Zi Tao was doing his best to keep the villagers calm. After Zi Muyue started taking objects out of a mysterious ring, the townsfolk started to crowd around the city woman.
"Say, miss have you reached the martial beginner realm?" The young boys and girls asked innocently. In this world, everyone including children had some entry knowledge concerning cultivation. It wasn't always necessarily accurate information, however. The kids here had heard many tales from their uneducated parents and all thought that the next realm provided omnipotent abilities.
Zi Muyue who wasn't good with children, to begin with, snorted. If simply being in the martial beginner realm allowed one to control the laws of physics she wouldn't the need the ring on her finger. Sure she'd heard of evildoers born with space martial spirits but she wasn't allotted with such ridiculous advantage.
Still, trying to enlighten this mob of country bumpkins wouldn't cause harm to anybody.
She looked at the group of runny nose brats and asked:
"Ever heard of storage rings?"
She tried to explain patiently how the artifact worked. But she soon gave up when she realized that the benighted riffraff would need more time to process the information she was providing. The children were untaught and the adults boorish for the most. Most of these people had never seen martial spirits, so advanced items such as storage rings were probably too hard to conceptualize.
"Storage rings" or "storage pendants" were spiritual tools. Those accessories were used to store all sorts of objects and weapons as the name suggested. Zi Muyue wasn't sure how the object was produced but she knew that no one in Thousand Rains town was capable of crafting one.
She could probably count the number of people with such an item in the city. Only the privileged and powerful were able to secure and protect articles obtained from auctions after all.
"Mr. Chang, I think it's time to call it a day." Zi Muyue said as she suddenly felt her fleeting disposition to entertain the rustic mountain dwellers sap. She became accustomed to giving commands to this quick-witted man during their travel. As a man, he couldn't qualify to even enter her eyes. He wasn't strong but he was an efficient minion; fearful but also useful.

Zi Chang who didn't need to be hinted twice hurried to disperse the uncouth group of hunters after whispering a few words to his boss who nodded in approval.
The latter proposed to the visitors to follow him when he noticed the arrival of two youngsters from outside the gates.
Zi Tao was nervous and excited due to the arrival of the strangers. His mood and feelings were already in a mess so he stayed after noticing the unconventional way these two youngsters entered.
"Big brother, what's the matter?" Zi Qian asked as she also turned to look in the direction he faced.
At that moment, most of the villagers had already left the place. When the group of youngsters arrived, they saw the bronze carriage, the horses and the group of armed men.
"What's going on here?" The young man who just arrived inquired with a prudent tone. He was holding the hand of a very pretty young girl.
"Ming'er!" Zi Qian was finally able to make out the traits of the boy.
"Who's that?" The man at her side grew somewhat curious after noticing the expression on her face.
"Huh?" The two elders and the group of retainers also stopped walking. They stared at the boy and girl for a moment before looking towards Zi Qian.
Zi Ming was overjoyed after hearing that familiar voice.
"Little aunt!" He exclaimed pleasantly.
Zi Ming wanted to rush and hug the woman when he noticed the elegant and dignified man at her side.
"Is that?..." Zi Ming had pictured this infamous young master Haofeng for several months. He wasn't sure but had a feeling that it was this young man at present.
"You two come and greet our visitors in a hurry!" Zi Tao broke the silence before his son could make up his mind.
Zi Ming snapped out of his daze instantly. He still had yet to let go of Zi Fei's hand at that moment.
The purple-haired girl was feeling somewhat apprehensive. She was smart and had already realized who these people were.
She knew she wasn't doing anything wrong, but Zi Ming's father had been awaiting this juncture for a long time; she didn't want to attract unneeded attention on her or cause problems. However, in the current situation, the two of them were the center of attention.
Zi Ming and Zi Fei walked together toward his aunt and her fiancé. The two of them were at the back of the group and only protected by several guards at this moment.
After Zi Ming had shouted his aunt's nickname, Zi Haofeng and his attendants had relaxed. Nevertheless, to Zi Ming and the young girl at his side, this group of people didn't appear less daunting.
