After few weeks in work Mat wanted to go for his first holidays in this year. This vacation like any he wanted to be peacfull but there was idea like thunder that something could go wrong. Peaceful guy only wanted to rest and didnt bother anything. Only once he wanted to be the mindless guy and get for what he paid for. He didnt have family but his friend(?) wanted to go mountain climbing. Week before they have some small party where everyone was celebrating Mat's promotion. Looking through the window he wanted to forget about it.
Like always party started and John said
- Hey I think everything is ready.
- Maybe but where are other guests? - asked Mat
- Dont worry they have almost one hour. - answered John
- What? Again? Do you remember what happened the last time? - asked Mat
- Yes and I told them to bring fire extingushers - said happy John.
Not answering Mat sit on the chair and started poring vodka. Guests can come but standard issues must be solved. After two shots with John he got up after hearing ringing bell. First was the punk couple known to Mat by Greg and Sylvie. First time he saw them he wanted to get them out and now the were his friends. Next bell ring was the couple from his work. They were in high spirits and very good looking. Another bell was for one of his exgirlfrinds to show and after some talking, Mat again defeated by her accepted fate and she come in. Music was low and good for talking. In this time Mat go to kitchen for something more to eat and to look for food in oven. John saw this and new friend will be there some time so he wanted to show off. After round of vodka later John wanted to show everyone his new creation. The punk pair and Mat's ex-girlfriend was agitated by this but new Mat friends wanted him to go on. If the guy has something to show then bring it on. New creation was looking like some blinking cake with anthenas. John told them that this machine should create cakes from nowhere. To show them his new invention in long run after taking next round of vodka he pressed button on controller. His invention took up 5 feet in the air and after pressing another button it maked some wierd noise creating simple cake. Everyone was dumbfounded by this. How? Why? John not asking anyone filled next round of liquor and by mistake he spilled some juice to controller. Controller started to smoke. Invention started to light up. After smoke dissapear everyone saw that invention had few light points on anthennas. Next was thunder and realesed lightning. It started first with TV and burned it. The new gaming console was the next target. People shouted and tried to escape. Mat entered in this moment.
- JOHN WHAT DID I TELL YOU ABOUT YOUR INVENTIONS??? - shouted Mat. Next lightning fired by device almost charred all the wall behind him.
- Sorry... we need to evacuate... - said John crawling to door.
Mat saw energy volley and ducked. Next lightning terminated few years old palm and scorched the floor. After some thinking Mat took out hammer and lightning later he started to attack his friends new "invention". Mat was staring at destroyed home and still burning palm. The ring bell didnt surprised him. The same police man as always.
- Did something happened because neighbours called that something is not... - said cop seeing destroyed hall.
- Everything and everyone is ok - answered Mat
- So no fleeing people and no accidents? - asked cop
- I dont think so... - said Mat
- Goodbye Matthew - said cop.
- Goodbye.
After closing door Mat started staring at John.
- It wasnt my fault - told John - Its...
Harold was cop in this small city many years. It was very peacfull place. But it changed some two years ago when those guys met. It was very hot day. Matthew had day of from work and was drinking beer. There was few people at this hour. On of them was John and he wanted to show his skills to someone. They started talking and later argiung about air conditioner and how to fix it. Before someone saw what was going on. There was loud bang and lots of smoke. People started paniking, shouting and fleeing. Fire extinguisher was used in the corner. It was first time when Harlod took them into custody. Now he wanted to go home to earlier end shift but he knew that nothing happened from almost month so he was looking at phone nervously. Phone started ringing so with sigh he answered.

- Police station Harlod Stevenson speaking with what can I help? - asked Harold.
- This is Andrew Lint. Mister Harold please come to Matthews house I heard screams, some people were running terrified from there. - said monotonous voice.
- Thank you I will look at it. - Again. I dont have time for this. Need to make it quick. With those words he took shortcut. After arriving and small talk with Matthew knowing that everyone is not hurt he turned back to the station to end his shift.
Some time later in the house Matthew and friends were ending cleaning John's mess. Only blackened wall and spherical shape on floor could tell what happened. Party started again.
- Where are your new friends from work? - asked John taking something to eat.
- They were screaming and I think they fled home - answered Greg holding drink.
Trying to change topic Mat asked - Do you guys want to come with us next week?
- Okay but what we do with him - said Sylvie glaring at John.
- Im peacefull and dont do anything I promise - said John nervously.
- Do you remember why I buyed that hammer? - said Mat threatening John - Its from time when you tried to fix microwave when I was at work. Who could have thought that it can walk and after your next modifications it wanted to take world - said Mat grinning with cold eyes.
- It was small mistake - answered sheepishly John - I wanted only that microwave was able to execute simple voice commands...
- Hey guys I recorded everything wanna check how our brave knight fought with evil? - said Sylvie chukling about something.
- Delete it - said Mat.
After party ended and almost everything was at right place Mat took shower and started searching internet. He had bad premonition she couldnt upload video. She deleted it when I was watching. Not long after checking browser.
He shouted - What?

Mirage - city where mc have house.
Old house - the big house was in past fishbone in throat of many clerks. People were happy first but after week they were gone. Some people from townhall
Matthew - main character. After troubles and relocations he got a deal. It was too good to be true because there was a house he could afford to buy.
John Rakens - friend of Mat. Average looking guy in glasses. His passion is building wierd devices.
Sylvie Collins and Greg Wilard - friends of Mat. They mostly are dressed in black sometime in leather clothes.
Harold Stevenson - police officer which have only few years to retirement and wanted peacfull and quiet in his city. Very high ranking officer in his earlys years.
Andrew Lint - Mat's neighboir. Good natured old man with beautiful and somewhat exotic garden.
Patrick Miller - Mat's friend from work. Lenient and easygoing guy.
Joshua Kirto - Mat's boss from general store. Big guy with enormous mostache. Friendly but on the other side strict guy.
Fred Snake - Mat's neighboir. Very stoic but somewhat shady character. Always in some high quality suit with golden watch and the briefcase.
