as a snack," said Tyler, scrunching up his nose. That day, he nearly passed out from its pungent smell.

Vicky remained silent. Somehow or other, seeing Tyler's grimace made her feel so much better.

It fell silent again after the waiter finished taking their orders. Neither Sebastian nor Tyler said anything else.
