After one month of rigorous training, Sheehan had managed to achieve the strength required to use the longsword smoothly. After Day One, He began eating the proper diet of a warrior and trained relentlessly to get this far in such a short time. Another reason for his fast growth was the fact that he was an Awakened... Martha and Henry both cheered for him as he trained with a never-seen-before mindset. Even though they had thought that Sheehan would give up soon, Seeing him make such progress made them lose their doubts about him.

" Master, Are you sure about this?" Henry spoke.

" You don't have to worry about me, I can handle myself. Besides, I am just going to hunt some low-level monster."

" Why not hire an escort? This is your first time going to monster hunting."

That was what exactly, Sheehan wanted to avoid. Having people around him will lower the difficulty and he wanted to get accustomed to fighting monsters with his current level of strength. Having people around sometimes gets in the way, also he liked the idea of being a lone fighter that way it is more convenient to move according to his own pace without anyone else affecting his decision.

He equipped a leather armour chest piece, boots, gloves and shoulder guards for defence. As for the offence, He carried the long sword that he'd been practising with for the entire month, a short sword and a dagger along. Lastly, He also carried two magical items that he didn't know their family had, If not for Henry telling him about them.

The first Item was a Ring with a red gem, Sheehan had already equipped the ring since it was one of the best items he had come across in both worlds.

Henry informed that Everhart family had many items that had been lost in the war. Sheehan didn't feel sad about what was not there, He was happy to have the items that he had at present.

Even after a lot of protest from the servants, Sheehan left the mansion on his own with only a horse. This was the first time that he had even left his mansion, which was located in the Bazon town of Bloomriver County. The town was divided into three parts, the resident district where his mansion was situated, the commerce district and the adventurer district. Sheehan passed through all of these parts and saw many peculiar things. The world was like a medieval theme movie set as people carried weapons like it was normal. Instead of cars people rode carriages.

It took him around 2 hours on a horse just to reach the border of the town and then he was stopped by the guards on the exit. The entire Town was surrounded by a huge wall for protection against monster invasion. It also facilitated collecting taxes for entry or exit from non-residents.

Sheehan showed the insignia of his family which made the guards allow him to pass without any enquiries.

" That was the son of the Swordmaster!" A Guard spoke to the other.

" You mean the Talentless son of the sword master, right?"

" Just where is he going alone without any escorts, Isn't it dangerous for a weakling like him to go out in the forest? You know, I forgot to warn him."

" What? You should have warned him about the bandits, Should we send word to the Everhart mansion?"

As Sheehan rode towards the forest to hunt the monsters, a threat he wasn't aware of was awaiting him.
