I've been in this world for a whole day now. Last night, I luckily managed to find a place that was safe enough for me to sleep. Today, my goal is to find a village, not only because I want a more comfortable place to sleep, but also because I want to learn more about this world. I'm walking without a specific direction in mind so I hope I'll end up somewhere safe at least.

After two more hours of walking, I finally stumbled across something…

"FOOD!"

There's a rabbit in front of me and It hasn't noticed me yet. How will I kill it though?

"Alexandria do I have anything I could use to kill that bunny?"

"I can't believe I'm having this discussion with A.I."

I know magic exists in this world, but I just can't imagine myself using it.

"God's voice? Hmm but Alexander is God, right?"

"THEN WHY DO YOU HAVE A FEMININE VOICE?"

Alex has way too much free time on his hands… doesn't he have anything more important to do as a god?

"Anyway…Alex, you mentioned something about a demon rabbit? Are they any different from rabbits in my world?"

[I don't know anything about the rabbits in your world, but demon rabbits travel in large colonies, and they also tend to get aggressive quickly ]

Seems like my unique skill only has knowledge from this world, but I suppose that's all I need for now.

"So… How do I cast magic?"

"And do I learn these incantations?"

I'm not the smartest, but I think that means that I don't have to learn new skills the way others do, because I can just ask Alex for the incantation I'm looking for. She said she knows every incantation I am capable of doing at my level, Which should also mean that the stronger I get, the more magic I can use.

"So can you teach me the incantation for a simple Ice attack spell?"

[yes, to cast the spell, you have to imagine mana going in the direction you want it to go, then say 'glacies iecit']

I stretched my arm out and made a pistol with my fingers, I imagined mana, coming out of my finger and directed it towards the rabbit.

The mana became a huge block of thick ice and it was perfectly aimed at the rabbit, but… It seems like I used too much strength, the rabbit was not only dead, but it was also unrecognizable. The force of my magic was so strong that it blew the rabbit to bits.

"WOAAAAHH THAT WAS AMAZING, ALEXANDRIA DID YOU SEE THAT? I USED MAGIC, I'M AMAZING"

[hmph…]

It might've been overkill, but it was still the first magic I cast in this world, I'm calling that spell 'frozen bullet'.

Whilst celebrating the use of my first spell like it was some sort of anniversary, I suddenly noticed a bunch of rabbits with their eyes glowing red coming towards me from the distance.

"Alex, what's going on with those rabbits?"

[If you attack a demon rabbit, all its surrounding family members will be notified and chase the attacker until they either lose him or kill him, that's also when their eyes will stop glowing red.]

Tsk… What do I do? I can't run because they'll just keep chasing me until I run out of stamina, I have to fight. But you know what, this might even be a good time for me to practice my combat skills and to maybe even learn some new spells.

For about an hour straight, I fought the demon rabbits, and in the meantime, I learned 3 new spells, Ignited bullet which is the same as a frozen bullet but with the fire element. Zephyr bullet, with the wind element. And earth bullet, using the earth element.

I just finished the last one of the demon rabbits and I feel like I got a lot better at using magic, but it's a pain in the ass that I always have to repeat the incantations. I think I've said the word "bullet" like a hundred times already in the last hour.

"Hey Alex I have a question, you said we're connected right?"

[Correct.]

"Does that mean you know what I'm thinking?"

[Correct.]

"Do you think you could do my incantations for me then?"

[…I do not know]

If I could get Alex to do my incantations for me, it would make fighting much easier for me and it would also save a lot of time, giving me the advantage in fights.

"Alex try doing an incantation."

I thought about which spell I wanted to use and visualized where I wanted it to go, I aimed at a rock in the distance. And it happened, a zephyr bullet just strong enough to destroy the rock, without going overkill and without having to do the incantation, shot out of my finger. My experiment worked, This will make life much easier.

"We did it, Alex. Good job, I'll be counting on you from now on, partner."

[Bwah-hah-hah]

I lit a small fire and ate some of the demon rabbits which I had not completely blown into bits,

"Mmm, delicious. I feel like I haven't eaten anything decent in days, oh wait I haven't."

After eating my fill I decided that now was a good time to continue my journey again, but… A short, slim figure, which looked human approached.

"Hey Alex, can you see if it's human?"

[I can only see what you see. However, The aura I sense is not that of a human.]

"Does that mean we're in trouble?"

[I do not sense any murderous intent either so you should be safe.]

I should be hmm… ah well, I guess I finally found someone that might be able to tell me more about this world, so I guess I'll relax.

The figure came closer, and before I knew it a small and frail girl with torn clothes and dry skin stood before me.

"Please help me, big sis," (???)

Big S-sis? That's not important now, a kid shouldn't look like this, what could have happened?

Before I asked the girl any questions, I reached for a waterbag which I filled yesterday at the small puddle of water and I gave it to her.

"Here, drink this."

Hey Alex, you can hear me, right?

[Correct, what's wrong?]

Can I use any healing magic? This girl seems pretty badly wounded.

[Leave it to me.]

We healed the girl and waited for her to finish drinking her water, I just noticed she has fox ears and a tail. Is she a cosplayer or something?

[Note: She's a member of a race called "beastin", they resemble humans but they have animal characteristics, they can transform into a more beastlike form of themselves, making them extremely powerful.]

"What's your name?"

"Deema" she answered

"What's wrong, Deema? Why do you need help?" (Amon)

"Our village is being attacked by adventurers" (Deema)

"Adventurers? As in humans?"

"Y-yes…"

Hmm, I really think I should go, this should be a good opportunity for me to learn more about this world. I'll also ask Deema for more information while going to her village.

"Okay, let's go Deema. Can you walk?"

"Yes, T-thankyou, big sis"

"How many of them are attacking your village by the way?"

"6 of them."

"Doesn't your village have anyone that can fight?"

"No, we live on the outskirts of Savania, so we're not very strong."

Savania? Could it be the name of the Beastin kingdom? I'll have time to ask later, more importantly, I can see the village in the distance.

"Deema I'm gonna go on ahead, I'll make sure your village is safe by the time you get there, okay?"

I ran as fast as my homunculus body could and also used speed magic, which allowed me to get to the village in only a matter of time, when I got there, I saw blood, lots of it. Many beastin on the ground with wounds from both swords and magic.

I finally found the adventurers Deema was talking about, they're surrounding a beastin girl with wolf ears.

I used ignited bullet one of the adventurers, and it created a hole in his chest, as the rest of his body was on fire. He immediately dropped to the floor and the other five backed off.

"Tom are you okay?!" "TOM" "How dare you kill tom!" the adventurers said.

"Aren't you guys doing the same to this beastin village?"

"Who cares about a bunch of lowly beastin? They're better of as our slaves anyway."

Hmm, I can see what's going on, humans with weird fetishes are probably kidnapping these beastin girls and turning them into sex workers or slaves. Aaahaaa, humans never fail to surprise me.

"I'll give you guys 3 seconds to go away, or you'll all meet the same fate as your friend Tom."

3 of the adventurers seem unsure but the other 2 charge forward.

This time I used my earth bullet because I didn't get the chance to use it much against the demon rabbits.

"N-no incantations? How is that possible? W-who are you?"

I grin to strike fear in them as they jump on their horses and run away.

I see an old beastin man approaching me

"I am Denzal and I am the village leader, allow us to thank you for saving our village."

"Nice to meet you, Denzal. I'm Amon."

Suddenly the whole village stood before me, and they bowed down in front of me. I then felt something pulling on my shirt, it was Deema, she grabbed my hand and didn't let go of it.

"Thanks for keeping your promise, big sis."

She's gonna keep calling me big sis forever, right? I mean I have nothing down there so I'm not a boy either. But do I really resemble a girl that much?

"It's already dark, please stay here for the night so we can properly thank you for saving our village tomorrow."

"oh, sure. Thanks."

"…"

"Ahhh, I slept well."

This hut isn't amazing or anything, but compared to sleeping under a tree this place feels like heaven.

"KNOCK KNOCK"

someone is knocking on my door, who could that be? "Come in".

"Ahh, you're awake I see, how did you sleep?"

"I slept great, thanks for letting me stay here."

"Don't worry about it, you're our savior after all."

"I'm not that amazing, village leader."

"Please, call me Denzal."

"..."

"Anyways, I came to tell you to come to the living area once you are ready, the people of the village would like to thank you for yesterday."

"Sure, I'll be there in a bit."

"..."

I went inside and saw some of the village elders.

they immediately went on their knees once they saw me.

"What could we ever do to thank you?" (Old lady)

"Thanks to you my daughter didn't get kidnapped, I can not thank you enough for this. (Old man)

"Please, stand up. I only did what I thought was right at the time."

The villagers stood up as they all looked at me, waiting for me to come up with a reward I wished for.

"..."

"Well, for starters... I'd like to learn more about this world."

The elders looked at each other in confusion.

"You mustn't be so humble, are you sure that's all you want, young man?" an old lady said.

"At the moment, information is more valuable for me than anything else could be."

"Okay, I will not ask you about your situation, and I will give you as much information as I can." (Denzel)

"Yea... thanks for understanding."

"My knowledge is not that broad because I've never been outside of Savania, but I'll tell you everything I know," Denzal said.
