“Wake up quickly! Wake up! Troops are invading sire… get your kingdom ready!”
“Troops… did I leave the game on all night?” Erick rubbed his eyes, opening them to five little green goblins by his feet. “Excuse me, but why are you guys dressed up, and why are you yelling at me?”
“It’s because you’re the king sire… You drank too much last night and fell asleep. If we didn’t wake you, who would build the gates to protect our kingdom?”
<
<
<
“Yeah, who put you up to this little green guys? Did you put some sort of device in my ear?” Erick cracked his neck and got off of his chair, stumbling out the doorway and into the world.
There was a strange countdown clock in the sky, hovering up above his head. It really showed only four minutes left before the raid would be here.
Erick Brighten dropped back in shock as he saw the timer counting down. He crawled on his hands and his feet like a four-legged spider before a series of screams could be heard in the distance.
<
<
“You know… Usually when you wake up in the morning you expect pancakes and sausage in the morning… not an army of whatever those things are!”

“Okay… sure… I’ll just believe that I got transported into a video game when I was sleeping… Let me at least pinch myself first… ow!”
Erick grimaced in pain before he focused on trying to build a barracks. In just a second, the barracks was erected. It looked like the sped-up version of a house’s actual construction.
The five goblins had been the ones that set to work… They seemed to turn into lines of green light, and then a second later the building was standing.
<
<
“I don’t think I really have a choice… the countdown only has one minute left… Of course I want to hire the soldiers!”
<
<
“No, I’ll take the first option… 10 swords and 10 pick axes… please don’t make this situation any more complicated than it already is.”

“Let’s go with the Velvet Militia… their troops have over 15 extra stat points compared to the other two… you agree with me right?”
<
“Stick with Velvet Militia, then, quick! The countdown only has 20 seconds remaining….”
<
<
“Obviously!” Erick Brighton saw nearly 1000 slime zombies running up the hill only twenty meters away from where he was. The sun above them was blazing down and the trees behind them were shaking from their strides.
They had on shinning leather armor, and small axes on their backs. As they were approaching the twenty soldiers from Velvet Militia rushed out from the barracks and towards the incoming slimes.
<
<
“I didn’t have a lot of time to figure out how to place the fences perfectly… So what happens if I lose the battle? Do I respawn, or go back to Earth… Do I wake up? No one besides goblins and a voice in my head have talked to me!”
<
“Necromancer? I don’t remember there being a necromancer in World of Lorestan… Was it available in the next patch?”
<
<<18 of your soldiers are still remaining… Chances of victory if things remain the same is 10 percent.>>
“ugh… have them form a line in the middle of those feces I’ve built… Luckily, I’ve spent enough time in history class to know how to make advantage of a small amount of troops.”
<
“it does look like the World of Loretta interface, okay…” Erick somehow clicked in his mind and dragged the troops with his cursor, and then selected to move them over to the fences. They rushed to the location that Erick had selected, and were immediately followed by over 800 zombies.
Countless red numbers could be seen inside his head that he couldn’t see when his eyes were open. Those were all the remaining health bars of the zombies, including the exact damage his troops were able to dish out.
His soldiers did roughly 30 damage each attack, and took about five damage every time they got hit. Using a switching tactic, he made all the ones losing health go to the back before summoning the other two to the front.

“That sounds so strange!” Erick clicked on himself to see if any of his stats loaded. Sure enough, like in World of Lorenstan his stats loaded immediately.

“I’ll go with shovel… however, can really command myself… how can I fight with my eyes closed?”
< It almost seemed like he entered into a little command room, and he was just one of the characters on the screen to command. His soldiers were currently running out of health, and he charged up to them to save the day. Clicking on his attack list, all that seemed to be available was smash, and he used it liberally on the horde of zombies still remaining. < < < “Great, I can’t believe I’m actually doing this! I thought it would be much harder to survive the first wave… Looks like things are going to go smooth from here on out.” < <<
