Who killed Cock Robin

Who killed Cock Robin

In the dream pool that resembled a shell, numerous bubbles pushed against the surface. Stella, with trepidation in her eyes, thought she glimpsed someone behind them.

"I remember everything now. This is what I said to you back then," Aventurine's voice echoed, filled with an unsettling calmness.

Stella cautiously followed Aventurine into the room, each step laden with tension and unease. As she pushed aside the bubbles, a wave of intense fear washed over her, causing her pupils to dilate dramatically.

Stella's eyes widened in horror as she stared at the figure in the pool—it was Robin's lifeless body! Her once beautiful and gentle face was now pale and contorted, devoid of any vitality. Most terrifying of all was the gaping wound in her chest, a massive tear from which streams of colorful memory essence flowed, spilling into the dream pool.

Stella's stomach churned violently, and she barely managed to suppress the urge to vomit. She couldn't believe the nightmarish scene before her eyes.

Suddenly, Aventurine's voice cut through the oppressive atmosphere, low and ominous: "Look, my friend! The game has already begun..."

Stella whirled around, fixing Aventurine with a gaze filled with fury and confusion.

Unperturbed, Aventurine continued, "Make a deal with me. You can't refuse..."

Stella bit her lip hard, struggling to contain the tumultuous emotions within her.

"There's no reason," she managed to say through gritted teeth.

"And no room for negotiation," Aventurine replied coldly.

[Robin: I... died?]

[Sunday: Sister... you bastard! You damn scoundrel! What have you done?!]

[Aventurine: Calm down, Mr. Sunday. None of this has happened yet. I can assure you that in my original plan, killing your sister was not an option.]

[Topaz: Please remain calm, Mr. Sunday. I understand your anger, but you must know that the company desires peace. We wouldn't resort to such methods to handle family matters.]

[Sunday sat on the table, clenching his fists tightly. He slammed them down in rage, understanding that this was just a viewing, but unable to suppress the fury and anxiety in his heart. His sister... No! She must return to the family immediately and receive Harmony's protection.]

[Robin: Brother... don't get upset. I'm fine now... This is just a vision of what might happen in the future.]

[From a distant galaxy where she was performing, Robin felt a chill run down her spine. Nevertheless, she chose to comfort her brother first, reminding herself that nothing had happened yet.]

Meanwhile, in a house in Penacony...

"How could it end like this?!" Sparkle exclaimed, her beautiful eyes wide with anger. She stared in disbelief at the now-black screen of her phone. With a swift motion of her arm, she hurled the device at the floor. A loud "crack" resonated as the screen shattered into pieces.

But this wasn't enough to quell Sparkle's rage. She lifted her foot, clad in a wooden clog, and stomped on the broken screen several times, as if trying to vent all her frustration. She muttered under her breath, "I wasn't done watching my entertainment... This is so unsatisfying! How am I supposed to feel any elation like this?"

After a long moment, she suddenly chuckled and put on her mask.

"Oh well... But if the shadows behind the Xianzhou Luofu Celebration and all the hidden secrets have been exposed, I suppose I should consider moving to a new location... Hehehe."

Meanwhile, the Astral Express hovered above Jarilo-VI.

"What do they mean by 'to be continued'?!" March 7th exclaimed angrily as she put away her phone. "It felt like everything was about to start! The story of this young lady and the rest of the crew was about to get exciting!"

"Don't be impatient, little March," Himeko consoled her. "If that's the destined future, we'll encounter it sooner or later. For now, we should focus on what's right in front of us."

"That's right," Welt nodded in agreement. "The information we received was quite overwhelming."

Looking at the snow-covered planet, Himeko sighed, "After thousands of years, Jarilo-VI has become like this..."

"Ah, that white, snowy planet is our destination?" March 7th asked in surprise.

"That's correct. I'm sure this Trailblaze mission won't be easy," Welt said, glancing at Pom-Pom.

"Spatial readings are abnormal. The Astral Rail stability has changed from seven days to an indefinite period, until the anomaly is resolved," Pom-Pom reported seriously.

"Anomaly? What does that mean?" March 7th asked, confused.

Himeko explained earnestly, "To use a terrestrial train analogy, it's as if the tracks suddenly broke off ahead, with a bottomless, terrifying abyss below... In such a situation, there's nothing we can do but apply emergency brakes."

March 7th sighed resignedly, "Ah, why does this keep happening? No need to ask, the cause of this anomaly must be that... again."

Welt replied calmly, "Indeed. According to our detection results, the culprit behind this anomaly is once again the 'Stellaron'."

Himeko furrowed her brow, "There are too many unsolved mysteries surrounding the 'Stellaron'. Even beings as powerful as the Aeons can't fully analyze it."

Welt reassured her, "However, you needn't worry too much. This isn't the first time we've encountered Stellaron interference on our route. Although we don't understand the internal nature and operating principles of the 'Stellaron', we can still find ways to counter its negative effects."

Himeko's gaze swept across everyone in the Express, then she said solemnly:

"For this Trailblaze mission, I'd like to entrust the responsibility to Stella, March 7th, and Dan Heng. Is that alright with you three?"

"Yay! A heart-freezing big adventure! Let's go!" March 7th cheered.

Three days later, as the trio searched for Master Svarog in the lower levels of Belobog, they suddenly heard their phones ring.

March 7th pulled out her phone excitedly, "Stella, Dan Heng, a new story has started! Let's watch it before we continue working!"

"Alright!" Stella agreed without hesitation, spotting a clean trash can nearby. Without a second thought, she climbed into it, closed the lid, and took out her phone. She began watching the show, enjoying the sense of security the trash can provided.

"Stella's growing more fond of trash cans... We'll have to clean them thoroughly for her next time!" March 7th said, throwing up her hands in exasperation.

"It's a rather peculiar habit..." Dan Heng commented quietly.
