[Orimichi, Japan (EI High) 11:14 PM]
Oromichi is a technologically advanced city located in the Shizuoka prefecture. The scientists and engineers there are the ones who engineered the bullet train that revolutionized travel around Japan. You could take a non-stop round trip in an impressive 8 hours.
A Dark green-haired young man was playing a lyre beautifully in his dorm,
“Star of wonder, star of night, star of royal beauty bright.~” The man sang with a calm expression, plucking the strings with elegance.
Open~
A girl walked into his room. “Could you keep that down- Uhh… What is your name again?” The girl asked, “Usuki, we’ve been here for just about a year. I’m surprised you haven’t remembered up until now, my name is Cardinale, Danalyse Cardinale.” The young man said, “Cardinale, sorry, what were you singing about anyways?” The girl said back
“I was just humbly singing about The Second Sun, I’m sure you’ve heard of it.” Cardinale said, activating a mystical power that blew a musical note around her, “Yeah, my parents always told me about it as a bedtime story when I was younger, I kind of forgot how it went though.” Usuki said, twirling her hair,
“Mind if I… Retell the story?” Cardinale said, playing his lyre, “Fine, but no music.” Usuki said, “Okay, okay, hehe, it goes like this…” Cardinale said, putting down his lyre
“Many centuries ago, in the middle of the night, a star shone as bright, as bright as the sun.
People adored this star, it trended all over the world. some theorized it was the end, and some of a new era we couldn’t possibly comprehend.
For a long time it stayed in the night sky, people stayed awake and still didn’t know why
All of a sudden, the star exploded, sending a blinding wave of light throughout the universe.
It continued for what felt like eternity, all panic and worry for that single moment dispersed
After that, a miracle started around the globe, people reported to possess powers unlike anything we’ve ever seen before, and with that, a new generation was born.
Scientists were astounded by such a miracle, they never really understood it, their work was done. When they finished, they called this phenomenon “The Second Sun”.
Cardinale finished it by playing a little tune using his lyre, Usuki gave him a menacing stare.
“Sorry, I was stuck in the moment.” Cardinale said, putting his lyre down.
“Do you think the Second Sun will ever happen again? I mean, is something like that even possible?” Usuki asked,
“I’m not certain, scientists presume that this event happening again is like lightning striking twice, no, thrice. But who knows, the Second Sun was a miracle, and miracles can happen again,” Cardinale said, looking out his window towards the night sky,
“Anyways… Nice story Cardigan. I’m heading to bed! Good night!” Usuki said walking, “Cardinale, the name’s Danalyse-”
Shut~
Usuki left the room, leaving Cardinale, “Never mind, I guess it’s my time to sleep in peace.” Cardinale said, turning off the lights in his dorm.
[Somewhere… ??:??]
I slowly opened my eyes.
I look around to examine the situation, the earth beneath my feet is completely ground zero, destruction as far as they eye can see, my ears are deafened by the fight around me, I look above me, a giant villain, standing there with an intimidating aura circling around him.
“FOOLISH HUMAN! WHO ARE YOU TO STOP ME?”
The giant roared, as the ground rumbled with his mighty power. “You are the foolish one! Look around you, all the lives you’re affecting, all of the destruction you’re causing, you are the epitome of evil in this world.” I with a mighty voice.
CRUSH!
The giant behemoth begins to stomp me, a huge shadow going over me. My eyes were amazed by this, but I also was paralyzed with fear. I thought it was over for me, but just then, I heard a voice in my head.
“It’s your time to act! SHINE LIKE A STAR!” The voice said to me, I take a deep breath and start running towards the fight, at the speed of light! I got close towards the two clashing titans, and finally the giant noticed me, and he started to stomp on me.
I stood there, and breathed in and out. I searched deep within me and activated my power, the giant on the brink of crushing me.
Finally, I found it.
The power rushed through me like a stream, like a water dam collapsing to the ocean it tried to hold back, like a ninja opening the 7 gates, or the almighty warrior going into ultra instinct.
The giant put his foot down on me, the impact so powerful that it left a crater.
But I moved so fast, I dodged it just barely, the attack grazing my hair.
I then jump up his body, the giant trying to swat me like a fly, but I dodged every single one of the giant’s attacks using my lightning fast speed and get up to his nose area.
“HERE’S MY ULTIMATE ATTACK… HYAAAAAAH” I said, delivering a powerful blow with my fist.
BASH!
The giant fell to the ground, a huge cloud of dust scattering across the ground on impact.
A crowd gathered as I stood victorious atop of the giant tyrant. Citizens from all over were cheering, celebrating my victory with me.
“You did well, young man!” A mighty figure said, smiling at me,
“What to do next?” I asked it, as she opened her mouth to say words to me,
“BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!” it said to me,
“What wuh-” I said, as the world around me distorted, the ground beneath my feet collapsed, as I fell into the void beneath it.
[Kanden, Japan [7:50 AM]
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
My alarm clock went off, I woke up in an instant, it turns out, I was asleep, and it was all just one big dream. I pulled off my sheets and got out of bed, and I walk over to the window.
I peek through the glass panes, the sun shining on my face.
My name is Koto Seizoku, you can call me “Koto” for short.
I’m sort of a normal kid, normal looks, normal grades, normal IQ, normal strength, nothing really sticks out about me.
I live in Kanden, Okinawa in an apartment that my Mother pays for, she’s gone for most of the year, she works overseas in Kagoshima. She is an amazing woman, she actually is visiting me tomorrow and is staying for the rest of the week, but then the cycle repeats as she goes back off to her job.
I walk into the living room, and smack my lips, I had a bad taste in my mouth, so I opened the fridge to get some OJ.
I poured the juice into a cup, and put some bread into the toaster.
“Alright! Now time to catch up on that anime I was watching-”
RING!
A loud notification came from my phone, I jumped in shock, knocking over my glass of OJ
Shatter!
I sigh, and look at my phone to see the notification

Voice Message from: Mommy
Hey Koto, it’s Mommy, I just wanted to say… Good news! My sidekicks said I could take the weekend early, I’m heading to the airport now, cya later today!
—
“Oh cool, I can't wait to see her again!” I say with a smile on my face, as I grab some paper towels to sop up the juice spill. Afterward, I threw away the soaked paper towels, and went to prepare for the day ahead.
(Outside)
[8:17 AM]
I walked out of an apartment complex, a big smile beaming my face.
“Last day of school! After that, I can do whatever I want!” I say walking down the street, taking in the fresh air, “Sorry! Coming through!” I said running through the crowd, trying to avoid bumping into people, I got to a traffic stop, looking towards the sky, taking in the rising sun.
“The world we live in is a special one indeed, with spectacular and unusual powers that defy science and all understanding and can not be comprehended. They are known as "Traits" and are powered by spirit and personality along with strength and sheer willpower. This pushed the boundaries of mankind, the things we thought were impossible were becoming reality.” I continued, as I heard a scream to my right.
A big bulky man pushed me to the ground, as he ran with a purse, “Somebody stop him! He’s getting away with my belongings!” The lady said, as I quickly got back up to chase after the thief.
I chased after him, my heart beating heavy with each step I took, good thing PE class got me some endurance. The thief turned a corner into an alleyway.
When I also turned the corner, I saw that the thief was trapped, as there was a big chain-link fence blocking the way. “T-There’s nowhere left to run, just give me the purse and we can get this over with!” I said with naivety.
When the phenomenon first started, barely even 1% of the population of the world experienced these changes, but it’s been almost 500 years since then, and that number grew to a sky high 90% with the number rising by a .01% every year. Even with those high odds, I still was one of the “Ordinary”, a group of individuals that still didn’t develop a cool power.
The thief stood there for a second, but then he started laughing.
“Heh, Hahaha… HAHAHAHA” The thief said, activating his Trait.
His body grew into something twice his already huge size, turning into a pterodactyl-looking creature.
“What are you doing sticking your little nose into something that doesn’t concern you?” The thief asked, as he instilled fear into me, “S-Sticking your nose where it is none of your business is the essence of being a true hero.” I said nervously. “Where’d you learn that one? The news?” He said sarcastically, “Ahh, how naive, but I can tell you’re different from this generation. Not in a good way though.” Extinction said, walking towards me.
I backed away slowly, but ended up slipping on an empty soda can.
“Remember this name kid, Extinction, not only does my trait give me this awesome body, it also gives me a skill that I like to call Predator, I can see how powerful my prey is, and from what I can see from you…” Extinction smiled menacingly, as I stared into the eyes of a predator- Pause actually.
“YOU’RE DEAD MEAT!” Extinction said, dashing over to me, about to dig a hole through me, I bring up my backpack in an attempt to shield me somehow.
“NOT SO FAST VILLAIN!” Someone said behind me,
But the people who do have traits, and want to use them for the greater good can go through a system and become a hero as a profession.
Suddenly, a shadowy figure did a flying kick towards Extinction, I backed up to the street, but I stayed to watch the fight, “Who are you???” Extinction asked the figure, as I looked towards the figure. He stood up valiantly, “My name is Ink Ninja Hero: Ink Pen, the sworn defender of Kanden and the 120th most popular hero.” He said in a grand voice, my eyes sparkled with wonder.
On the 5th of January, all of the heroes come together for the annual “Hero Ranking Ceremony” where as the name suggests, they tally up which hero the best of the best, considering everything, the number of crimes stopped, the overall public approval, the impact they had on the community, and their overall power.
Just then, another one of those shadowy figures arrived, assisting the first figure by throwing it towards Extinction.
Slash!
As the Silhouette was flying towards Extinction. Extinction brought out his claws and slice and diced through the clone, when the clone popped, a black ink-like substance covered Extinction, including over his eyes.
Before we knew it, we were living in a Superhero vs Supervillain society, good vs evil.
“The name of my trait is “Ink Clones”, I can make jet black-colored one to one copies of myself. Not only that, I can detonate them, doing so spreads ink all over my target, easily blinding them.” Ink Pen said explaining his trait,
Extinction wiped the ink off of his eyes like a champ, “It’s going to take more than some stupid ink clones to get me down!” Extinction boasted, a moment later, a couple of police officers arrived at the scene, “Kanden Police! STOP AT ONCE!” The cops said to Extinction,
“Ugh, I don’t have time for this!” Extinction said, flying off, “Not so fast villain!” Ink Pen said making clones to grab him.
The clones teamed up and formed a human rope to grab Extinction’s legs, but extinction easily kicked them off, and flew away.
“Dang, he got away.” Ink Pen said as I tried crawling away, “And you kid, I want a word with you.” Ink Pen continued, as I stopped crawling, “First off, are you alright? No injuries or wounds?” Ink Pen asked me, “Nah, I’m completely uninjured, but my bag…” I said, showing him my backpack, it had a huge hole through it, “When I shielded myself from that villain, I think Extinction was his name, his huge claws dug through my bag. It’s completely ruined now.” I said in gloom.
“Sounds like quite the dilemma! Oh look! A conveniently placed backpack, it seems brand new as well!” Ink Pen said to me, “Bu-But!” I said to him, with apparent worry on my face,
“Don’t worry, I’ll take full responsibility! Now go on, off to school you go!” Ink Pen said, shooing me away, “DON’T FORGET THAT SCREEN TIME IS IMPORTANT!” Ink Pen yelled to me,
“What does that even mean???” I asked myself, as I ran off to school, putting my ripped up backpack in my new one.
[Kanden Junior High, Okinawa [8:42 AM]
“I’M GOING TO BE LATE! OH SHOOT OH SHOOT OH SHOOT!” I said dashing in my junior high
I dash through hallway after hallway, flying up the stairs until I reach the third floor and check each sign above the door, “Class 3-D, Class 3-C, Class 3-B, Class 3-A!” I said rushing towards the door.
Open~
I went through the door into the homeroom, a bald old but still healthy looking man gave me a bold stare, “Seizoku, good, you’re just in time, if you were a second later…” The old man said as a kid panics and runs into the classroom.
Fling!
The old man flings a piece of chalk at the late student, the piece of chalk even changed trajectory as it traveled, hitting the kid on the forehead, the chalk stick crumbling to dust on impact, “Sadly, I’m only allowed to use chalk to throw at my misbehaving or late students.” He said, holding three pieces of chalk like kunai, “Mr. Kanteki, you’ll always be cool in my heart.” I said, complimenting him,
“Teacher’s pet.” The class groaned, I felt a little embarrassed.
“I’m flattered, Seizoku, moving on…” Mr. Kanteki said as I went to my seat,
“Today is your last day at Kanden Junior High, congrats on making it through your third year. I am proud of every one of you, really, you’re the best class I’ve had in my 15 years teaching at this school.” Mr. Kanteki said, as the classroom stayed silent,
“Today was supposed to be career day, but I’m positive all of you are going to pick one particular job: Hero.” Mr. Kanteki said as the class went wild, showing off their array of Traits
The idea is simple, people with Traits can use their powers for the greater good, they can go through the various hero courses in high schools around the country, and once they graduate, they can either join an agency and become a sidekick, or start their own agency and build their team from there.
The class was getting out of control, some shooting projectiles, knocking over items on the bookshelves, so the teacher grabbed two handfuls of chalk and chucked them all at us, luckily I caught attention and hid under my desk, meanwhile, the rest of the class got a mouthful of chalk.
Yada Kanteki
Trait: Pinpoint Precision
"He can have any object he makes contact with target anything and anybody, and the object will go as far as to change its trajectory to hit its target.
This novel's true home is a different platform. Support the author by finding it there.
“Instead, I prepared a short pop quiz solely based on Traits and hero work, I’m sure this will be more enjoyable than the geography one I had planned. Afterwards we will finish up the mathematics workbook.” Mr. Kanteki said, handing people sheets of paper.
I got out my pencil, and looked at the first question on the paper.
[Question 1]
What High School Hero Course are you planning to join? (There are no wrong answers, just answer seriously.)
In the hero world, there is a huge line between the mediocre from the elite, those who want to rise from the mediocre and join the ranks of the elites are recommended to join a high school with an advanced hero course.
One of the most advanced hero courses, the hero course at EI High in Oromichi is heavily regarded as the #1 high school in Japan. Some of the best heroes:
- Below Zero Hero: Everest
- Dimension Hero: Biodome
- Moon Bunny Hero: Luna
All of these heroes are SS Rank heroes, meaning that they are top 10 in the world, and all of them graduated at the top of their class at EI High.
The biggest issue is, even after getting accepted, you have to pass an Opening Exam to even enter the academy, statistically, out of the ten thousand applications they get every year, Only 27 of those applicants get accepted into the hero course, and 3 more from transferring from other countries.
This leaves you at an unbelievably low 0.27% acceptance rate.
So you either have to be extremely lucky, or be uber strong to join the EI Hero Course.
Since I didn’t plan on joining the hero course, since, y’know, I have no Trait, I wrote down
“E I High” just because I had to answer, so if I had to go to any, that would be the place. My classmates were chatting to each other about which High School they planned on going to.
[Question 2]
What are Traits?
Traits are things that are unexplainable by science, even the most intelligent scientists can't come up with a logical reason for how these fantastic abilities came into being, and for a long while, this strange phenomena couldn’t be explained.
That was until American philosopher Dante Amadio Trait came into the scene and showed the world his theory of how Traits came into being.
“These powers are an undoubtedly supernatural happening, proven even more by the ‘Second Sun’. My theory is this:”
“A seed, not just any seed, but a spiritual seed, is planted in each and every one of us, this seed is expected to sprout at the age of 5, and after the seed sprouts, it develops by spreading its roots throughout the body and embeds itself in our DNA, the properties something like a reverse photosynthesis, the energy comes from within and expands outwards.”
The world accepted this reasoning with open arms, although this theory cannot be scientifically explained, this idea can be conceived and comprehended easily.
This theory went on to receive countless awards, and the name Dante Amadio Trait marked its place into history.
Even today, we look back on this theory, and it was rightfully named ‘The Trait Theory’.
[Question 3]
What are the seven categorized Trait types?

---
Most of the questions after this were mostly about hero laws and trait usage, so we’ll skip through those.
After a while, the teacher collected all of our papers, and went to his desk, “I’m sure you’ve all read the first question carefully, and from the answers most of you wrote down, I can tell you’re not taking this seriously.” Mr. Kanteki said intimidatingly, snapping a piece of chalk with his fingertips, everybody ready to duck under their desks.
“That’s why I’m going to say your answers out loud, for the whole class to hear.” Mr. Kanteki said, making everybody nervous.
He went through everybody’s paper one by one, each person’s face had some type of shame for their immaturity, but then it came to mine.
“And our last paper belongs to Koto Seizoku, he was the only person to put in a genuine answer. The High School he wants to attend is E I HIGH.” Mr. Kanteki said.
The biggest wave of embarrassment rushed through my body, my peers turning their heads at me, I hid my head with my arms, but strangely, they didn’t laugh at me, they just stared at me.
“Really? Him?” “That’s a surprise.” “I’d like to see him try.” All of the students said, chatting amongst themselves.
“Out of all of you, Seizoku gave the most detailed and accurate answers to all of the questions. Boys and girls, people of your talents should be ashamed of being bested by him, do you understand?” Mr. Kanteki said intimidatingly,
“Y-Yes, Mr. Kanteki.” The whole class said together, praying that they wouldn’t get chalked again.
[Kanden High School, Okinawa 12:29 PM]
RING!!!
The bell rang for lunch, and all of my classmates were rushing out of the door. I was the last to leave, slowly walking out of the classroom, I walked through the hallway, and headed to the cafeteria.
Today is a good day for lunch, vegetable fried rice, gyoza, miso soup, kimchi, and mixed fruit. These foods are extremely rare, especially the gyoza.
After getting my food, I went to find a table to sit down, but everybody refused to share a seat with me, even if they didn’t say it themselves, they expressed it in ways such as stares, putting their empty plates on the empty seats, etc. I found myself sitting on the floor at the corner of the room.
In history, when the Second Sun phenomenon happened, and a generation of children possessing Traits entered the world, people had a bias against people with these powers, calling them “monsters” and “freaks” but over time, the hatred shifted over to people that didn’t possess a Trait.
And in the present day, society throws the Ordinary in the trash, and now that the number of ordinary people that still live is so low, the people that are Ordinary are stuck, it’s very rare for them to find people like them, while also having to deal with the oppression of the people with traits.
So if there’s anybody to blame, it’s the sins and mistakes of our ancestors.
I sat down in the corner of the cafeteria, the same place I sat at the start of junior high. Everyone chatting and laughing loudly as they eat,
Suddenly, Mr. Kanteki walked into the room, his presence alone made the whole cafeteria silent in fear, one wrong move and you’re covered in chalk dust, he walked up to me, and looked me straight into the eye. “Seizoku.” Mr. Kanteki said with a bold stare, “Y-Yes Mr. Kanteki?” I said nervously, “The floor is very improper for you to eat on, it’s incredibly unsanitary.” Mr. Kanteki said to me,
“I’m sorry Mr. Kanteki, just nobody’s inviting me to sit with them, y’know what I mean by that.” I said, “I want you to have lunch with me, in the teacher’s lounge.” Mr. Kanteki said, “Really? Is that alright?” I asked, “Of course, you can even pick from the food in the teacher’s lounge, come quickly, lunch period won’t last long.” Mr. Kanteki said, as I followed him.
[Kanzen Junior High, (Teacher’s Lounge) Okinawa [12:40 PM]
We walked into the teacher’s lounge, “Pork cutlet! White rice! Chocolate muffins! PLUM TEA DISPENSER!” I say ecstatic at the options, “Get all you want, and sit down, I want to talk to you about something.” Mr. Kanteki said to me as I finished picking out my food, we both sat down at the coffee table across from each other.
“So, munch what did you want to talk about? Nom~” I said, chowing down on the delicious food,
“I wanted to talk about the future, your future specifically.” Mr. Kanteki said,
“You see, a few days ago, you left the classroom, forgetting your notebook. When I went to get your notebook and give it back to you, I noticed a list of crossed out names, I realized that they were all businesses in the general area.” He said, as I got an idea what this talk was about.
“So we’re going to talk about me getting a job right?” I asked Mr. Kanteki, “Quite the opposite,” Mr. Kanteki said, getting up from his chair, “I’m suggesting you should stop looking for a job, those were all interviews you crossed out, correct?” Mr. Kanteki asked me, “Uhh… Yeah but-” I said, “39 interviews, all turned down, don’t you realize the pattern? Insanity is doing an action over and over again, expecting different results.” He continued, looking through the window,
“Look at the current state of the world around you, this world is unforgiving and cruel.” Mr. Kanteki said, looking out the window, “You’ve heard of the ‘Ordinary Obsoletion’ right?” He continued to ask me, “Yeah, people with Traits outclass Ordinaries. Ordinaries end up never finding a job and end up homeless beggars, bottom feeders of the earth. I’m correct right?” I said, “And you now know what I’m trying to point out right?” He asked me, “I know that, but I want to work regardless.” I say with a determined face,
“Tell me Seizoku, why do you want to work? I know Your Mother well, she is beyond wealthy, and I know deep down that she’d pay for anything to make you happy.” Mr. Kanteki said, “I want to work-” I say sheepishly, “I need more enthusiasm than that! Tell me from the depths of your heart, why do you want to work? If not money, then what?” He said, making me get to the point, “I WANT TO WORK HARD TO MAKE MY OWN MONEY!” I yelled out, as he stayed silent,
“All of my life, I relied on my mother for everything, my meals, my clothes, my phone and its data plan, everything I own came out of someone else’s expense, I’ve felt guilty my entire life knowing that fact.” I said twiddling my thumbs, “I see, you want to make your own income to feel less burdened by spending it?” Mr. Kanteki said to me,
“Yeah, I want to earn everything I spend, down to the last penny, I want to deserve the money I have.” I said, with more confidence in my tone, “That’s a respectable motive! Listen, I’m planning my retirement after the school year’s over.” Mr. Kanteki said to me, “Not a surprise actually, I wouldn’t want to be teaching stuff to kids that goes in one ear and out the other.” I replied to him, Mr. Kanteki couldn’t agree more with me, chuckling a little.
“Mr. Seizoku, since you’re dead set on getting a job, I think I know someone who could help you with that.” Mr. Kanteki said to me, “I forgot to tell you, there’s another-”
RING!!!
The bell rang, meaning the next period was about to begin.
“Welp, that’s the bell, I gotta get going.” I said to Mr. Kanteki, “That’s a shame, I wish we could’ve chatted a bit longer, *sigh* meet me at the school next Monday. Now hurry up or you’ll be late for class.” Mr. Kanteki said to me,
“Thank you, Mr. Kanteki, I’m really thankful for this opportunity. May I take some chocolate muffins for later?” I asked, “You may.” Mr. Kanteki said, “Yippee!” I said grabbing a few of them and piling them in my bag, as I dashed off to class.
[Kanden Junior High (Homeroom), Okinawa [2:57 PM]
All of us were in class, all of my peers were staring at the clock above the door, seeing the hour hand slowly but surely moving to 3. Just then, the loudspeaker sounded.
“Dear students, this is the principal speaking, before we dismiss you, the staff of this school would like to congratulate you, for enduring this tough year, and as we look to the future, the future that is in your hands. We look forward to what the future holds for each and every one of you, we wish you blessings upon blessings in whatever you do. Just remember, anything can be accomplished in life as long as you work hard and dream big. You are dismissed.”
The bell rings, an overwhelming wave of relief is expressed by the whole class.
(Outside)
I walked out of the school, and adjusted my eyes to the sunlight. All of the kids were running to their parents who came there to pick them up, anybody else was just chatting with their friends waiting for their parents to pick them up.
“Hey, what did you think about that small speech the principal gave us before we left?”
“Meh, I bet she used AI to write that speech, it was so typical and bland.”
“I thought it was pretty inspiring, anyways, my Mom’s here, cya later!’
I looked around, “That reminds me, *sigh* Where is she? She’s supposed to pick me up by now.” I said, looking at my phone, “Who is ‘She’?” You may ask, you’ll learn about her later.
—
Sending To: Oki
“School’s over, where are you?”
—
I text her, no response.
“Ah well… I’ll just kill time.” I say walking away.
[Kanden Junior High (Roof), Okinawa [3:22 PM]
I walk up multiple flights of stairs to the roof of the school, the breeze blows my hair back as I look towards the sky, I smile with certainty.
This is the place I usually hung out, no risk of running into creepy kidnappers and it’s near the school’s wifi, it’s the perfect secret base!
I look over the railing, and glance at the vast sea in the distance, “That speech that the principal gave us, I wish it lasted a little bit longer, but now that I think about it, yeah! The future, my future, is in the palm of my very hands!” I say, holding my palm towards the sky,
“Everything I want to accomplish in life, making friends, getting a good job, heck, maybe even a girlfriend that loves me, *chuckle* I’d think that’s not too far away!” I laugh to myself,
“From this day forward, if it means chasing my dreams and achieving my goals, I will help out everyone I possibly can!-”
Gleam!
I start levitating, feeling a weird tingling sensation moving throughout my body. I tried to move my body, but I was in a seizure-like state, unable to move my limbs. “W-Why can’t I move!?! What’s h-happening to me?!?” I say, fear creeping up on me,
GLEAM!
My body starts glowing brightly, as bright as a star in the middle of the night,
I try flailing my arms and legs, but still, I’m unable to move my body.
The people below start to notice me, and pointing at my glowing
“Woah, what’s going on up there?”
“It’s so bright! It hurts to look at it!”
“What’s causing that?”
GLEAM!
The glow shone even more bright, to the point of all I could see was a white void around me.
“HELP! SOMEBODY! HELP!” I screamed out, but the intense glow drowned out my screams.
Suddenly, an energy gushed through my veins, like a dam collapsing to the ocean it was trying to hold back, I was finally overtaken by this energy.
Little did I know, this event would change the course of my whole life.
The people I meet, the decisions I make, the things I will experience.
Everything changed in this instant, the future is bright!
This is the story of how I became a Star. A light to all!
