Kel woke up first, apparently, but when he went to wake up Jack, he noticed he wasn’t there, so Jack must’ve woken up first and left. Kel called out Jack’s name and Jack responded from somewhere really close to him
“Quiet down, would you? My head hurts from that meteorite knocking us out… wait, where are you? Where am I?”
Jack started panicking. After he woke up, he realized he was in a completely different place, somehow still talking to Kel. He was in a completely black place, but he could see himself just fine. He wanted to be back with Kel, talking face to face, not from wherever.. this was. As he visualized their backyard, it literally formed around him. He gasped in surprise, prompting Kel to ask what happened
“I just visualized the backyard, and it just formed around me, including the meteorite!” Jack responded, still in awe
“Hang on, visualized?” Kel was thinking and talking aloud. “The thing said too many interactions, Jack is in a dark place where he can visualize things, and talk to me from very close, like IN MY HEAD!?!? JACK I KNOW WHAT HAPPENED!!!!!”
“Jack, the thing fixed the ‘too many interactions’ by removing one of them!”
Jack didn’t like where this was going, but guessed anyway.

“It fused us so there was only one interaction?!?”
“That’s what it feels like…” Kel replied, barely paying attention
“Hang on, lets ignore all of the fusion stuff for now-” Kel began
“HOW. HOW DO WE IGNORE THIS. BECAUSE WE ARE ONE PERSON RIGHT NOW AND I’M NOT EVEN SURE IF I’M REAL ANYMORE!” Jack yelled, causing a headache in Kel’s brain.
‘Listen. It already happened. There’s not much we can do about it now, so stop worrying about it” Kel said, swiping at the air in front of him.
“It’s not working…” Kel said suddenly
“What isn’t?” Jack asked, confused
“The status menu, what else?” Kel replied, still swiping and tapping the air
“Oh yeah, there’s usually something like that in a situation like this..” Jack said, also thinking about status screens
A status screen appeared in front of Jack, and by extension, in Kel’s mind. (I don’t know how to do the blue boxes, so none of that for now)

“Uhhh, [Identify]- Whoa, what is that voice?” Jack said, as a voice that wasn’t his own said the word Identify.
“Oh, I’ve read that in a book somewhere! Based on the book, it’s called the Voice of the World, and it speaks once you use a skill for the first time, something about keeping the skill in your head, if I remember right.” Kel said, massaging his head from the Voice.
“Well then we’d better get this one out of the way right now. [Soul Swap: Jack]” Jack said
“Wait! YOU CAN’T JUST-” Kel said, then immediately blacked out, while Jack felt like he had just woken up from a long nap
