“Oh, Sahil.”
“Why don’t you sit over here, Lemon? Let’s discuss things together during this session.”
Sahil and Barton had already arrived, and, unsurprisingly, they were the center of attention. Ugh, does he really have to be so friendly, especially with Sahil?
Now that I think about it, where’s Merdi? I thought she’d be with Rose or sticking close to Barton.
“Lemon, hello!!”
“Who's th—Oh, yes. Hi.”
How does she always manage to sneak up behind me like that?
Merdi walked past me with a smile and took her seat. I glanced at her nervously before sitting next to Rose, leaving an empty seat between us.
“HmmHmmm~~”
I can’t see her. I can’t hear her. Merdi isn’t here.
I tried my best to ignore her and opened the tactical table. There hadn’t been any updates since I submitted the report, so I didn’t know what had happened with the first scenario.
The system suggested contacting the administrator, but I hadn’t received any response.
“Why is this class suddenly a joint session? Did something happen?”
“Considering that updates to some battlefields have been cut off, it might be related.”
“But what does that have to do with a joint session?”
Normally, Rose would be enjoying dessert right about now. It’s no wonder she seemed annoyed, missing out on one of the greatest pleasures in life.
“Oh, they’re coming.”
The instructors entered the classroom. Without a word, they started playing a video.
The footage showed a fierce battle on a battlefield.
“What is this?”
“It’s the planet Hurnschia,” Barton was the first to recognize it.
The strange yellow sky and the presence of two satellites—one glowing red and the other white—were characteristic of the planet used in many of our scenarios.
‘…Is that the 22nd Platoon?’
I recognized some of the soldiers in the video. They were members of the 22nd Platoon, the group I had been most focused on.
“Who are those people…?”
“Do you know something?”
“Aren’t those faces familiar?”
It wasn’t just the 22nd Platoon. All the platoons that had appeared in our scenarios and were located near that area were gathered there.
Stolen from Royal Road, this story should be reported if encountered on Amazon.
The battle grew more intense. Not only did 1st and 2nd-degree threat-level aliens appear, but also 3rd and 4th-degree creatures began to swarm the battlefield.
This was a force capable of toppling an entire city in an instant.
But the military force opposing them was even stronger. As if they had mobilized all available firepower, they overwhelmed the aliens. Even superhumans appeared to effectively take down high-risk entities.
“Wow… That’s amazing!”
“Well done!”
Cheers erupted. The cadets, who had endured gruesome scenes for so long, were thrilled by the sight of overwhelming firepower.
‘Could it be…?’
I instinctively looked toward the instructors. As if on cue, they all met my gaze.

"Blonde hair and golden eyes. He's definitely a Monarch."
"Wasn't it said that even among the direct bloodline, golden eyes are rare these days?"
"Not just rare. I've heard that he's the only one."
The four instructors in charge of RTA tactics were focusing on one cadet.
Leonard Monarch, with his abundantly shining golden hair and golden eyes that seemed to glow alone in the darkness, reminded them of the ancient title of the Golden-Eyed King, the ancestor of Monarchs—a true powerhouse who took down a 12th-class variant.
"How intriguing. The data I reviewed clearly classified him as a member from a collateral bloodline."
"Isn't this actually good news for us? It means there's room to probe."
"That's true."
A middle-aged man, who had retired with the highest rank among them, nodded in agreement.
As a former commander known for his reputation during active service, he was particularly interested in Leonard among the four.
"But still, for such a young child to produce such a high-level tactical report... it's surprising."
"This isn’t a result that could have been achieved by chance, right? Could it be related to 'them'?"
"We've already reviewed it multiple times. Even 'Mimir' found no particular issues in their assessment of Leonard Monarch as a human resource."
The man showed a surprised reaction.
To think it was important enough to even utilize Mimir.
No, it's not surprising.
Considering the importance of academy cadets to the Human Alliance, it’s understandable.
Especially in a case like this.
The man looked back at the video that was heading toward its climax.
"Whew... Just how far are these monsters planning to evolve?"
From the bottom of the earth, blown open by firepower, something enormous was crawling up.
It was a gigantic Alien.
Moreover, it was a new species making its appearance for the first time.
"Has it been named?"
"Yes."
"What is it?"
"They're calling it a Land Crawler. A 10th class variant."
"A fitting name."
In the video, the Land Crawler was shown getting wounded by the military firepower that had been prepared in advance.
Even though it was forcefully pulled out before becoming a complete entity, it was still formidable.
“Had it been fully developed, its power would be equal to a 12th class variant.”
Had they underestimated the situation and gathered less firepower, they would have faced an outcome too dreadful to imagine.
"Does humanity still have hope...?"
"Humanity will prevail. They'll make sure of that."
"...Indeed. We should raise a toast this evening."
"I’ll join you."
The video ended with the scene of the Land Crawler letting out its final scream as it collapsed.
---
All the cadets in the lecture hall were captivated by the video.
A new species that had never been discovered before.
And one that, at a glance, boasted an incredible visual impact—it was impossible to look away from the appearance of this Alien.
‘Huh...? Why is that there?’
I was surprised for a different reason.
The Land Crawler.
This massive entity, also known as the terrestrial carrier of the Aliens, was a Class 10 threat that presented the Human Alliance with a new level of shock.
The original work probably mentioned it appearing around this time, but I never imagined it would suddenly show up like this.
‘Is this why they gathered us for a joint class?’
The meaning of a Class 10 threat is more significant than one might think.
Especially since the Land Crawler, as a single entity, can exhibit more production capability than an entire breeding ground colony combined.
Its defensive capabilities are also among the highest in its class—truly a terrifying creature.
‘What’s even more terrifying is that if it evolves from here, it’ll be flying through space.’
I don't even want to imagine that.
At that point, we'd be witnessing Aliens falling from the sky like rain.
Anyway, thanks to the early discovery, the planet Frunshea narrowly avoided a major crisis.
