Isaac awakens finding himself on the shore of a strange beach. The moon hangs high in the air as he picks himself up and checks his surroundings. Panic comes over him quickly as he looks around before finding Xia unconscious at his feet. He helps her up and drags her away from the water as the two sit on the beach.
“What happened?” Xia asks, waking up.
“I don’t know. The last thing I remember was….” Pain shoots through his head and he stumbles over.
Xia shoots up, grabbing him. “Isaac!”
“It’s fine. My head… something seems to have happened, but I can’t remember what….” He stares up at the sky, looking at the moon hanging high overhead with not a star in the sky. “Wasn’t… wasn’t the sun out when we were on the water?”

“Huh?”
“The sun. The sun was out before, but now the moon and it’s a full moon. The other night it was just a crescent, wasn’t it?”
Xia stares at the sky. “You’re right but….”
A roar comes from behind the pair and they shoot up. Behind them, a large forest sits with the trees themselves shaking as a roar echoes.
“We can save the moon for later. We have to figure out what happened to us and how we got here.” Xia says.
Isaac nods. “We also have to figure out where here even is.”
Xia grabs the sword from her waist. “At least I still have this. We can still defend ourselves if need be.”
“Right. Xia let’s go. We’re going to figure this out. At least that witch shouldn’t be able to find us here.”
“Hopefully. But we can’t let our guard down. We have no idea what to expect from this strange island.”
Isaac nods. “I know. We only have each other to rely on.”
“Don’t worry. We’ll get out of here and then we’ll avenge our allies against that woman!”
“We’ll take down the witch and then I’ll take the others out and then I’ll be the one on the throne.”
“That’s right. You will become the king. I promise I’ll make it so.”
