Kai left the principal's office and went to his house. When he got home, he realised that Emma, Kevin, Melony and Jack were not home. Jace and Lena were fighting outside the house, learning each other's weak points. The others had migrated to a land where he could not find them no matter how much he searched. He looked under the seat. He looked behind the door. He looked in the attic. Kai smiled when he realised everyone had fled. But he didn't care much. He quickly got ready and went outside. His footsteps were hard on the ground. He was full of confidence. Proud that people were even looking at him. No doubt he was a genius. Without a doubt, he was the best in this academy.
He was very interested in becoming King. If he became king, his development speed would increase greatly. After this potential increase, he didn't need the power of the geniuses in the academy. He could win the world tournament on his own. In the current situation, this was what he needed the most. If there was only one King, it would be much easier to split the heavens.
Once outside, Kai headed towards the hill outside the academy. Although he was on foot, each step was equal to the running speed of someone at the head of the blue lightning. He travelled without stumbling. It was one with his speed. He was not unbalanced. It was like a flexible tyre. He needed explosive power to get up the hill. Soon he reached the top.
When he reached the top, he saw the black-haired boy once more. He seemed to be lying in the same way, watching the sky. But he was actually drawing energy into his body while lying down. His eyes, which normally looked blue, were closed this time and he had a satisfied smile on his face. Kai was also satisfied with his success.
Kai came to Quentin's bedside and stood in front of him. Quentin hadn't noticed him again. Kai didn't expect him to. There was more than a lightning bolt of power difference between them.
"Quentin." Quentin opened his eyes when Kai spoke calmly. The smile was gone from his face. Jealousy was visible in his eyes. His peace was disturbed and the energy that had suddenly entered his body was gone. Kai's power level bothered him a lot. So much so that even when he came here, he spent a lot of time focusing and getting stronger.
"You monster! " exclaimed Quentin. "So you were at the peak of the green lightning. We didn't stand a chance against you. You were only fooling us. You were playing us. " Kai shook his head from side to side, but didn't answer that question. He turned round and started down the hill.
"I have a development plan that I plan to do these days. In short, if you are energised by the phenomena that may occur, take the opportunity," Kai said. He continued walking. He took swaying steps down the hill. The wind hitting his face made his blonde hair wavy and revealed his face full of seriousness and youth. He had a calm smile on his face. As Quentin looked after him, he really couldn't help but be surprised at the boy in front of him. Still, he didn't think much of it and lay back down on the grass. But this time his focus was also deeper into the hill where the energy was coming from.
As Kai went deeper, he could feel something shift in his body with the sensation he felt. A pressure, an intensity. It was a powerful effect that pressed, or rather whipped, his aura from all sides. Sweat poured down Kai's forehead first. Then his neck and chest. His steps slowed. Soon he was moving as slowly as a normal person.
During this period of time, Kai remained at the peak of the green lightning. But even at this stage, he had progressed a little. If there was such a thing as the middle of the peak in his development. Kai would have passed this stage by now.
"The energy of emotions is very intense here. If I go further, perhaps I can reach a much better level. I can reach the orange lightning bolt much faster than my masters expected." Kai sped up out of curiosity and stopped in front of a cave at the bottom of the hill. It was ordinary and unobtrusive, filled with grey rocks, but Kai could see a white light shining inside. Something told him not to enter the cave. Even so, he couldn't resist the lure of the energy. The energy leaking out of the cave was so strong that Kai almost felt as if he could reach the orange lightning at half a step.
Kai entered the cave and continued to be surprised by the energy that filled him as he progressed. As he moved further into the cave, the colour of the walls and rocks around him grew lighter and whiter. What had only been an opening of a few metres had quickly turned into a corridor of several tens of metres. The sharp stones under his feet flattened and the walls became flatter. It was turning from natural to artificial.
"What is this?" Kai didn't know what the source of this energy was. Just because it was making him stronger didn't necessarily mean it was a good thing. Just then a voice rose in his mind in response.
"I don't know where this place is, but it's a very useful place for you. We have decided to make a change in our plans. If you train here for 3 months, it can really benefit you a lot. So your training will continue here. Of course, it can be a dangerous place. " said Diana. Kai was surprised to hear this. For a moment it occurred to him to bring his friends here, but Auron was firmly against it.
"Stupid boy! Do you really think this place is safe? You only got in here because you fulfilled the conditions. You only got here because you were lucky enough to be born a Kingslayer. Don't think that you came to a place with this level of purity with your own abilities. Naturally, your friends won't make it this far. "
