In 2002, a man walked into times square holding a doomsday sign and began to fly. He declared the end of the world, that "The Denizens of the Dusk have found humanity." This was the first Bound. A person who has an Entity bind itself to their soul. These Entities have the ability to gift their strength to the one they are bound to. 100 years later, human governments have fallen, and the Bound Kings and Warlords took their place. The Wars of the Bound Kings ravaged the continent, killing billions. The Grand City stands as the last safe haven for humanity in a destroyed world. Nearly a century after the founding of the Grand City, Jessica joins the Department of Bound Services, known better as the Bound Department. Her Entity, known as King, has awaked a power on the level of the Kings of the old world. Jessica simply wishes to do her duty and serve her home, but those threatened by her ability will do what they can to be rid of her and their influence has been felt from the moment Jessica awakened.  Now, Jessica must fulfil her obligations as an Agent, deal with the bureaucracy of the Bound Department, the constant presence of an Entity she can't fully trust, and she has to do it all perfectly, or the powers that be will send her into the deepest darkest hole they can and bury her in it.  With no room for error, Jessica will need to learn the ropes quickly and gain the strength necessary to succeed in such a hostile environment.  Updates Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday.
