Interlude: Three Worlds Genesis

— Three Worlds Genesis —

In the beginning was the Father, the Creator. He forged the World and all its light and splendor, but became dissatisfied, and destroyed and remade it anew. For cycles repeated, each World remade, but each World, no more perfect than had before remained. In his frustrated madness, forgotten was his count, and the void that remained became the Zero of all memory.

Growing tired, He sealed the Zeroth World and made the first of his daughters. “Go and make the perfect World,” He ordered, and so She obliged. She made a World where all things fell in line, and all things worked in perfect harmony.

The Father saw this and frowned. “There is no splendor in what you have made. This World is a lifeless machine,” He said, destroying this World, sending Her into a bottomless melancholy.

He made the second of his daughters and ordered, “Go and make the perfect World,” to which She obliged. Every thought She had, She made unto the World, making it a frightful barrage of colors, but nothing She made lasted for long.

Stolen from its original source, this story is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.

The Father saw this and frowned. “There is no permanence in what you have made,” He said. He forced Her to watch as Her world crumbled from its own unplanned design, sending Her into a bottomless insanity.

The Father saw the Sisters in their despair and offered them hope. “Go together and make the perfect World,” He ordered. The Sisters obliged, marrying their powers to create a vibrant World, where chaos birthed curiosity, then fell into marching order and harmony.

The Sisters explored the world they had made. Their creations, themselves, created things that interested the Sisters. From their creations, the Sisters learned the finesse of thought and technique. From their creations, the Sisters discovered powers beyond even their Father.

The Sisters were satisfied, and for a time, it was interesting, but the Father watched, and He decided that it was not enough. He sent forth an army of angels to remake creation anew. The Sisters wept, saved what they could, while half the world slept, and half the world burned.

The Sisters dared and broke taboo, bringing the fire of conscience to even the smallest shrew. When creation awoke, creation rebelled, and on the Mount of Armageddon, an infinitum of stars aligned in heaven, the Sisters struck down their Father and His hypocrisy, for his Love of Perfection had eclipsed his Love of Creation.

The Sisters wept. This World is gone. They took what they could, so too the Forge of Creation. They sealed away the Broken World along with their Father’s avenging angels, making the Second World...their creation’s salvation.
