'Journey's Ends Act 1: The Earth'
by Adrian Ariti, on May 4, 2045
In a realm afar, where wars entwine,
'Gainst Empress's tyranny, do rebels fight,
For Caverrin's strife, a quest defined,
To grant eleven heroes, their destined might.
AN, a rebel member, bold and bright,
Stole an ancient artifact, powers to bestow,
On Earth, their kin in shadows alight,
Chosen by aspects, a story to show,
Their destinies entwined, in a journey's flow.
Kanji, leader, Energy's binding rope,
Sets forth to gather, from lands near and far,
Claire, joyful, Creation's hope,
Dave, chill, Form's biggest star.
Amelia, noble, Reality's avatar,
Sarah, edgy, Fiction's embrace,
Noah, silent, Emotion's card,
Diana, brave in Law's firm grace,
Adrian, Knowledge's knight, in wisdom's space.

Azan, realist, carries Change's foresight,
Mina, in Time's embrace, provides cheer,
Gwen, cold and kind, Destruction's might,
United by fate, in Earth's frontier.
Their bonds tested, in battles severe,
The Empress's general, their path to fight,
With soldiers, cultists, tricks of fear,
Yet through strife, their unity bright,
In every challenge, a beacon's light.
Trials endured, in reflections deep,
Powers honed, through character's grace,
Allies found, secrets to keep,
In Kroma's kin, a faithful embrace.
Tom, vengeful, joins the race,
'Gainst Eusocial cult's darkened fold,
Heroes, with courage, set the pace,
Their final stand, brave and bold,
With John Calsion's defeat, victory foretold.
Parting ways, with allies dear,
They seize the cult's ship, to the stars they soar,
Empress's general, in pursuit, appears,
With fleet amassed, to even the score.
Earthas, an ancient god, awakens once more,
Heroes shielded, their enemies blocked its mighty strikes,
Survive the storm, taking advantage ashore,
Defeat the general, in a quick fight,
One journey ends, on a starry night.
Adrian "Whew!.... That was.... amazing! Greatest writing session ever! I can't believe I've made a successful parody of Edmund Spenser's 'The Faerie Queen'. The rhyming part and structure are easy but trying to summarise our adventure was too hard. But... thanks to that name, I finally have the inspiration to finish. I'm satisfied... No. Something is missing from this Act. I think it is perfect but that's just my opinion. That's right, the value of your story can only be determined by others. That's what dad used to say. I'll do it tomorrow. Time to get a little shut-eye."
