"I'll ask again! What was that!" aero blinked as he turned to his recovering team. " I was testing your energy tolerance, I didn't think it would hurt that much. I was told it would pinch but our species isn't that used to invasive energy so we react worse than most," he said in a what can you do tone that kind of annoyed his team.
"I wouldn't say it hurt but if you can not do that again." tzilla stated to which Aero responded that depend on the situation." well let's pray shall we," anyway, what are our results then."
"not good," from what he understood they held some resistance towards energy due to their people's use of melody for generations. but only in the form of bursts, longer, and larger energy use risked hurting him. This was an educated guess Aero figured from the results he got from the test.
"anything big or powerful is out of the question for the time being, but there is still plenty you could probably learn." but the risk of using that was bad, at best severe energy burns. at worse energy explosions, which lead to being stuck in a bed for the rest of their lives or just death.
"Okay, I might prefer the second so how do we increase our resistance?" Inna stated. aero explained there was only really one method and they risked a lot using it at their current level. "well is there something that he can use and build up our resistance?"
"There is the mortal and immortal energy, as you build it up your body is reinforced if utilized correctly. but it one of the most complicated energies to use," from what he understood of the short explanation the helper was giving him. the mortal and immoral energy, as it turned required long turn active cultivation. one of the longest, but it paid off with the power to turn the heavens and earth.
"What's a haven and earth?" aero shrugged he was curious but didn't feel it was important enough for the moment. "I think you need a form of formula to wield this energy, I'd have to trade for it though."
"how much do I think we can cover part of the price," Gallia asked wondering who he was trading with. if it was aliens did she want to meet them? it hit her how strange her life was being where meeting aliens was an option.' nope that can be dealt with later,' she pushed the impactions of the realization off for the moment.
"uh, about thirteen of these carts," all of his team's jaws dropped while two of them started chocking." by the zalts and zaltess your jocking right!" aero shook his head," That's an incredible amount of money!"
"I could buy two to five houses with that!" of carrying sizes but still the amount of money was kind of heart-stopping. " where are we gonna get that money?" the team considered what kind of savings they had and how much they could put towards the formulas.
"I should say now that our money isn't required on a star system scale, much less the universal one. so we have to trade for those formulas." another more came out of someone but Aero didn't pay attention to that, instead. he asked if they could purchase thirteen carts. cause they could totally trade that.
'my lord do you intend to sell the creatures with the cart," that made the teen pause. selling carts and creatures yourself wasn't illegal as long as you went through the proper channels. but what were the challenges you used when you were selling off the planet." I believe we have to contact Baili," in response to this Lior asked if this meant they were heading back to the capital.
"oh no I'm sending a letter, we have other things to do including training for the space and others." that caught interest but Aero smiled and said they should continue don't the road. if they were recovered enough," yeah we're fine. but next time don't do something in the open like that."
"I could have taken anything that had tried," it would be a smear on the road when he was done. "anyway one of the things we have to prepare for is space's lack of gravity. the force that pulls up to the ground," he explained seeing the unasked question in Tzillia's eyes.
"to do that we need to practice underwater combat," he saw several of them wince. which made him pause," what's wrong it's just more training."
"I forgot but you dropped out of school, you didn't get a chance to due underwear live combat training."
"correct what's the problem?!" he wasn't going to show it but they were slightly worrying them. "well that means you never fought water creatures before and don't know how vicious they can be." aero nodded before asking when he said there were going to infected waters.
"That's just reckless, pointlessly so!"
"your right," Lior was the first to recover from their surprise, aero has shone to be very reckless and disregards consequences so it would surprise him when he showed cation. something he picked up from the glare he was giving them but he didn't say anything knowing he earned that reputation.

instead, they moved to the topic of what empty body of water they could practice. rivers were out there were usually populated not to mention their current would throw off their training. plus aero doubted there were any deep enough. so they moved on to uninhibited lakes, they didn't know the location or size of any.
when they change the topic the entire team was in agreement that they need to gather information and that the upcoming town was a good spot to start. it took four days for them to arrive at e leisurely pace, aero headed right to send off his letter to Baili. while half his team took care of their supplies and the other half got a map of bodies of water.
"I knew it wasn't going to be easy but really!" idit glared at the map before her as if her gaze might change what was written on it. " "This is going to take months!" Tzillia shared her irritation, they found a suitable body of water. in the country north, one that unfortunately had 'tense relations with Hopoth.
they would be at war if there wasn't several hostile creatures in and between the land wasn't such a threat to them both. one of the main reasons that most people knew, was how they viewed the best way to deal with males.
by worldwide standers, the people of Hopoth were very loose with their standards," "oh man I don't see Aero taking that well." Inna commended thinking of what she knew about males being supposed to act by the other country's beliefs. she honestly couldn't imagine him holding his tongue or fist, but she could see how he would stick first.
"oh yeah that's not going well, but it's the closet... so how should we move to the next one. this one was further but the country had a more formal reaction with there now, mostly trade and little else. As far as they knew but its belief around the male gender was better than the north. less likely of Aero starting something.
They found a couple more options before heading back to where the team parked their carts, there they got dropped into helping the rest of the team load the purchases into their carts. they finished up just as Aero returned from sending off the letter, he looked a little peeved but his clothes were still in their loose configuration so chances were he didn't get into a big fight.
" they doubted I need to send a letter to the capital," he was very glad he didn't address the letter to the leader directly, but instead to the head of the guard. it would have taken longer to get her to send the letter to the leader, but thankfully he managed to convince the women at the desk he was on a job for the head of the guard.
"so anything problems getting supplies?"
"no, but we are definitely low on funds had to haggle more than I should have." aero nodded and they spoke about the stops they would need to do for that before they spoke about places that meet their training requirements, the first and closet option that would take them north put a particular expression on aero's face.
"in my first year I meet someone from there, one of the worse fights I got into around that age." though could he really call it a fight as they refused to even lift their hands to defend themself? it let Aero get in several hits before people had to pull him off. it wasn't the last fight between them, as she refused to keep quiet about her beliefs and Aero didn't hold back from violence.
'wow I was a problem when I was younger... is she dead?' he wondered about the girl from the north. he hasn't seen her since the teachers had her removed from the school. as technically she was the one starting fights with by seeking the male hunter in train out.
far north under a snow-covered tree and between two white bird-like creatures, a girl with snow-like skin and carapace blinked her silver-tinted eyes. 'someone is talking about me,' she didn't get to think about it more when she noticed her prey coming closer.
"Anyway, I've also met other people, and generally I'm good going just about anywhere else. if nothing else I don't expect anyone to see punches coming." aero said with too big of a smile." I don't think we can let you just punch people," Lior commented. aero asked why not, he's punched plenty of people.
"I mean I'll try and hold back. I've been working on that so my reputation improves. but I don't want people to think I'll bend for them," he wasn't sure how he was supposed to reach such a balance with his reputation. but he likes to believe he's made some progress, 'I haven't just knocked people out in a while.' that was the progress he considered.
the teams spent the rest of the day discussing their goal and a general idea of how they would get there, driving their carts was out as they would take half a year if they were lucky. catching a ride on a giant winged creature would take less time, so they went with that and followed by planning out some kind of route and getting some kind of time frame.
even with cutting out weeks of travel time with winged creatures it still looked like this was going to be a long time since they were planning to put in about two weeks of training, plus travel time was about six weeks. more if something went wrong. the longest part of the journey would be over the ocean forest.
the number of trees and plant life that covered the planet was incredible, even there ocean had an immense amount of plants. staining the water with algae. you could barely see the water beneath them at the time. due to the number of study plants, there were bridges over the ocean.
not that many people used it in this day in age. not only did they take weeks to cross, but creatures also lived in the ocean trees. aero's been a scroll about them, cures that swam as well as they swung through three trees. with long limbs nimble fingers and scales as green as the trees, apparently, they were really pretty as well. scales used for decorations.
he might see them when the flying creatures had to rest for the night, as it wouldn't be a one-day trip even on the back of a giant winged creature. they would at best have to stop three times for the creature to rest and for them to stretch their legs. and other things.
"so the best place to get a ride over the ocean would be here and then well arrive around here where he can buy some more accurate maps and learn about the area more." they continued working on the travel plans the next day, followed by some training as aero refused to spend an entire day over a table staring at papers.
they worked out before going into rounds of sparring, in the breaks between the matches, idit brought up the matter of their money problems on the galactic level. "we're aware that we're going to have to work hard to get those formulas for heave and earth energy. but do we have some kind of plan for that?"
"not really I only have one thing to trade with them and its worth is partly unknown. " Xoqax had found little bits of information about the energy. but nothing that Aero could use in a fight or attract market attention. but still useful, like certain types of pride affected a person's will to live. something the young lord had his helper place a reminder on.
"I can't wait for Xoqax to figure out the exact kinds of pride." aero thought. but he put that thought off later and discussed their team working to get the money for thirteen carts. they might be able to sell those, depending on what Baili said. they would probably get a response in the next few days.
or really that was how long Aero was willing to wait. his team had a similar thought they cared a bit more about offending the leader. so if they left before a letter came they would leave instructions for the people who managed the town's mail and send a letter to Baili informing her of their immediate plans.
they spent those days training against each other, working up a sweat, and refining their skills. but no letter came for them, instead, a squad of knights on the back of a small-sized ain't creature did. "well that was subtle." aero mumbled as he felt all the stars on his marble skin. forcing on a more neutral expression and walking over to greet the knights.
Long story short there were here because the matter of exporting to the galaxy was the kind of thing that tipped the political balance. "I really don't like politics," Aero stated as the situation was explained.
