Yavxeroq felt Genzo's killing intent and he is scared because of how much killing intent overflowing inside the barrier, and he started slashing him with more power.

Genzo's clothes are covered with his barrier so he won't have to worry about his clothes. He deflected one of Yavxeroq's slashes and hit him, he did not expect that he would deflect it.
