Chapter 53: Talk With Siblings

He left the phone in the dressing room. He went back there. It was an existing but unused space.

Kai called Lily first. Who knew if he missed his sister more than the others?

"Lily?" Kai asked, wondering if he was calling correctly, when an excited girl's scream sounded from the other side of the phone.

"KAI! Damn brat why don't you ever call us. You only called my mum! Why don't you call us?!" Kai laughed.

"I didn't have time. There was a tournament. Getting stronger and stuff. So you were out of my mind. " With the voice on the other end of the phone, Kai took the phone away from his ear.

"HOW ARE WE OUT OF YOUR MIND, BOY!!! PEOPLE CALL AND ASK!!! Anyway, tell us what happened." Kai was stunned when Lily suddenly calmed down. She laughed bitterly. What a strange personality she had. It was like that anger was completely fake. It was like she was putting on an act.

"Okay, then. When we first got here...." Kai talked about what happened for a while. Of course, he cut out most of it and didn't mention his masters.

"That's how it happened. How are things over there?" There was silence for a while after Kai asked about the situation.

"Kai... The others don't want me to tell you this, but I think you should know."

"Three weeks after you left, things started to change with Sam. He got angry a lot, he couldn't control himself, he became like you in a way. The way he was then... Mum and Dad don't plan to send him to the gym like they did with you. One day my dad suggested he meditate. So he shouted and went to his room. In the morning we woke up to a crackling sound. I went straight to Sam's room. His eyes were glowing, and there was a lightning bolt right under his eye. But it wasn't complete. He was halfway through. His nerves seemed to have calmed down a little bit. It was very strange, the lightning. I thought it was a dream. He kept on meditating without stopping. There were a few more crackling noises, but only once did his eyes light up. We couldn't find out what it was. I think you might have an idea about it."

Kai was stunned by what he had just heard. He could understand what had happened. It was obvious what it was. He was using the energy in his body to jump degrees. He had already reached the peak of Yellow Lightning. and he was only 13 years old! Kai didn't think others were like him. He immediately asked excitedly.

"Lily, what about you? Do you have something?" After some mumbling, Lily's voice was heard.

"Well, I think there's something going on with me and Matt too. Even Dean's acting a little weird. I feel like he's a bit of a coward, not like the brave boy who stood up to you that day. I know he still loves me, but... It's just a little too emotional. "

"I turned into a very curious person without realising it. I'm interested in everything. At least that's what the others said. I feel something inside me. It's pressurising me. He wants out. But I don't know how to get it out. Matt feels the same way. He's just different. He... I don't know, he's gotten too comfortable. Sometimes he doesn't come home after school. He goes up to the hills of Seattle and just sits down. I heard a cracking sound from him once, but he told me it wasn't anything like that and went back to what he was doing. What do you think is going on? Did something occur to you? " Kai started to laugh at Lily's innocent question. Although Lily didn't understand what was happening, she could understand that Kai had learnt something from what he said.

" Hahahaha. Before I tell you, did you hear a crackling sound or anything like that from Dean?" Kai was trying hard not to laugh. He understood his brothers, but if his boyfriend was doing the same thing, he would die laughing.

"Why? Yeah, I saw his eyes glowing and a lightning bolt inside him once, but he told me I was hallucinating." Kai couldn't take it anymore and started laughing like crazy.

"Sis, I didn't think you'd be so naive, those three are getting stronger like me. You'll probably come to the academy next year. They also wanted to get a head start. The reason they didn't tell you is that they wanted to be stronger than you. All 3 of them deceived you. Hahaha..." While Kai continued to laugh, Lily was trying to digest what she heard on the other side.

"Do you remember the way I told my mum about the power-up? The degrees and the lightning bolts. I think they've thought about what's going to happen and they're already preparing for it. Of course, if they've reached the peak of yellow lightning, they're all good enough right now. Lily, you'd better start meditating soon. " said Kai.

"Those bastards.... I'm going to beat them so badly that they won't recover for a month. "Kai laughed calmly again.

"You can't catch them in their current state. You have to be stronger than them to catch them. "

"Then I'll be strong. I'm going to kill them. I'm going to meditate soon, but before I do, I want you to know that the weirdness in this house doesn't end there."

"My dad and mum are too calm. I feel like they know something. Do you know anything about this?" said Lily. Kai stood where he was for a moment, thinking, then turned back to the phone.

"Probably nothing. Go ahead, never mind. I'll send you some books to learn about the academy and this world, and I'll talk to Michael. He is the director of this academy."

"All right, then. I'm not with the others. So if you want to talk to them, call them! I'm going to start meditating!" Kai smiled. The way he looked now, it was as if he hadn't just tortured Raiya. Lily would be worried about her brother if she knew that. This unstable mood was not a good sign.

"See you later, sis." With Kai's soft voice, Lily also softened a little.

"Bye Kai." Kai sighed deeply after hanging up the phone.

"How sad. They won't be able to participate in the World Tournament. I might not be able to see them for years.... It doesn't matter anyway. I have billions of years of life. I'll be with them for a long time."

At that time, a girl was sitting in front of the television in a house in Seattle. Her blonde hair was on her shoulders. Her beauty was perfect enough to set countries against each other. Her blue eyes were now shining with anger.

"So you're fooling me! We'll see who's fooling who." Lily got up and grabbed her things.

"Dean, I'm leaving! I've got an emergency! Bye!" Lily was out the door and on her way home before Dean could answer.

"Kai would kill you if he knew I was with you. I'm mad at you, but I don't want you to die." she said and quickly walked away.

When we return to where Kai is, we see Kai talking on his phone in his hand again.

"So you broke up. There is nothing to do, you can love another person now. That's your fate." Kai said.

"By the way, guess what." Sam's voice had an excited tone.

"What happened? Or did you reach the peak of the yellow lightning on your path of progress?"

"H-how do you know?"

"Thanks to Lily. It's easy for me to understand even if you don't. I'll organise a place for you, and I'll send you a book to learn the basics. You'll learn more when you get here," Kai said. Sam sighed deeply on the other side of the phone.

"Kai, we always owe you money. When are we going to pay these debts?" A sincere little smile formed on Kai's face.

"My brothers don't owe me anything. I'm sure you'll have plenty of time to do me a favour." After saying goodbye to Sam, Kai got up from his seat and started heading towards the arena. He didn't have time to call Matt either. He proceeded to the field in a relaxed manner.

"I have a tournament to win."
