Following the subsequent days, it became apparent that a storm would approach as the sky darkened. Julie proposed taking a detour to the Bahamian island en route to their destination, suggesting that it would provide an opportunity for the men to unwind while allowing time for strategizing.
As soon as the island came into sight, a surge of hope overcame the men. A group of approximately 200 individuals disembarked on Nassau Island.
“This is the capital’s birthplace, a man said”
Aiden, who helped with the loading, heard the conversation. He looked for Julie outside but couldn't find her. Instead, he observed a few of his fellow comrades entering a particular establishment. Intrigued, Aiden decided to follow suit.
The entrance of the building bore the label "brothel." As he entered the dimly lit premises, a haze of smoke filled the air, accompanied by the sound of music being played by a group. Numerous women paraded around, unabashedly displaying their bodies, causing Aiden to blush and avert his gaze.
Within moments, he heard a familiar voice, accompanied by laughter. Aiden ventured a few steps forward and caught sight of the captain, surrounded by unfamiliar faces. They reveled, imbibed, and some even indulged in smoking.
Aiden, possessing striking appeal, found himself quickly approached by a young and attractive woman. She possessed captivating green eyes and cascading brown hair. Feeling embarrassed, he tried to make his way towards the captain.
"Come on now, don't you wanna have some fun?" The woman suggested, r
" I want to have fun with the captain"
" it seems like the captain is already having fun. You don't want to be a nuisance to her, do you?" Insisted the girl. Running her hand along Aiden's pants, hinting at a "something very eager for fun".
"come with me, Ilet us have some fun as well"
He followed the woman down a corridor, where the distant sounds of moaning could be heard. Intrigued by curiosity, Aiden peered through a crack and witnessed a scene unfolding before his eyes. Two of his fellow crew members seemed to be engaged in playful "horsehide game" with the women.
"Don't tell me you've never..." the woman uttered with a smile, while whispered to Aiden. "Courtesy of the house,".
The woman closed in, brushing her lips against Aiden's body, and as she knelt down, unbuttoning his pants, he became aware of another presence just ahead.
it was the captain who had left to go to the bathroom, which was outside the brothel.
Aiden trailed behind Julie, using her as a shield against the young prostitute.
The captain found it funny that Aiden was scared, not of the girl, but the situation his body was in.
"Hay Aiden, go have som' fun," Julie said as she walked.
Aiden experienced a pang of sadness, as if something was amiss. His chest ached, feeling betrayed by Julie.
"The captain won't defend me anymore?" he pondered.
As Julie turned her back and walked away, the young woman approached Aiden.

"Where did we stop?" the young woman asked, touching him.
Aiden's appearance transformed, exuding a cold and eerie aura. it was as if he was gradually becoming Maximilian, the cold navy's commandant who displayed pirates' heads on city entrances and hung their bodies.
He firmly grasped the girl's wrist, staring into her eyes, causing her to tremble and stumble backwards.
Then, he sought out Julie, seething with anger.
He walked toward the same path she had taken, eventually coming across a stable. Spotting a light, he entered.
No animals were present, only hay covered the floor of the aged space. Aiden noticed Julie's boots resting on the ground and, tracing his gaze upward, spotted a mezzanine. Two feet emerged from the mezzanine, followed by a head peering downstairs. It was Julie.
"Never pegged ya as the quick type, boy," she remarked.
He scowled at her before she extended her hand, inviting him to join her on the mezzanine.
As he ascended the mezzanine and approached the light, he noticed something peculiar. The walls were adorned with drawings, letters, and markings reminiscent of those found in the captain's quarters. It was like a miniature replica of the captain's cabin. "So she lived here?" he thought to himself.
"I only just arrived... in search of someone," replied the captain, her expression desolate.
Aiden wrapped his arms around her waist, and she gently ran her fingers through his hair, caressing it.
"I'll show ya something, if it's still intact," she said.
The captain reached toward the ceiling, pushing here and there until a section opened up.
A hole appeared in the ceiling, and the captain entered, followed by Aiden.
From this vantage point, one could behold the vast expanse of the ocean.
"I used to come here every morning, awaiting..." she exhaled "a particular pirate."
"It's a splendid sight, captain, but when one lies down, it becomes even more so."
The captain couldn't comprehend, and Aiden ushered her to the ground. In a reclining position, he directed her attention to a crevice where numerous stars were visible.
"The sky extends far beyond the sea."
"I would prefer someone like the captain dreaming of something even greater, considering the captain already possesses the sea."
For a moment, it all appeared rather amusing, and Julie rose to her feet.
However, Aiden's eyes gazed upon her like a forlorn puppy. He knelt down, resembling the appearance of an actual puppy.
"Is it still painful?" Aiden inquired, gesturing to the wound.
"Why, do ya feel responsible?"
"Yes, and if there is anything I can do..."
Julie thought for a second, removed her sock and extended her foot to Aiden, her expression serious.
Remaining on his knees, he gently held it and, locking eyes with the captain, kissed her foot before rising to her knees, studying her face as if seeking permission.
Then the captain approached, lowering a strap and revealing a scar that remained bandaged, indicating ongoing discomfort. Aiden tenderly kissed it.
"And here," Julie said, loosening her blouse even further and sitting on Aiden's lap...
