CH 15 – KRONOS (1)

Both types of blood entered his heart at the same time by the previous ratio.

His blue eyes gradually changed their color to purple.

Once they completely changed, Feng Luotian’s aura turned to an amethyst-color gaseous flame with golden lightning sparkling around the flame.

“Yah!!” Feng Luotian shouted out, and his lightning-flame aura busted out scorching everything within the room to dust. From his body, lightning struck upward leaving a huge hole on the ceiling, then continued to the sky changing the weather in the process.

The rain started to fall. Feng Luotian deactivated his Theríon as he heavily panted nonstop while kneeling on the ground.

After catching his breath and his countenance getting better, Feng Luotian slowly stood up. He activated his Theríon again and looked at his hands covered by the lightning-flame aura, he emotionally roared: “Hahaha!! My very own bloodline!! The one and only!!

Staring at his own reflection from the puddle on the floor, Feng Luotian touched his eyes: “Let’s call it Purple-eyes Heavenly Demon Phoenix bloodline."

Looking up at the sky, while facing the high heaven, Feng Luotian domineeringly shouted: "With this ability, I will become a God Immortal without a doubt!! Those who dare to touch anyone I wish to protect shall die without mercy!!”

Lightning danced within the cloud as thunder roared out a sound.

It seemed like heaven had responded to Feng Luotian some way.

Feng Luotian turned his attention back to his body: “Let’s see what kind of ability I got.” He then fully activated his Theríon and tried to see what his new ability would be.

In the following moment, two lines of words and a square symbol made of light appeared floating in the air right in front of him.

Feng Luotian furrowed his brows, confused: “KRONOS? What is this? If this is really a special ability of my new bloodline, then it is completely different from what Little Yun got back then.”

‘Little Yun’ was his only disciple and also the first bloodline interfuser in his past life.

Feng Luotian placed his right hand on the square symbol of light.

After that, the floating words of light changed.

What happened next gave huge bewilderment to Feng Luotian who had lived for more than five hundred years.

The user can see the momentum and projectile of every object within 20 meters.

“!?” No words came out for a while. Even the Young Emperor could not find an explanation for this.

Feng Luotian: “Can this be called a special ability of a bloodline? A power to accurately know oneself? At least there is something familiar: Father’s Last Dance Curse and Mother’s Momentum Eyes. But as expected, the original abilities’ powers have greatly fallen until they are barely usable. Now I have to collect 10 souls within 5 minutes? It was only 1 soul before. And the time limit should be at about 30 minutes at One Fang.”

To collect souls was to kill someone and refine their souls. Feng Luotian needed to kill 10 people just to raise his cultivation for one level for just 5 minutes. This ability literally made him out to be a ruthless murderer.

Feng Luotian continued: “And my Momentum Eyes has 20 meters range before it was about 250 meters at One Fang. Anyway, there must be something worth sacrificing these two abilities. Level: One Fang 413%? Upgrade? Let’s try then.”

Feng Luotian tapped at the word [Yes].

Level: Two Fangs (313% >> Upgrade? [Yes] or [No])

“What?!!”

Sensing his own cultivation level, Feng Luotian became even more shocked now: “I broke through to Two Fangs just like that? Does the bottleneck not exist with my new bloodline?”

> Cultivation’s [bottleneck] was a stagnation every cultivator had to face when they reached the peak of their current level.

>

> At that peak, to break through to the next level without any mishaps, cultivators needed [comprehension] which was to comprehend the profundity of their own bloodline and Theríon. One would have to capture an essence of what their next level would be before they decided to attempt their advancement.

>

> There was also another part of the breakthrough process. It was a [modification].

>

> When cultivators realized that they had completely comprehended the profundity, a modification was usually how they burst their Theríon all at once, emptying their soul core. After that, they would use their comprehension to adjust, improve, or remodel their whole Theríon, and then put all of it back into their soul core to complete the process of cultivation level advancement.

>

> All of these processes required a tremendous amount of time and effort. One would need to be extremely focused and concentrated without any disturbance, or else, they would encounter a disaster.

>

> Once they had done it wrong, after they put their Theríon back to their soul core, the Theríon would either rebel or explode, causing their soul core to suffer damage, which led to two results: energy deviation or death.

>

> This would be a usual process for cultivation level advancement.

>

> However, there was what they called a [trigger].

>

> A trigger usually came by emotions, such as anger, fear of death, or will to protect those one loved, et cetera. The trigger would push one’s limit and let them be able to advance in their cultivation even before they could completely comprehend their own bloodline.

>

> Furthermore, they could skip such troublesome processes and directly break through to their next level. Nevertheless, the aftermath of such advancement could also leave a scar inside their soul core and would take effect later in their cultivation path, lessen their potential to grow in the future.

One obvious example of the cultivation advancement by trigger was when Feng Luotian got eaten by the Wight Wolf. Both Sun Wuji and Mei Yue’er experienced a traumatic surge of emotion, pushing their own limit until they broke through to their next cultivation level.

Fortunately, with an incredible effect from the energy light wisp of Eternal Dao Lotus Seed at that time, the scars that would subsequently block their talents in cultivation were completely healed.

Feng Luotian stated as he enjoyed this moment: “The percentage of 413% at the start should be whatever energy I have absorbed from the monster cores everyone gave me. Since it can be upgraded again, let’s try more.”

Feng Luotian tapped at the word [Yes] again and again.

Level: Three Fangs (113% >> Upgrade? [Yes] or [No])

Level: Four Fangs (13%)

With that, Feng Luotian effortlessly became a Four Fangs Fighter. He started to grin and began to laugh like a madman: “Hehe. Hehe. Hahaha!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! I don’t mind however those two innate abilities become anymore.”

This was heaven-defying enough to blow anyone in this world out of their mind. Just absorbing enough energy and he could breakthrough at any moment without going through any of the troublesome aforementioned processes.
