Trinin rode for 2 straight hours to get back to the hideout in the woods. He needed to tell the boss who he saw, and hopefully be rewarded for it.
The boss was new, he became the boss after killing the old one. One thing the new boss did that the old one didn't was actually give money, and not just say that he is holding on to it for later. Trinin liked that, which is why he is happy he has good information to give to the boss, after all he spent all his money already.
Trinin had lived in Kretos before joining the gang, and he was there when the boss and lady Makim fought. Some people said that it was possible for a normal person to fight a mage, but he never believed them. Mages didn't spend their time using magic in public but the few times he saw it, he couldn't believe anyone could fight them, some could lift things without touching and some burned things , there were rumors that some could even fly. But, that evening, he saw it, lady Makim and the boss fighting, a famous mercenary without magic and a mage fighting, and the mercenary won, the mage, his boss had actually ran away.
Now Trinin hesitated, he had never told the boss he recognized who he is, and the boss might be angry, the fact that he burnt through all his money and that he would surely appreciate but he surely appreciate to know about his old enemy made the decision for him.
The hideout was a three story wooden house created in a place far off the main road. It was the old boss's place, he had built it himself. and it served them well even after his death by the hands of the new boss.
When he got there he went straight to the boss's office.

«Trinin I thought you would be back in a few days» The boss said as soon as he saw Trinin. He found the boss sitting in his big chair
«I saw lady Makim in the city boss» Trinin said quickly explaining himself. One thing about the boss is that he always dresses well. When he took over he forced all them men to get nicer clothes, they thought it was a waste of money, but soon they noticed that somehow dressing well made them sell more of the product to the nobles.
«What do you mean?» The boss asked.
«Lady Makim from Kretos, I saw in grov city two days straight»
«How do you know of lady Makim?» The boss asked in a very calm voice, but from the look in his eyes, Trinin knew he had to thread carefully. he decided to say he just heard of their fight from people in Kretos when he used to lived there. Better that than to say he witnessed his boss's complete humiliation at the hand of a girl.
«First you are going to tell me everything you know about Kretos» the boss said «Then you are going to tell me exactly what happened in Grovlar city and why you waited until the second day to come and tell me»
Trinin could see the boss was angry, and since he was not stupid he explained everything, how he came from Kretos and heard the boss and lady Makim had the fight, he also explained that he saw lady Makim alone walking around Grovlar city, she was staying at the same inn as him, he lied and told the boss that he didn't come the first day because he didn't recognize her the first day, he didn't say that it was because he didn't want to cut short his break since at the time he still had money.
After he finished his narration the boss called for other men to come. When the boss told them to go to Grov city with Trinin and capture a girl some men complained
«A girl? Isn't ten men a lot» One of the man asked. Trinin thought that is was stupid to question, and he was proven right, when the boss stretched his hands and without even touching him, sent him flying. Everyone got the message
«I can't get in the city» the boss said calmly «But ... I. Want. That. Girl.»
Trinin actually agreed with the boss, after all lady Makim is the only person he ever saw that fought against a mage and won. They would need the men.
«How do we get her out of the city?» one of the bravest men asked
«How do you get the product into the city?» the boss asked. Trinin didn't think it would be so easy to pay up the guards to allow them to take out a girl.
