“So that’s him,” A voice said clouded in black as they sat on top of St. Mary academy’s roof top, looking down at the students coming in from the front gate of the school.

“Yes, that’s the boy that has it,” another voice added, as they walked toward the clocked figure. They had a robe that was dark green in color with a snake emblem in the center and a face mask that covered half their face, with piercing green eyes.

“I see he’s being guarded by both the Hexa and the Ivanov girl, is not going to be easy to get the necklace from him, alive anyway,” the figure in black said, letting out a laugh, as they crossed their legs, and resting their chin on their hand.

“ As long as we have the necklace that’s all that matters, dead or alive the boy has no use to us, only the necklace. “

“Besides we have that person to keep them busy while we get the boy.”

“And if that person fails? What then?”

“Even for me taking on them two would be an issue, not that I can’t but the Ivanov girl is of no interest to me.”

“In that case, I’ve always wanted to take on two witches from such great families as theirs, “ the figured cloaked in dark green said,

“I also hear Evara is here and you have Nana as well, Can the great Medusa handle four witches at once,” the dark cloaked figure say, in a mocking tone.

“Watch your tongue, mockingbird,” Medusa said, her piercing green eyes looking at the cloaked figure..

“Scary,” Mockingbird said, laughing , as they took off the cloaked and revealing green and pink hair.

“I hear Serpin was killed pretty easily, has the covenant gone weak?”

“She was not a true member of the covenant, more like a useful pawn to test the waters if you will.”

“Well, she was weak, being done so easily by the young Hexa child,” Mockingbird said, laughing.

“But I won’t.”

Mockingbird stood up, and looked at Mikki, there was a certain menacing look in her eyes, a killer intent that even Medusa had to acknowledge.

“I don’t care about the necklace all I care about is destroying the Hexa family.”

Medusa looked at Mockingbird, she was only a child of twelve yet she already was quite the powerful witch and had a certain bloodlust for someone at such an age.

“Don’t let the others hear you, for they aren’t as forgiving as me,” Medusa said.

“I’m not afraid of the Serpentis Covenant,” Mockingbird said,

“You should, after all, are you forgetting who our leader is.”

Mockingbird put her hands on the back of her head, and laughed.

“I’m joking, I’m joking, where’s your sense of humor. IS the covenant nothing but grumpy old witches. But as long as you give me what I want that’s all I care about.”

“And you will, “Medusa said,

“Good, well I guess I’ll see you later,” Mocking bird said, as she was whisked away by the wind.

“Useful child nothing more nothing less,” Medusa said, almost pitying the young girl.

“She’s going to get herself killed, but as long as she’s useful that’s all that matters.”

"I see you were not able to get the necklace back to the Ivanov family,” an old lady dressed in a white dress said, as she looked down at Esfir and teddy from her large transparent ice chair.

“Forgive me great -grandmother Ivana,” Esfir said,

“It wasn’t her fault,’ Teddy interjected, it was him that failed not Esfir.

“SILENT!” Ivana yelled, which made the room tremble.

“If I want to talk to stuffed toys, I’ll ask.”

“Sorry master,” Teddy said, lowering his head.

“So our necklace is in the hands of some kid, and I hear some witch tried to get it as well, for reasons we don’t even know. What are you going to do , Esfir? If the necklace is lost again that would be shame upon the great Ivanov family.”

“I will protect the necklace,” Esfir said,

“Of that you will, it took us this long to find it and we only did because of that careless second rate witch.” Ivana said,

“Though I do wonder why some witch wants our heirloom, jealous of the great Ivanov family no doubt. I tell you our family is the envy of the witches.

We have achieve such greatness that I wouldn’t be surprise if the necklace is looked as a treasure to be coveted by some second rate failed covenant. And is not like we can get it if Evara is with the kid, not even a figure as great as me can beat Evara so easily. If your mother was still alive she would not have let this happened. When she died it was a great loss to the Ivanov family.

Such a shame that she didn’t leave a better replacement for such talent,” Ivana touched her cheek as a gesture of pity as she looked at Esfir.

Such a pity, and to make matters worse she fell in love with some regular man, such talent wasted on their offspring.”

Teddy grabbed Esfir hand.

“Don’t listen to her,” he whispered.

“Did you say something,” Ivana said, raising an eyebrow of annoyance at the stuffed toy. She had let Esfir be with it for far too long now.

“Careful or I will make you into a common table cloth.”

“Great grandmother Ivana ,” Esfir said, looking at her great grandmother,

“I’m sorry for letting you down, I promise that the necklace would come back to the Ivanov family.”

“Make sure you do, “Ivana sad,

“Now go I don’t want to see such failed sights in front of me anymore. “

‘Yes, Great grandmother Ivana,” Esfir said bowing down before her.

Teddy looked back and wanted nothing more than to punch her lights out, but he couldn’t, Esfir needed her, he was her protector.
