White Star Academy, 33rd Quadrant.
The Ascenders Council once made a part of history known, which was only withheld by the apex of the universe previously. The Guildmaster on his dying wishes made two miracles within the last of his hundred years lifespan. The Greatest Ascenders who inspired an era, one was the knowledge of the six previous, now seven creators, and the other was The Academy.
The Seven Gods made their dying wishes, so powerful were they before the greater consumer of time, that their blessings were made immortal! A piece of them piercing the ever inescapable doom of our lifespans, our eventual fates, that is the beginning truth!
The First God, Azra, the God of Evolution and Draconic Strength. He said, “First, we Evolve!”.
Class, what do you think his words meant? Why do we need to evolve? What is the goal of Azra?
…
James stood at the beginning of a golden embroidered marble hall, a large statue stood on the far end, a depiction of a mad man with dozens of various melee weapons stuck in his back, hunched over looking down at the ground. The man was simply detailed and only the depiction of a vague male figure could be seen. The weapons, however, seemed almost too simplistic, complete with blocky marble forms, one could only guess what weapon each piece might be.
In front of the man was a long blue carpet, it was quite soft as James walked across it with visual comfort.
“I’m back.”
To the right and left were adorned walls of murals, with marble columns separating different arcs of some kind of tale.
Above was a curved, dome-like ceiling that had two strips of a golden glowing rock running down its peak, lighting up the hallway in a bright golden color.
Looking down slightly, James saw a blue semi-transparent screen, it had various details listing out his general being at that moment in time, furthermore, at the top gave a percentage.

“Everything looks to be right, oh?” James noticed something off from what he remembered, it was just a small thing, however, he remembered he made a big deal out of it for a while.
My Proficiencies aren’t Useless? They’re question marks?
James laughed inwardly in his head, he didn’t remember a single person that didn’t have a useless tag on them until they reached floor 5 at the earliest.
With his mind in remembrance, Jame’s body didn’t stop moving toward the statue. With a steady and calm walk, he smoothly and somberly swaggered his way to the statue, looking up at its giant figure taking up the entire back hall width and height.
He’s like a titan, one who persevered through the cycles of battles until he reached the peak.
James vaguely made out something else he didn’t notice before, on the marble giant’s chest hung a simple string necklace also made of marble, it looked as if it was only a thin simple rope, yet its meaning struck James odd.
I… see. James thought.
Getting on a knee and lowering his head slightly downwards, James said aloud, “I, James Terrano, wish to take the second creator, Xerxes as my teacher.”
The eyes on the marble giant glowed blue for a second.
A deep voice sounded within the hall, its pitch low, and its vibrations majestic.
“What is my Philosophy?”
James's mind spun at rapid speeds, So it has given me the test of wisdom… the philosophical one is quite hard too. From the archives, of which many I peeked into in the past, there are three known tests, wisdom, emotion, and perseverance, the wisdom test is the most broad. Only a few have gotten legendary artifacts and skills from the others, and Philosophy is one yet to be gained from with an actual decent reward, so I need to think for myself here.
Only a moment passed, but James’s mind was in its prime and functioning at lightning speeds.
Xerxes, The Second Creator, was the one who had made The Towers that newly initiating cosmic sectors gain access to when they combine with the higher realm. Xerxes was originally born on a Giga-planet, one the size of thousands of Treya’s. The planet itself was so opportunistic and mystical, that those who were at the Apex were of Celestial Strength already before setting off into the stars, seeking further adventure.
The world, however, was corrupted from deep within its own infrastructure, the lack of good talented administration from the celestials led the world to be at constant war with itself. Xerxes' wife was also taken on the day of his wedding, furthermore, she was evilly taken away to a major clan far away for grooming. Xerxes' life was full of tragedy and hardship, yet he persevered through every obstacle like that of a novel protagonist.
Eventually, Xerxes with his monstrous combatant talent, killed his way across his massive world, spending countless years of killing just to get his wife back, in the end, he even killed all the celestials of the world, making himself a god-king.
That was until the world bridge connected to the planet and he ventured into the vast universe with his wife, making a name for himself across the entire universe.
Jame’s thoughts slowly came to a conclusion.
“Control one’s own fate.” Jame’s voice echoed in the halls, clear and loud.
The statue’s eyes glowed purple for a second, before golden lights sprouted from the weapons on the statue’s back, shooting forth and landing collectively before James. The Golden flashes landed on a marble altar in front of the statue with a decorated red pillow on top.
The lights gathered and congested until they formed into a book.
James walked up to the book on the altar and looked at its cover with great curiosity.
