At the entrance of the tomb, the teacher stood before his students, explaining the importance of scouts in the dungeon. "Scouts are imperative for the pro-raiders to safely navigate the dungeon and create a map," he said. "Your task is to report any monsters you encounter and whether there is a boss room."
The teams separated and began their exploration. Valor and his teammates stood ready in their practical training gear - sturdy boots, cargo pants with pockets, a utility belt with essential items, a lightweight t-shirt adorned with the academy emblem, a protective vest, sturdy gloves, and an ear-piece for communication. Each student was given a weapon of their choice, but Valor decided to rely on his fists.
Kim Minho looked at Valor with concern. "Are you sure you'll be okay without a weapon?" he asked.
Valor glanced down at his hands, remembering the fight he had with a wolf and a lycanthrope. He shook off the images and looked up at his teammate. "Yeah, trust me!"
The teacher counted down, and the team rushed into the dungeon. Kim Minho was in charge of defending the team, Ito Akiko was responsible for mapping the area, and Valor was tasked with recording information on any monsters they encountered.
The team moved quickly through the tomb, encountering only F-Rank rat monsters. Kim Minho's abilities allowed him to scare them off easily, and Ito Akiko's "Pathfinder" skills helped her navigate the dungeon efficiently. Finally, they reached the boss room, where a giant iron door stood closed before them.
Valor scribbled some notes in his notebook. "Alright, we're done here. Let's get out."
Just as he finished speaking, the door behind them creaked open. A giant hand reached out from the pitch-black room and grabbed Ito Akiko's hair pulling her into the room.
Ito Akiko's scream echoed through the room as the Giant pulled her inside and slammed the door shut behind them. Valor and Kim Minho didn't hesitate and rushed in after her.
As they entered, lanterns hanging on the walls flickered to life one by one, illuminating the dimly lit room. In front of them stood a towering monster with sea-green skin and a woolen outfit straight out of medieval times. It held Ito Akiko by her hair in one hand and a massive club in the other.
Blood dripped down Ito Akiko's forehead, and her eyes darted around the room in terror. Valor activated his communication device and called out to the teacher for help, but all he got was static. Kim Minho unsheathed his sword and charged at the Giant. Before Valor could stop him, the monster swung its club, sending Kim Minho crashing into the wall with a sickening thud.
As the situation unfolded, a screen appeared in front of Valor's face.

Valor gritted his teeth and clenched his fists, and the wind in the room picked up, making the lanterns flare up.
Valor leaped at the Giant and jumped off its leg, propelling himself further into the air. He snatched Ito Akiko from the Giant's grip and held her close as they fell to the ground. When they landed, he placed her next to Kim Minho, who was struggling to get back up.
"Come at me, big ugly!" Valor shouted as he ran in circles around the giant, dodging its wild swings. With each hit, the ground shook, and small craters formed. But Valor noticed the monster's swings were gaining speed and power, making it more difficult to evade. As he continued to run, a swing came straight at him, forcing him to jump over it with reflexes he hadn't had before.
As three minutes ticked by, Valor did his best to distract the giant while also evading its attacks. But the strain of the fight was taking its toll on him, and exhaustion was setting in. Then he ran through a small cavity created by the giant's club, he tripped, and panic set in as a swing came at him, hitting him hard in the stomach. Blood poured from his mouth, and Valor was forced to the ground.
The giant lifted its club, preparing to strike again, but suddenly Valor felt a burst of energy.
[Quick Getaway: Activated]
The character gains a brief burst of speed when hit by an enemy, allowing them to escape from danger.
Valor looked at the screen, on the verge of passing out, and smiled. He struggled back to his feet and ran with even more intensity than before, dodging and weaving through the giant's legs. The confused monster hesitated, not swinging its club at all. Meanwhile, Kim Minho fell unconscious, and the giant started to stumble. Each time Valor passed through its legs, it grew more and more entangled.
Finally, the door began to open, revealing the teacher and a few pro-raiders from the school. Valor charged toward his teammates and lifted them up, struggling to carry them out of the room. A raider rushed over to help, and together they made it out of the tomb, quickly ushered to the infirmary for treatment.
By the time they reached the infirmary, Valor was exhausted and bleeding heavily. He could feel himself slipping away as the notifications flashed before his eyes.
"[Quest Complete!]"
"[Level Up!]"
"[Level Up!]"
Valor read the notifications, feeling a sense of pride and accomplishment before he finally passed out.
When he awoke, the notifications were still there. He could hear a nurse yelling from somewhere that he had woken up. After pressing the quest complete button, a new screen appeared.
"[Reward - Inventory]"
Inventory: Store up to 5 items in your own personal storage; take them out anytime and anywhere.
Valor smiled at the thought of having his own storage space and turned to see the teacher and a doctor enter the room. They both looked at him with concern, and the doctor began to check his vitals. The teacher approached Valor and asked how he was feeling.
"Fine, I guess," Valor replied, still feeling a bit woozy.
"Well, that's good," the teacher scratched the back of his head, "You've been unconscious for three days."
"Three days?!" Valor sprung up in his bed but settled back down quickly, "How are the other two?"
The teacher assured him that his teammates were doing alright, and the doctor finished checking his vitals before leaving the room. Taking a moment to himself, Valor pulled out his phone to see a flurry of texts from his worried father. He quickly responded, letting his dad know that he was okay.
The teacher looked at Valor again, explaining that they would be asking him a few questions. As he left, Valor looked around the room to make sure he was alone before whispering, "Status."
The stats appeared on his screen, and he was pleased to see that he had reached level three. Underneath his stats was a new message:
"Points to Allocate: 2"
"Points?" Valor scratched his head, a bit confused, "Put both into Charm."
As he spoke, his charm stat changed to three. As he was examining his new stats, there was a knock at the door, and Valor looked over to see two men wearing suits walk in.
