|Chapter 2| Slivery Moon

Violent waves crashed onto the rocks covered in blood washing away the stain into the ocean. A young girl probably only ten years of age, braids their long hair the colour of fresh snow. Dark purple gloomy eyes glance around the blood bath as a frown grew on their face. Shiny bright on the kid was the silvery moon lighting up the dark midnight sky. Mountain that reaches for the sky surround the cosy little bay blocking out lookers from the beautiful view. Tree swayed in the breeze as the kid sang the lullaby to all the predators in the dark.

“Flowers glow on all night,

May your soul rest tonight,

Burn all those who that have no clue,

Make them all so blue~~~”

Demons and monsters lurk in the shadows as they listen to the sweet tone as they move along to the beat. Even though they tear the throat of children that lurk to close to their home. Young but not so naïve knew of the red eyes staring holes in their back but pay it no mind. She had more things on her mind that were more important than them.

Alone she was no family, no friends to call her own but they were breathing and laughing not so long ago. Death was not new to her but someone close was a whole new deal to her. It was karma, wasn’t it? Her species a siren that lure all who dare step in their ocean to their death. On her mother side she was a powerful witch who could destroy many lands. She was just like the monsters and demons that surround her though she just like them. She didn’t mind if people call her a monster, demon etc.

Suddenly, she leaps up and headed toward the darkness that had become her home. Monster welcome her back, as she wanders further into the treeline as the large trees loomed over her. Slowly, making her way back to the village she picked up some herbs hidden in the lush forest. She soon reached a small fishing village off the coast of the Creal Ocean. Lanterns still illuminating dirty cold streets, not a noise could be heard. ‘Weird’ she though as she slowed and hide in the shadows. Even at when the moon is at its peek the drunken men and women sing and shout all night long. When she smelt the ever so similar scent of iron made her freeze to the spot. Her eyes darted around to find the source of the smell every second maker her heart spike. Blood covered walls with bodies parts scattered all through the empty streets.

She may be able to take humans, but she knows this is not the work of a human. Shown by the limbs ripped clean off and the sense of magic in the air; though some humans have magic has a different feel to it. She stood her ground as she continues to find the new predator. Speaking of the devil, a tall figure marched down the bloody street with long darken blades in both of his hands. Midnight black hair slobby pulled into a ponytail revealing slivery eyes with a tint of blue. His skin was more tanned though it looks like he hadn’t seen the sun in years. Painfully, he grew closer and closer she was no fool she would not be able to take down the man.

“Come out of hiding!” his voiced not as deep as she though it would be. She still hides in the darkness watching with hawk his as the man. She bites down on her lip until the sweet liquid filled her taste buds. “If you come out now, I’ll spare your life” his voiced betrayed him as it was obvious, he was lying. She let out a giggle that made even the older man freeze and darted around to find her. Even if she died, she would have some fun~. “My my what are you doing here … monster” She added a bit too much malice than she meant to, but it hit a nerve. He frowned his brows and straightened up more and murder intent seep through the air. ‘I’m so fucked’
