the sister finally joins the man in the hallway, with all the doors closed. it's only one way down.
the man says to his sister, lock the door after me i'm just gonna go check on grandma and uncle's family.
the sister tries to say no, the man just looks at her.. finally she gives in, and follows the man down to the
stairs that leaves to the frontdoor. he says be quiet and dont open the door for anyone but me. she nods.
outside in the dark again. the man starts to shake.
he can't control it. he is scared and starts panicking. he had a plan, save his closest. but he can't move.
he continues to shake. panicking. tears trailing down his face. he places his back towards the wall and slides down, pulling
his knees towards his head.. he sits there for what seems like an eternity. crying, snot freely falling.
he looks up and thinks "fucking unfair".. well i'll make i fair.. “
he stands up and and starts walking towards his grandma house. it's all black around him, no sound. thankfully from his sister's house
to his grandma frontdoor it's only 50 meter straight line. the dark doesn't bother the man as he creeps closer. he checks the front door
locked.
he contemplates using the back door, but decides not to. as the front door is a old wooden door with brown glass windows, one kick,
and it would either open or the glass would break.
he takes a step back and brace himself, then he takes a big kick towards the door, aiming for where the lock is. THe door pops open.
he shakes his head, "well that was easy, uh the door was like 50 yr old and brittle". he walks into the hallway, trying to pick up any sounds.
he stops by the stairwell leaving to the upper floor, and tries to listen for any sounds..
a couple seconds go by..
suddenly
an alarm starts screaming it's the loudest noise he's heard since the power went out at his house.
he runs up the stairs. takes a left, down the hallway, the alarm keeps going. he opens the door to his grandma's bedroom and
he can't see anything it's just black the alarm keeps screaming, he can't hear anything he takes a better hold at the dagger
and takes a single step into the room.
something jumps at the man, he falls backwards when they fall he swipes the creature with the dagger. he see's a red number again.

knowing he have to keep the creature away he bucks and spasm all he can. for the man it feels like forever. but in reality it had only been 20 sec.
and the creature had been dead 18 of those 20 sec.
getting to his feet, he looks into his grandma's bedroom, the alarm is still blaring. he walks into the room. his eyes adjusting. then he
quietly leaves the room. closing the door behind him. the alarm is still going as the man pukes in the hallway.
it was a hideous site. it takes the man a lot of effort to get out of the house. the alarm keeps going.
outside he takes many mouthfuls of air, and pukes again.. he sits down on a little brick wall thinking..
10 minutes goes by, the alarm is still going. he doesn't move. for once the luck was with him as he was sitting in the shade of a tree. as the man comes to
he notices 5 shadows standing right in front of him, seemingly checking out the loud house. getting angry the man strengthens his hold on the dagger. he
tenses and jumps right in between the five shadows swinging the dagger around making sure to hit each of them ,. then he he starts running out of the group waiting
for the dot to take hold..

in the dark he can only make out their shadows crumpled to the ground as he starts walking across the grass towards his uncle house.
In the dark, he went over the yard, stepping softly on the wet grass, trying to hear or see any movement of the little blue shits as he had named them in his mind.
the wind was fortunately slowing down, the rain was at a low, light drizzle. numerous flashes from lightning periodically lighted the view, but weirdly enough no sound was transmitting from them. only sounds coming, where from the still ongoing alarm system from his grandma's house. slowly being left behind.
As he went closer to his uncle's front door, the more he strained his ears, holding his breath, ignoring his thumping chest. Trying to pick up any sounds. Suddenly a loud bang could be heard.
As the noise scared the man he gave out a high pitch scream and frantically looked around him. after a few nervous seconds. he finally made out where the noise came from.
Inside his uncle's house!
He quickly sped towards the front door. He found it locked. cursing the fact that everyone else usually locked their front door. he took a step back and once again tried to kick a door open. as he hit it, he went tumbling backwards from the recoil. this was a heavy oak door, painted white and he knew there was at least one normal lock and one deadbolt on the inside. cursing he sat up, intending to go around to the back to the terrace where the entrance is a glass door. he heard a voice from above.
“who is it” a high pitched woman's voice called out. he looked up and saw his aunt leaning out their kitchens window. “it's me, are you guys alright?” the man said. he saw the woman
his uncle had married 10 years prior thinking hard. suddenly her whole face lit up in recognition before she called down. “two sec gonna, gonna come down and open the door for you” closing the window, blocking all sounds from the house, he anxiously looked around, while he was waiting. finally after what felt like an eternity he heard fumbling noises from the lock of the front door.
hurriedly he stepped into the hallway, a long narrow one. littered with shoes and discarded jackets on the floor. His aunt gave him a hug before motioning to follow him upstairs to their huge living room. as he entered the living room he saw his uncle and his three kids, two boys and one girl. the girl being the oldest at 16. His uncle was cradling his left arm with his right. as h looked around the room the man swiftly went to the terrace door and looked out.
he noticed a soft golden light coming from behind a line of tree’s in the direction of the local high school. he didn't take much notice of it as he closed the curtains to prevent anyone or anything from looking in. As he turned around to look more around he noticed the lights was on. swiftly he went to the switch and turned it of. In the sudden dark he couldn't make out more than two feet ahead of him. sitting down at the spot he asked “ soo.. u guys had a meeting with the blue shits too?”
After a quick explanation of the uncle's story where the main point was that it suddenly flashed into existence right in front of them and then proceeded to attack them. The mans uncle got a deep lash on his left forearm but between him and the aunt they managed to kill it. the loud banc he had heard was from his aunt crashing into the kitchen table when she tried to find a towel for the uncle’s arm. the man then proceeded to retell his night.
after a discussion the man finally managed to convince the uncle and his family to go to the man's, sister house. the main selling point being that her house only had a front door on ground level, being easier to guard and also had multiple escape routes despite of that.
after some preparations, they loaded up some beddings and blow up mattresses. They then went quietly down the road. arriving at the house without any problems.
As everyone settled in the man sat down on the couch. exhaustion, excessive physical movements and the aftermath of going from drunk to sober swiftly taking him into oblivion.
