Let's get down to buisness, shall we?
As you know, for the past several weeks I have been sporadic with my chapter releases. This is more due to real life than anything else, and the fact is that my current schedule, 3 chapter parts on monday, wednesday and friday, just isn’t compatible at the moment. So, I’m going to be testing out several different schedules for the next few weeks, to see what will work and what won’t.
I’ll also, sadly, not be posting any chapter this week as I know for the next two I won’t be able to write much of anything. Therefore, I am taking the rest of the week to write two more chapters to release sometime the following weekend.
Though, this announcement isn’t just for that.
I’ve also been working on a project recently, one that has been a long time coming and something I have been thinking out carefully. This would be my new fiction Djinn. Fear not, though! For I am not abandoning Katra, in fact, my focus (and undead-like writing stamina and wicked mind) shall remain on writing Katra.
This story originates from a different website. Ensure the author gets the support they deserve by reading it there.
So, about the new story.
It is called Djinn, and no, it’s not about genies. Well, not really. It’s about spirits, and spirit warriors. You could call it my take on the LitRPG genre, mixed with my special concoction of writing style and the Epic Fantasy genre, along with a bit of xianxia. Djinn takes place after the events of Katra, which means, hint hint, wink wink, nudge nudge, that there may be a few things about what is to come in Katra. Ahahaha!
Currently, Djinn is not my focus, only a side project to stimulate my brain. I know it’s times like these that writer’s block hits hard, far into the story, and I recently experienced it. So, every once and awhile I will be taking a break from Katra to write up a chapter or two of Djinn. I’ve yet to set a schedule for Djinn’s chapter releases, and don’t plan to till I finish Katra.
Fear not though, those of you thinking the end is nigh with Katra. For it couldn’t be farther away. Ahahahahahaha!
