[Hey, even writers and creative artists have to do homework sometimes. Write about doing laundry, dishes, and other cleaning activities.]
For as powerful as I may be, those are battles I never want to fight. Most of my foes might be physically weak, but their attacks all affect the mind, a part of me I find very difficult keeping in good shape.
Laundry tests my patience, with how I must wait for the load to finish its cycles, then return to continue the process with another machine. Why don’t I set alarms or something to remind me? My lack of ability to remember to do it…
Vacuuming tests my perception, as I must go over every piece of the house, lest evoke my parents’ rage. Every single clump of cat fur, every speck of dust, it all must be secured within the vacuum or my superiors release their wrath on me…

Sorting clothes and other things just bore me to death! I must take an object, then find somewhere to place it, hundreds of times! Okay, maybe not that many, but it’s still bothersome…
Now, getting into the territory of the more fiendish chores…
Dishes attack my mental and physical state, as the act bores me more than sorting clothes! But it does more, because I must stand while I do it, hurting my back and shoulders! Ooooh the misery! Why don’t I distract myself with videos while I clean? I do… Why don’t I sit in a chair when I clean? I can’t! There’s no way I can avoid the pain of washing the damned dishes!
But of course, the greatest offending chore is most definitely mowing grass. The other chores are all bad enough with all the ways they manage to attack both my mind and body, but mowing takes it to an entirely new level! Mowing the lawn…can only be done outside, under the fiery rays of the sun! Yes, it’s a tragedy, for I must suffer heat, exhaustion, AND back pains from the one chore! Never MIND that it’s so boring! If it weren’t so damn painful and uncomfortable to mow grass, I’d be happy to do it so that no one else had to! But no, it’s horrible.
