Chapter 3-Admission
After a couple seconds of silence, many professional looking people ran up to Ares fighting to offer him admissions to their schools.
Suddenly, a seemingly average old man stood up and said,"Control yourselves! You are to give out admissions once the tests have been finalized."
Then a robed man who was about to give an admission to Ares yelled,"You're just an old man, what power do you have?!"
The robed man brought up his hands and tried casting wind magic to blow the old man away, but suddenly the old man made the robed man go flying 10 meters from afar with just a flip of his hand.
"A mere mortal tries to challenge me, how amusing.", said the old man as he sat back down.
Immediately, the crowd gave up as they were no match for him.
After a couple hours the tests were finally finished and unlike Ares' expectation, only one old man came up to Ares to offer him an admission.
As the same 'average' old man approached him, he emanated a terrifying aura which seemed to distort space, which sent chills down everyone's spines.
This book's true home is on another platform. Check it out there for the real experience.
In Ares' world there are mortals, transmortals, immortals, golden immortals, mystic immortals, and celestials. Each of these levels or realms are separated into 9 ranks.
Once someone reaches the transmortal realm, they gain the ability to project their aura. Most transmortal auras are only enough to make their opponents hesitant, but once reaching the immortal realm, immortals can make weaker opponents shrivel in fear.
"What might your name be young boy", the old man said as he walked to Ares
"Me? I'm Ares"
"Well", the old man said as he was taking out an envelope from his pocket,"How would you like to join my #1 on the continent Bays Academy."
"Hmm, well If it's #1, then I guess I might as well", Ares said as he took the envelope.
"Well, I'll see you at the academy", he said while walking away.
