[Naha Airport, Okinawa [2:30 PM]
An airplane slowly lands on the runway, and an undeniably attractive woman walks out of it with a confident walk. A huge crowd of people were there to greet her, cheering and taking pictures.
“It’s her! Momentum Hero: Inertai!”
“We love you Inertai!” “We’re your biggest fans!”
“She’s here in the flesh!*squeal!* She’s even more incredible than on TV!”
The crowd chattered, just then, a whole bunch of paparazzi and interviewers piled up around her, “Settle down everyone, first I’ll answer questions, then I’ll sign autographs, no interviews please. You know how this works.” Inertai said, being as organized as possible.
30 minutes later…
Turns out, there were more people present than expected, so signing autographs took a while.
“Alright little girl, here’s your autograph!” Inertai said, signing her name onto the little girl’s bag, “Thank you Ms. Inertai, it must be hard signing an endless line of people’s autographs.” The little girl said with a happy smile,
“Aww, you’re so sweet, but don’t worry about it, I actually enjoy giving autographs out! I simply want to make my community smile, for what is the purpose of life without a reason to smile?” Inertai said, giving a small speech, “That’s so cool! I want to be just like you when I grow up!” The little girl said, eyes beaming with joy,
“Godspeed kiddo.” Inertai said, walking off.

I blink for a second, and suddenly, I’m in some type of dimension where all I can see is a blank white space. I wasn’t in that room though, I was just spectating it from afar.
A man or a being or something appeared in that room, “Who are you? Where am I?” I said in fear, I tried to move away from it, but my legs wouldn’t move at all.
“I’ll show you your purpose.” It said back,
“What do you even mean?!?” I asked it again, as it slowly walked towards me
Suddenly, it reached out to me and grabbed my chest, “You have chosen your path, now walk on it.” It said, passing through me.

“Hello? Are you there?” A sweet voice spoke out
I slowly opened my eyes, my hearing muffled, but I could hear a soft, gentle voice talking to me. A longish pink haired girl with two small white horns on her head was looking down at me, “Are you okay?” The girl asked, “D-Did I pass out?” I asked her, “I think so, I was walking down the street when I saw a blindingly bright light coming from this roof! I went to go check what was its source and I found you here asleep on the floor!” She said, explaining how she got here,
“What even happened anyways? Does your trait have something to do with it?” The girl asked me in curiosity, “No, I’m an Ordinary. At least, that’s what I’ve been told.” I said, looking towards the sky,
Rumble~
The girl’s stomach made a slight growl, “Oh, that’s my tummy, it’s always hungry hehe~! Anyways, I feel a bit hungry, wanna go get a small bite to eat?” She said to me, with a gleaming smile on her face, “T-There’s a cafe near here that has really good food! I’ll pay for anything that you want there! My treat!” I said immediately, acting strangely out of character, “Thank you! By the way, my name’s Natsuki Ikari!” She said to me, “My name’s Koto Seizoku.” I said with a huge smile on my face.
Before I got to the door that lead to the stairway, I stopped for a moment.
“You like her, don’t you?” A voice asked me,
“There’s that voice again, what do you want!” I asked it, but I didn’t get an answer, it’s like that thing’s presence went away, “Hey! Are you coming?” Natsuki asked me, “I’m coming, just… checking my phone!” I said, making up an excuse, as I caught up to her.
[Kanzen Shopping District), Okinawa [3:40 PM]
“Y’know, it’s kind of weird how you say that you’re an Ordinary but I clearly saw an extremely bright glow on top of that roof.” Natsuki said to me, as we were walking down the street, “I mean, I get my bloodwork done every year, it always comes out negative, indicating that I’m an Ordinary. Maybe it was a supernatural event? Maybe the creator of the universe was having fun with himself? I wouldn’t know, even I’m confused about what happened.” I said, looking at her,

We arrived at the cafe and walked inside, “Welcome! My name is Toru and I’ll be your waitress! Oh! Hello Seizoku! How can I-” A girl with fluffy ears and cat paws said, ”*gasp* Seizoku~... I didn’t know you had a girlfriend~” She teased, “Toru! S-She’s not my girlfriend, I just thought I’d take her out to eat!” I blushed, “I think you just made it worse.” Natsuki said, I blushed even more, “*giggle* I’m just playing, c’mon I got a table open just for you.” Toru said, leading us to our table.
Even though I had no friends at my junior high, I actually had one friend, Mineko Toru, she works full time at the local cafe. She actually didn’t mind that I was an Ordinary, a rare case in this day and age. We’re good friends.
We sit down at a table, get our orders in, and start chatting.
“So I think we should start sharing things about each other! I’ll go first, I love eating, usually desserts, I have a really big sweet tooth-” Natsuki says as I get lost in thought,
“This day just gets better and better huh? First, a guaranteed job, now her! I think she’s a little older than me, but I think my Mom told me girls mature quicker, but she is so cute! The pink hair, her round cheeks, perfect physique! But I wonder what those horns are-”
“Uhm, hello? Koto? It’s okay if I call you Koto right?” Natsuki asks me, “Ah!” I say, coming back into reality, “Yeah, dozed off there, of course! You can call me whatever fits me most!” I say with a chirpy attitude, “Alright! Koto it is! I find it very cute!~” Natsuki says happily, “R-Really? I’m flattered!” I say, blushing, “You’re losing your cool, Seizoku, you gotta play more professionally, anyways, here’s your food,” Toru says, putting down our food, my face cherry red,
Suddenly, I see a whole bunch of people running in the sidewalk, “Hey Toru, is there a marathon today?” I ask, “We barely have those, but I’ll say, this is unusual, especially here.” Toru said, as we look out the window,
Bump!
Someone runs through the door, huge beads of sweat rolling down their face, “Everyone! Evacuate the area! There’s a villain on a rampage on the bridge!” The man said, panic ensuing in the crowd, “C’mon, let’s get out of here!” Toru said to us, we nod, getting up from our chair,
“Let me take my waffles though!~” Natsuki said, piling our food onto one plate, “Hurry up! We might not have much time!” Toru said, urging us out
Everyone piles out the door, with people running past us, trampling over each other.
“Get me out of here!”

I look to my left, and clouds of smoke are coming from the bridge, I was about to run with the crowd, but a voice appeared in my head.
“It’s your time to act, SHINE LIKE A STAR!” The voice told me.
“There’s that voice again! Stop it! Heroes are probably on the way to stop whoever is causing this-”
“I WILL HELP WHOEVER I CAN!”
My eyes were opened in that moment, and then I acted.
“Where are you going!?!” Natsuki asked me, as I dash off, “To help whoever I can, like a hero!” I said, “Augh, what’s with him? C’mon let’s go!” Toru said, “Hold *nom* up! *nom nom* I’m eating as fast as I can! *nom*” Natsuki said, eating all of the waffles in seconds, “You ate that in no time flat! Let's go!” Toru said, as they chased after me.
[Kanden (Bridge), Okinawa [4:15 PM]
A hero named Birch was standing on the north side of the Kanzen bridge, and on the south, “This one’s tough,.” Birch said, “Ink said he fought this guy earlier today, I’ll cut him down by the roots.” Birch said, preparing for assault,
I run at a steady pace, dodging the evacuating citizens as they were running past me with terrified expressions on their faces, “Excuse me! Coming through!” I said, barely bumping into people, but I finally made it, coming from the south side of the bridge,
“Wait, it’s that guy from earlier today, Extinction!” I said a bit too loudly, the three glancing over to me, “Shoots, why isn’t that kid evacuated?” Birch said, “Oh well, I’m starving anyways,” Extinction said, licking his lips

Extinction flapped his huge wings, and charged towards me.
“YOU LOOK LIKE A FREE SNACK!” Extinction said, flying at high speeds close to the ground, “Napkins!” I say reaching into my pockets and throwing out table napkins that I grabbed from the cafe.
Extinction flinched, and I was able to dodge the attack, Extinction throwing the napkins off of his eyes. “Hah, cheap party trick, this is where your luck will run dry!” Extinction roars, as he lunges at me again.

Extinction starts walking around, carefully looking for me, I look at him, his intense and intimidating look froze me stiff. Luckily, he hadn’t spotted me yet, as I was behind a minivan.
“COME OUT, COME OUT WHEREVER YOU ARE! EXTINCTION WANTS TO PLAY!”
Extinction said, I stayed exactly where I was, “No sudden movements, no loud sounds.” I said as steadily as possible, “I should stay here, backup will come any minute-”

Arufa Oki, she’s my caretaker, the person who’s been taking care of me for the past 3 years after my Mom left for her job, I treat her as my acting older sister. She's also a hero like my Mom, but her headquarters is way closer to me.

Extinction flew off of the beams and headed straight for the two girls, “What is that thing?!” Natsuki said in fear, “Look out!” I said reaching my arm out,
“FEN! NOW!” Oki said, as a wolf the size of the minivan, rams into Extinction, pinning him to the ground.

“We have to get those two to safety, but we can’t do that with Extinction around, and I’m in no condition to walk.” Oki said to me, as we tried to put together a plan, “Where’s Ink Pen, he can buy us time right?” I asked him, “He’s busy with another situation across the city, we can’t rely on him to be here.” Oki said to me,

Fen gets thrown back to us, with a lot of injuries as well, “Fen, you have to listen to me, take Oki to a doctor to get her treated.” I said to the wolf, “And then what? We’re going to just leave those two here? You’re not thinking this through-”
“Nobody said I was coming with you,” I said as her eyes widened, “Y-You can’t mean…” Oki said, “I’m going to try to buy time, police should be on the way, let’s hope I’ll survive-”
“NO! I’m not going to allow this, your Mother-” Oki protested, “My Mother what? Is she going to be more proud that I left two innocent girls to die?” I said, “That's Not what I’m saying-” Oki said, as she starts getting emotional,
“Listen, I have a voice in my head, and it told me to come here to save people, and all of your lives are more important than mine!” I said loudly,
“Fine.” Oki said, as a single teardrop falls from her face,

I look behind me, and Oki threw a can of pepper spray, “Here, you’ll need it.” Oki said to me, “Thanks a lot!” I said with a smile, as Fen took off to get Oki to a doctor.

I quickly turn around, and start carefully looking for Extinction, “Now where could he be?” I said, arming myself with the can of pepper spray, “If I was an Extinction, where would I be-”
“Sup.” Extinction said suddenly, scaring me.
“AHH! Take this!” I say loudly, spraying pepper spray at him, he doesn’t flinch at all. I start to back up, bumping into a car in the process, making me fall to the floor, “I was waiting for you to stop your yapping, but you just kept going on and on and on!” Extinction said, actually looking a bit annoyed,
“But I will admit, you have a lot of courage to face me alone. I’ll give you a chance to live-” Extinction continued,
“You get away from him!” Toru said, unsheathing large claws from her paw-like hands,

Extinction takes the attack without an issue and smacks Toru away, “Toru!” Natsuki said, helping her off of the ground, “Agh, I’m alright.” Toru said, dusting the dirt off of her clothes,
“You two need to get out of here!” I said to them, “Yeah! Like he said!” Extinction said sarcastically, as they both ran off.
“Now, back to the program.” Extinction said, turning his head back to me, “I’ll give you to the count of ten, you have to run as far as you can. And if you escape, you win. But if you lose…”
“...I’LL RIP YOU APART! PIECE. BY. PIECE.”
Extinction roared, instilling fear into me, I quickly get up and start running.

I get off the ground and start booking it.

Mr. Kanteki walks to his car with a whole bunch of boxes in hand as a young lady walks with him, “Are you sure you got those boxes Dad?” She asks him, “Don’t worry about it Yusume, I’m still holding strong even after all these years” Mr. Kanteki said with a smile,

“Alright, that should be all of my stuff.” Mr. Kanteki said, placing the box in his car, “So, what do you plan to do after retirement?” Yusume asks him, “I… don’t know really.” Mr. Kanteki said, scratching his head, “Ooh! I have a good idea, how about sitting back and relaxing, ice-cold beer in hand, Ehh? See what I’m getting at~?” Yusume said, spinning around playfully, “A cold beer actually sounds pretty good right now.” Mr. Kanteki said, “Alrighty! I’ma go to the store to get some, cya at home Pops!” Yusume said, riding off on her bike, “Now that she’s gone, it’s time to make that call.” Mr. Kanteki said, bringing out his phone.

Extinction flew under the bridge to chase after me, “I’VE GOT YOU NOW!” Extinction said, swooping down to me as I’m running for dear life, “I’M TIRED OF THESE GAMES!” Extinction screamed at me,

Extinction took out the left south stairway, so I had to take a sharp right, barely avoiding Extinction’s lethal swoop. ”QUIT RUNNING!” Extinction roared, as he slammed the platform, causing it to tilt.
“Koto, run or you die, RUN OR YOU DIE!” I said to myself as the ground beneath my feet began tilting towards Extinction.
I make a big leap, as the platform disconnected from the bridge, I tuck and roll behind a car, it hurt my side a little, it’s not as easy as in the movies. “Koto, are you alright?” Toru asked me, helping me up,
“TORU! BEHIND YOU!” Natsuki said, pointing behind us, Extinction swoops in on us, it looked like we were goners,

Some small object flew at almost blinding speeds from out of nowhere and hit Extinction, sending him flying towards one of the support beams.
“What was that? It completely knocked him away!” Toru said in shock, “Are you okay?” I asked them, “I’m alright, what about you Toru-” Natsuki said,

“What were you thinking, Idiot!” Toru screamed, slapping me with full power across my face, “Ow, that hurt...” I said, rubbing my cheek, “Why did you run off like that? Do you know how worried I was?” Toru asked me, “I’m sorry… There was just a voice in my head that told me to come here-”
“Kids! Get down!” Someone said behind us.
They put their arms on all of us, and we all duck down under the cars, Extinction charges at us from the side at high speeds, ripping the top off of the vehicles beside us.
I look at the person who saved the three of us, “Mr. Kanteki sensei?!? What are you doing here?” I yelled out, “Seizoku, I was about to ask the same.” Mr. Kanteki asked me, “...That’s not important right now, you wouldn’t believe me either way-”
“He let intrusive thoughts get to him.” Toru snitched, “Hey! It wasn’t intrusive thoughts!-”
“I mean, voices in your head, running into a disaster like you have a death wish. Yep! Seems like intrusive thoughts to me!” Natsuki said cheerfully, “Fine, intrusive thoughts it is…” I sigh,
“*sigh* At least all of you are alright.” Mr. Kanteki said as we all turned to Extinction, who is currently standing on top of a semi-truck.
“You! Fossil fuel! If you wish to lay even a finger on these children, you’ll have to get through my dead corpse! Otherwise, surrender!” Mr. Kanteki said, holding up a small, metal pin, “So you’re the one who threw that metal… thing! That hurt! Prepare to die, old man!” Extinction screeched, “Suit… yourself!” Mr. Kanteki said, throwing the metal object to the right, off of the bridge…
“AHAHAHA!” Extinction laughed hysterically, “Did you forget to take your meds gramps-” “Discipline!” Mr. Kanteki said, doing a hand signal.

The same pin flew toward Extinction from the left, “Eh?” Extinction said, quickly grabbed the pin, “This pin… NOW I KNOW WHO YOU ARE!” Extinction said, holding up the metal pin, “YOU’RE SILVER BULLET!” Extinction said with a happy expression, “I’ll keep this one for the collection.” Extinction said, putting the pin in a pack on his leg
“Children, Run! Get out of here, go as far as you can!” Mr. Kanteki said, urging us out of the area, as we retreated, ”I can’t believe that I, Extinction, met the real Silver Bullet, I’ve always wanted to fight you!” Extinction said with glee, Mr. Kanteki reached into his pockets, bringing out three more pins,
Mr. Kanteki said loudly, throwing the metal pins with all his might, making the pin fly at ridiculously high speeds, Extinction tried blocking the attack, getting knocked back a couple feet, “Augh! That’s enough!!!” Extinction screeched,

Sirens blared loudly, as police officers and SWAT (Special Weapons And Traits) got out of their vehicles,
“POLICE! DROP YOUR WEAPON!”

Toru, Natsuki and I were running for our lives, our breathing and panting almost in sync with each other, “We’re almost there!” Natsuki said, “Once we get past that arch, we should be safe.” Natsuki continued, as she picked up the pace, “Natsuki! Wait up! Dang, she’s a fast runner.” Toru said, as Natsuki ran off,
“*What are you doing? Why are you running away? Don’t you remember your promise?*”
The voice asked me, as I stopped where I was standing, “There’s that voice again, what do you want from me?” I asked it,

The entity that I saw in the dream appeared in front of me, I stood still in fear,
“*Listen, only you can see me right now, I am you, and you are me, we are the same person.*”
The entity said to me, it was shaped as a white, upside-down teardrop with a black dot in the middle, “I… I don’t get it.” I said plainly, the entity sighed,
“OPEN FIRE!”
“LIGHT HIM UP!”
CRACK! BANG!
Loud and rapid gunshots could be heard, I was frightened by
“*You have a choice, you can run away, and live your life like a nobody, or choose to walk on the path you made for yourself, and become a hero!*”
The entity said, trying to get me on his side, “I… Need a second to think.”
“KOTO!” Toru said, running up behind me, as I made up my mind, “What are you doing?” She continued,
“I’M GOING TO SAVE-”

Toru used her claws to hold me back, “This is not like you!” Toru said, "You're not the kid who’d run off into danger!” She continued, as I tugged at my jacket, trying to break free, “Come on! Let’s just go home, and go back to our normal daily lives-”

I shoved Toru away, as she fell on the floor hard, “I… Don’t want to be normal! I DON’T WANT TO BE ORDINARY!” I said out loud, as I glance at Toru, she was on the floor, with shock in her eyes, “I’m sorry, I’ll be back, I promise.” I said dashing off,

(Natsuki’s POV)
I ran away from the bridge, as fast as I could, until my lungs felt like giving out, “*gasp* This should be far enough, right guys-” I said, turning around, “Guys? I’m pretty, super duper, sure they were right behind me.” I thought hard, “Maybe they’re still back there, I gotta go look for them!” I said, running back to the bridge,
When I got back there, I saw Toru sitting on the ground, “Toru! Are you alright?” I asked her, she looked like she was in disbelief, “There’s no way…” Toru said in disbelief, “What are you talking about? Where’s Koto?” I asked her, “He ran off, I tried to stop him, but he pushed me away.” Toru continued, pointing towards the place we ran from, “Intrusive thoughts again? Does he want a death wish?” I asked, “When Koto pushed me away, I saw on his hand…”

(Back to Koto’s POV)
I keep running, even after it feels like my lungs collapsed.
That’s when I see the scene.
Mr. Kanteki… He’s on the floor, leaning against a car, bleeding from the forehead, “Mr. Kanteki!!!” I said in panic, “*cough* Koto… Why are you here?” Mr. Kanteki said, “D-Did to Extinction do this to you? Answer me!” I said frantically, “Just get out of here, YOU NEED TO LIVE-”
SCREECH!
Just then, I heard a blood-curdling screech coming from behind me. It was Extinction, but his scariness was cranked up to 100,
“COME. HERE. KID.”
Extinction yelled out loud, stoking fear into me, he then started to lunge at me, I cross my arms in a defensive fashion.

For me, time slowed down to a halt, although I was unable to move or speak, only think.
“*Don’t fear him, you’re stronger than you think.*”
The entity said to me, I looked Extinction in the eyes, his ravenous teeth and bloodshot eyes,
“*Now listen closely, close your eyes and take a deep breath.*”
I did as it said, I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, “I feel… Calm! I don’t feel that scared anymore.” I said in my thoughts,
“*Now search deep within yourself and awaken your ability!*”
I searched deep, as deep as I possibly could, and finally I found it.

I slowly opened my eyes, I was surrounded by a… Bubble?
“W-What is this?!? One of ways that my Trait ‘Predator’ works is that I can see the power of my opponent visually, it appears as a flame-like aura around them. I read this kid’s power earlier today, there wasn’t even a spark, even people with weaker Traits have some spark to them. Now this kid has a crazy spark, comparable to a hero.”
Extinction said in his thoughts, as I was still comprehending what was happening, “I-I have… ~Powers~?” I said out loud, as Toru and Natsuki arrived, “Koto! We’re here-” Natsuki said to me,
“WOOHOO!!!”
I celebrated in my bubble, Toru and Natsuki looked at Mr. Kanteki for answers, but he shrugged,
“It doesn’t matter! I’ll rip through this shield in a second!”

It did practically nothing to my shield, when he sliced the shield, it stretched like a stress ball, and Extinction bounced back a little.
“AUGH! ENOUGH ALREADY!”

“Oh shoot-”

Extinction grabbed my bubble and flew high up into the air, “WAWAWAWA! LET ME GO! LET ME GO! TOO HIGH! TOO HIGH!” I panicked, as we got thousands and thousands of feet up into the air, “Let’s have a little chat, shall we, ‘Koto’?” Extinction asked me, “Ngh, only my friends call me that.” I said, trying to get out of his grasp, “Aww, that’s quite disappointing. Tell me then, what can I call you?” Extinction said with a grin,
“*Follow my instructions, and repeat after me.*”
The entity said, as I nodded,
“*Touch the bubble with your fist, and imagine the energy that made that bubble, enter your fist.*”
I did as he said, I touched the bubble with my fist, and imagined that energy entering my fist. Suddenly, the bubble disappeared and like it said, it entered my fist, and my fist started glowing brightly, as I latched onto Extinction.
“*Say proudly, ‘I am Koto Seizoku!’ *”
“I AM KOTO SEIZOKU!”
“*And I’m going to be a star to all who see my shine!*”
“AND I’M GOING TO BE A STAR TO ALL WHO SEE MY SHINE!”
“NO YOU’RE NOT! STOP…”
SLICE!
“DREAMING!”
Extinction slashed at me, I let go of him to dodge the attack. It missed me, but he managed to sever my hair, revealing my eyes.
“DAMMIT! Wait, let me check his-”
Extinction checked my power level, it was brighter than any hero he’s ever faced,
“NAH, I’M DIPPING!”
Extinction thought in terror,
FWOOSH!
Attempting to retreat, Extinction free falled down at high speeds, but I wasn’t done.
“*It’s time.*”
The entity said, “Tell me what to do, and fast!” I said, falling at high speeds, plummeting to the ground
“*Relax your body, and let the energy in your arm spread throughout your body!*”
I did as it said, and it worked, the energy spread throughout my body. The power rushed through me like a stream, like a water dam collapsing to the ocean it tried to hold back, like a ninja opening the 7 gates, or the almighty warrior going into ultra instinct.
“*GET HIM!*” The entity said to me
“You got it!” I said confidently, as I chased after Extinction.
I lined myself up with Extinction, it was hard, but I quickly got used to free falling, and using physics, I put my body into a vertical position, making me fall faster.
“HE’S TOO STRONG! GOTTA GET OUT OF-”
“Sup’.” I said nonchalantly, scaring him out of his mind, as I threw him down, “IT’S TIME FOR MY ULTIMATE ATTACK!!!” I said winding up a punch, as the energy in my fist formed a star shape,
“PLEASE! DON’T-”
Extinction pleaded, protecting himself with his arms,
“HYAAAA!”
I shouted with all of my breath, as I released the energy onto Extinction,
SMAAASH!!! Splash!
the star energy exploded from my arm as Extinction fell down into the ocean, the waters exploding up on impact.
“D-Did I just do that?!?” I asked myself, “*Yes, you did, and this is just a fraction of your strength, remember when I told you, you were stronger than you looked?*” The entity asked me,
“THIS IS THE BEST-”
Ngh~
I felt a sharp pain hit my chest, like a long needle just skewered through me,
“Best…”
The power completely left my body, and I with the energy leaving my body, my own stamina left with it. As the sun sets during its golden hour, I fell toward the sea at high speeds, closing in at 100 feet, maybe this was the end-
"KOTO!"
[Kanzen (Bridge), Okinawa [5:35 PM]
(Natsuki’s POV)
Toru and I were helping the gentleman that Koto was protecting out of the area, “C’mon, let’s get you out of the area.” Toru said, “Mister, are you going to be alright?” I asked him, “Don’t worry about me, my injuries are minor.” Mr. Kanteki said, “What about Koto? He’ll die if we don’t do something.” I said, worried about my friend who got sent up into the sky, “He’s a lost cause, besides, that monster villain probably already shredded him to pieces by now.” Toru said,
GLIMMER!
A gleaming, bright light could be seen in the sky, as something flew out of it at high speeds, into the water, “What is that? It’s beautiful!” Toru said, her starry eyes gleaming with awe, “I know who that is…” I said, as the light dispersed, revealing a boy, falling down.
“What am I doing, just standing here, spectating… If Koto would charge into danger to save me…” I said under my breath, “Hey Natsuki, are you okay-”
Dash~
“Why shouldn’t I try to do the same?” I say, vaulting over the railing, “NATSUKI! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!” Toru said in a panic,
LEAP!
“Having intrusive thoughts!” I said, diving headfirst off of the bridge. While I was still falling, I focused, “Alright Natsuki, time to…”
Morph~
“Transform!” I said, turning into a pint-sized, flying creature with short, white horns, as I fly towards Koto at high speeds,
“The name of my Trait is called ‘Oni’! A variant of one at least.
People with the Oni Trait can turn into… Well, an Oni, a mythical creature, usually 7 feet tall, with distinct, tall horns, I’m a special case though, I’m barely taller than a basketball.
One cool thing is that the color of the Oni’s horn determines their extra abilities while in that form, if I remember correctly, blue ones have speed and intelligence, and red ones have power and are more muscular.
Mine are ‘Pure white’, which gives me the power of flight, the ability to carry heavy objects, and duplication!”
I head towards the point that Koto’s going to land in the water at, but since I haven’t really trained my Trait, I can only fly at a set speed, “I won’t make it!” I say
“KOTO!”
I yell out loud, stretching my hand out towards Koto.
FWOOOOOSH!
Suddenly, a blue blur dashed across from the other end of the bridge, at speeds I couldn’t even register in my mind. It grabbed the both of us, and in the blink of an eye, I was back on solid ground, “What was that? I-I barely even closed my eyes for half a second!” I said in shock.
I look up, and someone in a white and blue robotic outfit was standing there, holding Koto in her arms, they then pressed a button on their suit, removing their helmet, “That was very brave of you young lady, diving for this boy and saving him.” The woman said, complimenting me on my heroic acts, I recognized her immediately, “You-You’re Inertai!!!” I said with happiness,
