Say goodbye to Gujia Village 50(2)

"Starving!"

"Yes! Barbecue on the house!" White Rabbit exclaimed with a joyful wave, then suddenly glanced down at her bare feet, "I still need to buy a pair of shoes!"

...

The five left Gujia Village, smoothly crossing the small forest this time, with no strange 'field domains' blocking their path.

By the roadside, Officer Huang's police car still stood there.

Next to it was an orange sports car, sleek and low, with an extended rear deck, its aerodynamic lines exuding a futuristic style.

“A McLaren P1!” Wang Zikai shouted excitedly as he dashed over, "Damn! I’ve always wanted one! My dad says it's too expensive and won’t buy it for me!"

“Well, looks like you know your cars.” Wu Dahai strolled over, casually pulling out the keys. With a soft "beep," the car doors opened like mechanical wings, rising gracefully.

Everyone was stunned.

Who would have guessed that this seemingly unremarkable Wu Dahai was actually a rich heir?

Wu Dahai winked at Qing Ling, "Wanna ride in my car?"

Qing Ling didn't even spare him a glance as she ducked into the back seat of the police car. Gao Yang hesitated for a moment before following her in.

"You’re Fat Jun, right? You take the front seat; you're broader," White Rabbit instructed as she slid into the back seat, wedging Gao Yang between her and Qing Ling. Gao Yang sat there, stiff and awkward, unsure where to place his hands.

“Wow, first time in a police car, feeling a bit nervous,” White Rabbit chirped, her mood buoyant, like a girl heading off on a field trip.

“Want me to slap some handcuffs on you for the full experience?” Officer Huang teased.

“Sure! Let me try!” White Rabbit responded eagerly.

Officer Huang tossed her a pair of handcuffs, “Here you go.”

White Rabbit caught them and immediately cuffed her left hand, then grabbed Gao Yang’s right hand, locking them together with a click.

“What are you doing?” Gao Yang asked in surprise.

White Rabbit waved her hand playfully. "Don’t we look like a pair of bank-robbing lovers, on the run from the law? No, no, scratch that... serial killers! That’s more thrilling! I can already picture the ending—the police car flips, you die in a blaze of glory to save me, and I inherit your fortune, living out the rest of my days in extravagant sorrow.”

Gao Yang was speechless.

You were just calling Wu Dahai childish, but you're even more ridiculous than he is!

Laughter filled the police car, while the sleek sports car beside them, worth over 20 million, sat unnoticed—except by Wang Zikai.

“Bro, can I sit in the passenger seat?” Wang Zikai, eyes wide with excitement, spoke with uncharacteristic humility. This was the power of money.

“Get in,” Wu Dahai sighed heavily, shaking his head in envy, “Damn, Gao Yang is the real winner in life.”

The police car drove off first.

Wu Dahai started the engine, while Wang Zikai screamed in excitement, “Holy crap! A 900-horsepower beast! Zero to sixty in 2.8 seconds, with a top speed of 380 km/h! This engine roar, it’s music to my ears…”

But Wu Dahai wasn’t amused. "If you like it that much, I'll lend it to you for a year."

"Really?" Wang Zikai's joy was overwhelming, tears of happiness welling up. "Bro, you’re the best! From now on, you’re my number one! Gao Yang’s getting bumped to second place!"

"Alright, alright," Wu Dahai muttered, waving dismissively as he drove, his enthusiasm clearly drained. “What’s the point of a car if it can’t help you score a girl?”
