|.......|

In a far-off place, a young woman of 18 lays on her bed in comfort. What kind of dreams does she have? Only she knows, but one thing is certain - they bring her joy.

As she stirs awake, the sounds of nature flood her senses, a sea breeze carrying the scent of salty air into her room. It's like waking up in a fairy tale. Her eyes adjust to the light streaming through the open window, revealing sky-blue walls and countless pieces of art that adorn them. The artwork brings her comfort, a way to escape a dark past.

She gazes at a portrait of a man, the renowned French artist, Claude Monet.

?? "Sorry, great grandfather."

Despite her artistic heritage, this young lady has forged her own path in the world of art. While her great-grandfather was famous for his impressionist paintings, she has made a name for herself by creating anime and fantasy-inspired illustrations.

As she settles into her desk, she opens up her various social media pages and is met with an overwhelming number of followers - millions on each platform. It's clear that her unique style has captured the hearts of fans around the world, even though she rarely shows her face to the public.

Today, however, is not about work. She's expecting a special someone, and all thoughts of drawing and designing are pushed to the back of her mind.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In Japan, a young man falls off a tree.

?? "Ouch!"

?? "Ah, Kanji you're awake."

Kanji "Yep, I guess. Man, that was a good slumber. I think it's a good time to get going. Right, AN?"

Kanji stands up and retrieves a small, pitch-black orb from his backpack, fitting snugly in his palm.

AN "What is that, Kanji?"

Kanji "It is a device that displays a holographic world map of Earth and illustrates details such as air currents, tides, rain probability, temperature, and more through geological data."

AN "That is quite useful. But before we move on... something strange happened."

Kanji "What?"

AN "You see the panel that I'm observing you with. It now has a cursor which I can move by using the relic like a mouse."

Kanji "Strange. When did this happen?"

AN "Right after you got awakened, but we got so side-tracked with our conversation that I didn't notice it."

Kanji "Ummm, perhaps every time an aspect user is awakened new features are added to the viewing device. Like updating programs or games for new features."

AN "Your hypothesis seems valid, Kanji."

Kanji "Is there anything else on the screen?"

AN "Actually yeah! There is an "I" icon in the bottom left corner. I should probably click it."

AN clicks on the mysterious icon.

AN "Woah!"

The screen is suddenly bombarded with a barrage of blue boxes, covering the entire display.

AN "Holy shit! What's all this?! Wait... is that all of your information?"

Kanji "Hey, what?! Excuse me but that seems like a breach of privacy."

He said nervously, hoping for a good response.

AN "Nevermind, it only shows what I know about you. So your secrets are safe."

Kanji "Whew."

Curious, AN begins to surf through more tabs. One tab reveals some of his personal history, while another showcases his clothing and equipment.

Finally, AN stumbles upon a tab labeled "Perks".

AN "One of the tabs is called "Perks", and it seems your group has 2 more other given abilities other than "Rejuvenation"."

Kanji "Wait... really? Please tell."

AN "Yep, They are called "Special immunity" and "Enhanced Stats". Special immunity makes you resist any kind of poison, toxins, gas, or venom. As for the other, you are just faster and stronger."

Kanji "All these perks seem very overpowered, a tad bit overboard to be precise."

AN "To my guess, you are granted this many perks because of your enemies. In the past, wielders were given perks depending on how strong their adversaries were. Some got Flight and some can even breathe in space!"

Kanji "This means our enemy is very fucking strong... Aren't they?"

AN "I can definitely vouch for that statement."

Kanji "Alright, I guess it is time for me to depart from Kyushu."

AN "Do you know who you are going to get first?"

Kanji "Last night, I privately sent each of them a specific number, the lowest number goes first. And yes, I do know who."

As Kanji experiences a warm feeling stirring within his heart, he instinctively points his right hand in a specific direction.

Kanji "Over there is the country of love where a girl whom my heart longs for lives. For 8 long years, we were far apart, today we will no longer be."

AN "Oh, If she is your lover. Then I think I know what aspect she might be."

Kanji "Wait... wait! Wait, What? What do you mean by that?! Are you suggesting that my relationship only exists because of what aspect I am?!"

AN "Woah calm down! It's not like that at all! In fact, it's the opposite."

Ka: "Care to elaborate."

AN "The relic chooses people because they are compatible or already in a relationship. Every aspect has another aspect as a partner."

Kanji "So in this case, The Aspect of Energy lines up with another aspect huh."

AN "No, your case is quite complex. You see The Aspect of Energy enters a harmonious three-way relationship which can either consist of three boys, three girls, two boys and one girl, or even two girls and one boy."

Kanji "Ok, but that would make one person in the group, "Single". No...wait, it actually makes sense as the Aspect of Fate would be the lone one out."

AN "Yes, exactly! But we should leave the subject of romance later. For now, we should focus on how to get to France. I presume... that is the country you described."

Kanji "Correct! And I got an idea to get there! Basically, I will become one with energy itself."

AN "What do you mean?"

Kanji "I mean I can turn myself into electricity and use the electrical lines to travel to France."

AN "I don't think using the electrical lines can get you that far and it would be impossible to travel using temperature."

Kanji smirks.

Kanji "Watch and learn."

Kanji changes the map on his device to display the world's air currents, allowing him to navigate and control his own movement through the air. With a relaxed body, he feels himself melding into the cool, open air, drifting effortlessly in a westerly direction toward Europe.

Kanji now knows

  |2. Energy Travel|

After several hours of drifting, The Aspect of Energy finally washes up unconscious on the shores of Corsica, France.

Slowly, he stirs awake and regains consciousness. Shaken but determined, he stands up and brushes off the sand clinging to his pants, ready to explore his surroundings.

Kanji "Woah! Where are we?!"

AN "We are apparently in Corsica. One of the many great coastal regions of France."

Kanji gazes at his map, seeking confirmation, but his attention is quickly drawn to something else.

Kanji "It's fucking late noon! Was I really unconscious for that long?"

AN "Yep. I guess that ability couldn't keep up with the distance between here and Japan."

Suddenly, an alarm blares from Kanji's backpack.

With a frantic scramble, he digs through his bag until he finds the source of the disturbance - a small, red blinking button. But what caused it? His heart races as he contemplates the possibilities...

Kanji "My anti-spyware device. Shit! Someone is watching us!"

He suddenly notices a girl staring at him from one of the coastal house balconies. They exchange curious glances.

AN also sees the girl.

However, as quickly as she appeared, the girl retreats into her room, leaving Kanji and AN to ponder.

Kanji "Let's check it out."

With caution, Kanji approaches the tall coastal home, noting its standard design and structure, nothing out of the ordinary. Taking a deep breath, he approaches the front door and knocks.

?? "Coming!"

A cheerful voice giggles from beyond the door.

Kanji "Wait, This voice is--"

The door dramatically swings open, revealing a stunning young lady with long, cotton candy pink hair flowing brilliantly in the wind. Her eyes are as blue as the open sky above, and she stands playfully with an air of confidence and charm.

Her outfit is eye-catching, with an orange sweater over a yellow t-shirt, a short blue skirt, long white socks, and red sneakers.

Her "More specific features" are regular size.

She greets Kanji with a warm smile, he feels a sense of familiarity wash over him as if he's reconnected with a childhood friend who had moved away long ago. Her smile brings a sense of comfort and ease, and he can't help but return the gesture.

?? "I'm so happy to see you in person, Kanji..."

The girl tips her head to the right in a playful demeanor.

?? "... Kimura."

Kanji "Wait...How did you know my...You know what never mind."

Kanji can't help but stare at the girl's sweater, which he had made for her four years prior to a certain event. This special sweater switches between many of her artworks each day. Today, it features a crudely drawn sunflower with rainbow petals.

As he looks up to meet her gaze, their eyes lock, and for a moment, everything else fades away. They stand there in silence, lost in each other's eyes.

Kanji "It's been a long time since we... talked, Claire."

Feeling a bit awkward, both Kanji and Claire blush. However, the tension is soon broken when Claire reaches out and grabs Kanji's right hand tightly, pulling him away.

Claire "Come on, I'll show you my room!"

Following Claire's lead, Kanji ascends the stairs and enters her bedroom, which is exactly what he expected an artist's room to look like - filled with paints, brushes, and of course artwork. Lots of them.

He can't help but notice the portrait of Claude Monet above her bed.

Kanji "Wait, you're actually his great-granddaughter! I thought you were just joking around when you told everyone."

Claire "Of course I am. Dummy."

Claire pouts like a little kid, displaying a cute impression of anger that leaves Kanji slightly amused. However, his attention is quickly drawn to a stack of novels sticking out from under her bed, which he tries to take a look at.

Before he can get a proper glimpse, Claire dashes in and spin-kicks the novels back underneath the bed.

Claire "Nope! There's nothing there! Y-You didn't see anything."

The author's tale has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon.

Claire nervously spoke up, hoping Kanji would ignore the stack of novels under her bed. Kanji, assuming they're just her diaries, disregards them and moves on.

Unbeknownst to him, those novels are actually Claire's fanfics about herself and Kanji. Feeling embarrassed, Claire secretly puts them into an orange backpack, hoping Kanji won't find them.

Kanji "Umm, Claire. The reason for me to pick everyone up is becau-

Claire puts her finger over his lips.

Claire "Kanji, you are always so serious and all like getting to the bottom of this and that. Why don't we just chill? Besides, aren't you forgetting something?"

Claire looks at Kanji expectantly, waiting for him to answer. He begins to sweat nervously, feeling the pressure of her gaze. Finally, he responds with...

Kanji "Ummm, today is your Deviantart milestone."

He said as he glanced over her shoulder at her computer screen.

Claire "Oh come on! You promised that we have a date if we meet up in real life."

Kanji "Sorry."

Claire "I forgive you!"

Claire grabs Kanji's arm once more, leading him out of her room and down the road towards a town square nearby.

Claire "Over there!"

Claire points to a small cafe called "Détendez-Vous," and they take a seat at an outdoor table. The staff there seem friendly and familiar with Claire, suggesting that she comes to this cafe often.

Kanji can't help but feel intrigued by the cafe's cozy ambiance and the warm smiles of the staff. He wonders what kind of memories Claire has made here.

Kanji "How are you feeling?"

Claire "I'm good, but I'm now great! Especially with you finally being here with me! It was so depressing being alone. Like you know... in real life."

Kanji "True."

As they sip their coffee, Kanji and Claire laugh and continue to talk, delving into topics such as movies, games, and anime. They chat away for hours, lost in each other's company and enjoying the pleasant atmosphere of the cafe.

Kanji ".....Demon Vanquisher is awesome anime, you should watch it."

Claire "Maybe Kanji, you and I can watch it to-ge-ther."

He gently lays his left hand over hers.

Kanji "Sure, why-

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

A sudden impact rocks the town square, leaving them both startled. They look towards the source of the noise and see a large crater in the ground, with four knight-looking individuals emerging from a metal pod.

Claire quickly pulls Kanji into a nearby alley. They hide behind a nearby dumpster and slowly fade out of view from the knights.

Kanji "Claire, what is going on?!"

Claire "Don't worry Kanji, The police can take care of it! My dreams were right! But there is no way some alien invasion can stop this date!"

Claire raises her fist in a fit of brief anger. Kanji, still confused about the situation, leads Claire out of the alleyway and towards a small bridge that spans a long and crystal-clear waterway.

Claire looks at Kanji.

Claire "I guess you want answers... huh."

Kanji "Yes!"

Claire "..... fine. AN! I know you're there!"

AN "Oh umm. Sorry, I didn't want to interrupt your time of adorable moments."

Claire "It's fine."

Kanji waits for an explanation.

Claire "Ok, so I have dreams... dreams that for some reason show me the future."

Kanji "Are they perhaps images or something else?"

Claire "No, there are scenarios like videos playing over and over. All of them show what is going to happen today."

AN interrupts.

AN "Well, fuck. I forgot to tell you about the wielder's dream."

Kanji/Claire: "The wielder's dream?"

AN "As you know, there are 12 aspects. Six are active and Six are passive. The active aspects have images as their dreams that show something of great importance that will happen in the far future. While passive aspects have scenarios that will happen soon but lack relevancy."

Kanji "Welp. There go years of theory crafting gone in an instant, just like that."

Kanji's frustration boils over as he delivers a swift kick to the ground, but his anger is no match for Claire's comforting gesture as she places her arm around his shoulders.

Claire "Cheer up. Kaney."

Kanji "Hah, You combined Kanji and honey. That's clever."

As he steals a glance at Claire, Kanji's downtrodden expression transforms into a smile. To his surprise, she doesn't appear taken aback at all.

Ka: "You knew what was going to happen. Didn't you? And that's how you know my last name?"

Claire "Yep! Sorry for hiding it, Kaney. I guess we can't delay this any longer. AN activate my powers."

AN gives a nod of approval before spinning the relic with a practiced hand.

The emblem of a delicate flower comes into view, surrounded by a vibrant orange glow as a line winds its way around the diagonal axis in an infinite loop.

Without hesitation, AN presses the relic in.

Suddenly, a panel left of Kanji's panel lights up, revealing a live feed of Claire.

Kanji watches in amazement as she lifts off the ground, levitating gracefully before gently returning to the bridge below.

AN "Congratulation! You're now the aspect of |o| Creation |o|"

Claire "Cool!"

Kanji looks closely around her body.

Kanji "None of her body parts changed!"

Claire "Are you suuure?"

To Kanji's surprise, Claire grins mischievously and tears off a piece of her hair, shoving it into his mouth.

Kanji "What the.....Wait, this tastes sweet."

Claire "My hair is made of cotton candy!"

Claire takes a large bite out of her hair, shocking Kanji as he watches it grow back instantly.

He reaches out to touch and inspect the newly grown hair. It feels and smells like normal hair, but tastes like cotton candy.

AN "Do you want to know how your powers work, Miss Claire?"

Claire "Nope. I already know from my dreams but explain it anyway..."

She then hugs Kanji.

Claire "... for Kaney."

Kanji "Doesn't her powers work the same way?"

AN "No, some aspects don't work well with the whole one skill per day system. So some have a uniquely different scaling system."

AN adds on.

AN "Let's start with the crystals. Each crystal gives her new skills. It starts with Create, Absorb, Change, Fusion, and then Conjure."

"Each day, she is allowed 5 slots to create any objects as long as she has seen and touched said object once before. She is allowed to create one item per slot unless it is something that allows other objects to function like ammo or batteries. In this case, the amount she can create is equal to the max amount of slots she has."

"Furthermore, Each crystal also increases the maximum slots by 5."

Kanji "That is... pretty crazy. So what are you going to crea-

As he turns, he is surprised to see her holding a crossbow with bolts at the ready. Dressed in a sleek black cloak and equipped with an ammo pouch. Claire nonchalantly consumes a donut.

Claire "How do I look?"

She said, her mouth full of bready goodness.

Kanji "Hot and cool. What should we do now?"

Claire leans uncomfortably close to Kanji, her lips almost brushing against his ear as she whispers in a hushed tone.

Claire ["I know what to do."]

Kanji is stunned by her words and remains frozen in place, unable to respond. After a moment, Claire slowly moves back.

Claire "I have a gift for Kan. Ji."

She dashes forward aiming herself toward his lips.

Claire "Un bisou mon amour."

Kanji instinctively dodges to the left, Claire loses her footing and trips.

However, he catches her by the waist and leans in for a counter-attack, a French kiss specifically.

After a mere 12 seconds, they collapse onto the ground, drenched in sweat and gasping for air. As they catch their breath, they share a gaze, locked in the moment.

Claire "THAT wasn't fair!"

Her cheeks turned as red as a ripe tomato as she spoke.

Kanji "Says the girl who knows the future. I say we are even."

Laughter erupts from her lips and Kanji joins in, their joy infectious. With renewed energy, they lift each other up.

AN "You guys know I saw all of that, right?"

Kanji "Shit! We forgot AN is watching."

AN "Don't worry I won't tell anymore. Hehehe."

Emerging from the same alley that the two had just left, a trio of girls appears at a leisurely pace. Claire's eyes lock onto them and she recognizes them instantly.

Claire "Oh no. Not those douches."

Kanji follows her gaze and his eyes land on the trio of cheerleaders. One with vibrant orange pigtails, another with short black hair, and the third with cascading, curly brown locks.

The orange one looks at Kanji.

"Holy shit! Your imaginary boyfriend is real!"

Kanji whispers to Claire.

Kanji ["Who are these three?"]

Claire whispers back.

Claire ["Rich assholes who think they can get away with anything. They have a track record of making lots of kids commit death because of their bullying. I'm currently their favorite target which is why I rarely go outside these days."]

Her once bright and cheerful expression fades, replaced by a dreary and downcast gaze. The vibrant and lively Claire that he had seen just moments before is now replaced by a somber and despondent version of herself.

Despite this, she continues to speak.

Claire "I was once a carefree, naive, and happy young girl who was always optimistic and loved many things in life. When they showed up and started picking on me, I lost my spark and fell into depression for years, and nearly became another victim of their doing. I couldn't even make friends."

Trembling, she grasps his hand tightly and meets his gaze with a mix of joy and tears streaming down her face.

Claire "You gave me the power to rediscover my past and gave me hope from in that ocean of despair."

Noticing the two whispering, the cheerleader with orange hair becomes visibly annoyed and the trio saunters over toward Kanji.

"Hey, handsome. How about you and I ditch this bitch loser."

Kanji's rage boils over as he draws out a glinting silver chain, brandishing it towards her throat with furious intensity. The chain's impact tears into her flesh, slicing open her neck and causing her head to drop limply to the ground like a discarded toy. Her lifeless body crumples and tumbles into the nearby waterway, a torrent of crimson blood spilling out and staining the once-clear waters a deep, haunting red.

The other two onlookers stand frozen, their faces twisted in terror as they slowly begin to back away from the gruesome scene before them.

In the distance, a police officer catches sight of the violent act, his eyes widening in shock as he rushes towards the scene, radio in hand.

"Hey! Put your hands up!"

Kanji's fingers fumble into his pocket, retrieving a curious, crimson card emblazoned with the word "France".

The police officer's eyes widen with a mixture of fear and relief as he catches sight of the red card in Kanji's hand. With a sense of urgency, he moves quickly to apprehend the two girls, taking them into custody as he glances back at Kanji, his mind racing with a sense of trepidation.

Kanji shouts.

Kanji "Tell your president. He is safe from my wrath!"

With a nod of assurance, the police officer guides the two trembling girls away from the scene, their fear palpable as they leave the area with haste.

Kanji turns his gaze towards Claire. Despite the violence he has just unleashed, she stands before him unfazed.

Kanji "You aren't afraid of what I did. Is it because you saw it many times already or because she deserves it?"

Claire "Both. But no matter what you do I will always believe in you."

Kanji "I guess I have to explain this huh."

Claire "Yep! Mysterious backstory time!"

Kanji "Okay, in short, I was in World War III."

He looks at Claire expecting her to respond but she doesn't.

Kanji "Let's start from the beginning..."

At the age of 14, Kanji aspired to join the Japanese military, seeking to find fulfillment in this path. Although the minimum age requirement for enlistment was 18, he was determined to serve and became an exception to the rule. Despite being offered special privileges by the government, Kanji declined and insisted on undergoing the same rigorous training as any other soldier, earning him a great deal of respect from his peers.

During his time in the military, Kanji not only learned hand-to-hand combat but also developed a unique fighting style utilizing a metal chain. With extensive practice and training, he achieved mastery over his craft and could instantly position the chain to block bullets, thanks to his lightning-fast reflexes. In addition, he honed his technique to the point where he could wield the chain to slice through targets instead of simply striking them. This, combined with his tungsten-infused silver chain, proved to be a powerful combination that allowed him to survive the intense battles of the upcoming war.

On August 25, 2041, tensions between the United States and Russia reached a boiling point, resulting in a declaration of war. The conflict was to be waged without the use of nuclear weapons, and no other nations were willing to intervene. Tragically, just 30 days into the war, a catastrophic event occurred. Both nations had secretly launched stealth missiles, but due to a fatal error, the missiles collided over Tokyo, resulting in the deaths of millions of innocent civilians. The devastating loss of life was felt around the world, as the repercussions of this tragedy were far-reaching and long-lasting.

The horrific incident in Tokyo caused a global outrage, as people around the world were devastated by the loss of so many innocent lives. In response, every nation on the planet turned against the United States and Russia, declaring war on them both. This marked the beginning of World War III.

Kanji was thrown into the chaos of war when Russian troops invaded his hometown of Kyushu in the dead of winter. This was the first time he had experienced true hardship and pain, but he refused to give up. Over the next three months, he fought with all his might, saving his fellow soldiers at every turn. Kanji utilized his intellect and quick thinking to achieve his goals and protect his home, and he emerged as a skilled and fearless soldier. Despite suffering serious injuries, including the loss of his left leg and multiple bullet wounds, he never gave up. Thankfully, with the help of advanced medical technology, Kanji was able to fully recover from his injuries, leaving no visible scars.

Kanji's incredible skills and value to Japan had not gone unnoticed by the higher-ups, who were determined to keep him safe while also utilizing his talents to their fullest potential. A thought came to their minds, "Many great geniuses throughout the ages used their minds to discover and invent new things through science."

"What if they used their minds in the art of warfare?"

With this in mind, they presented Kanji with every war-related record in human history, which he managed to memorize in an astonishing two days. Drawing upon his incredible talent for creative thinking, Kanji began developing a series of unconventional military tactics that no one had ever heard of before. When put to the test, these tactics proved to be incredibly effective, and Japan emerged victorious from all subsequent conflicts with ease. The results were so absurd and unexpected that they were almost comical.

In the final stages of the war, Russia and America reached their breaking point and launched two massive hydrogen bombs on Japan. As the Japanese people braced themselves for the worst, memories of the devastating bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki filled their minds.

But to their surprise, the bombs exploded high in the sky, causing no harm to the people or infrastructure below.

Kanji recognized that his innovative tactics and technology would not be enough to ensure Japan's safety in the long term. In a bold move, he initiated a top-secret project known as "Mass Bug." On the day before the missile launch, trillions of nanobots were released into the world, infiltrating all military bases, intelligence centers, and nuclear warhead storage facilities. Since nano-detection devices did not yet exist, the nanobots were virtually invisible.

As a demonstration of their power, Japan detonated all of the Russian and American nuclear bombs, obliterating their military bases and sending shockwaves throughout the world. The display of dominance and military might sparked a newfound fear and respect for Japan.

This is it, Japan actually had the power to rule the world.

However, a global movement emerged to put an end to war once and for all. Billions of people from around the world joined forces to support this cause, with the overwhelming majority of the Japanese population in favor of it. However, the government and higher-ups were resistant to this idea, leading to a historic moment in which the will of the people clashed with the interests of those in power. This conflict served as a powerful reminder of the importance of democracy and the need for people to have a say in shaping their own future.

Future generations would look back on this moment as a critical turning point in the history of Earth.

After the global movement to end wars gained momentum, a peace conference was held, and Kanji's involvement in the war was finally revealed. In recognition of his contributions to Japan's success in the war, the governments involved in the conflict formed a treaty that prohibited Kanji from participating in any future wars.

However, Kanji agreed to sign the treaty only under two conditions. Firstly, he requested that his involvement in the war be kept a secret, as he wished to live a quiet life away from the spotlight. Secondly, he asked for a special card that would allow him to kill one person for each country. This was a significant request, but the governments involved ultimately agreed to it.

Claire/AN: "Wow!"

The two are in awe.

Kanji "Wait. I thought Claire that you would know about this in your dreams."

Claire "No, my dreams don't show EVERYTHING that happens today."

Kanji "Ah I see. How about you AN? What do you think?"

AN "That was quite an awesome story, Kanji!"

AN applauds with enthusiasm.

Kanji gazes toward the direction of the town square.

Kanji "I think we should go back there and see if everything's alright."

Claire "Nah! It's ok Kanji! I saw that they dealt with the soldiers easily."

Kanji "Umm, ok. I'll trust your word on that."

Kanji and Claire exit the premises and make their way back to Claire's house, where they spend the rest of the day indulging in video games and candy until they both drift off to sleep.

Meanwhile, the situation at the town square is dire.

The ground is littered with the charred remains of twenty officers, while the injured chief locks eyes with the sole surviving imperial soldier.

"What the hell are you? ANSWER ME, YOU BASTARD!!!"

"Ha...hahaha. You apes don't deserve an answ-

The chief aims his firearm at the soldier's visor and fires at point-blank range, causing the soldier's body to collapse onto the ground.

"Time to see what kind of terrorist organization you belong to."

He takes off the helmet.

"What in the bloody fuck?!!"

He quickly steps away from the scene, but as he does, he hears footsteps approaching from behind.

?? "Aha! A wonderful gift from our Lord and savior ke ke ke."

As the chief turns around, he comes face to face with a man adorned in a voluminous red robe, sporting a makeshift metallic antenna resembling that of an ant's. Only the man's hands, sandals, and lower face are visible from beneath his attire.

"WHO ARE YOU?!"

The chief raises his firearm, training it on the mysterious figure, his demeanor calm and collected despite the tense situation.

?? "Why, I am of course the one who has been blessed by her holiness's divine presence?"

The chief's composure slips and panic sets in as he pulls the trigger. But just as the gunshot echoes through the air, another figure clad in a robe intervenes and takes the bullet. The mysterious man turns to see his fallen comrade, revealing the insignia of a ten-legged ant on his own robe, visible to the chief.

?? "Don't worry my son. Your contribution will be carried and told."

The man spreads his arms wide and whirls around, facing the chief with an air of animosity.

"You however have broken this peaceful greeting of mine. Retribution must be served!!"

As the chief takes in his surroundings, he hears the thundering sound of footsteps surrounding him. One by one, more individuals in similar garb flood into the town square.

The strange man raises both hands and shouts,

?? "BEE FORMATION!"

Their hands transform into stinger-like daggers as they charge toward the chief.

Overcome with fear, the chief fires his weapon blindly and screams at his attackers, but his cries gradually fade as he is overrun by the sea of red cloth.

When the dust settles, no bodies are found, and no witnesses come forward. The people of Corsica come to know of this strange and eerie occurrence as "The Void Square Incident."
