Chapter 9.5: That Beautiful Person

Takastuki Wataru POV

Hello there, my name is Takasuki Wataru. Due to my parents’ job I need to change school and go to the land of Fukuroi. Quite honestly, I don’t really like the idea of changing school since I would be leaving my real friends here and be a stranger elsewhere but since I’m a kid and still can’t do anything, I have no choice but to come along.

Being in a new school and be a transfer student at that there must be one crucial thing that must be made and that is The First Impression. My school life is at stake if I don’t make if memorable to them. Well after settling down to our new home, we talk about many things at dinner mostly about what’s the dos and don’ts and also other things.

“Mika, Wataru, make sure that your things for tomorrow are ready…” (Dad)

“Yes dad, don’t worry” (Mika, Wataru)

“Wataru, make sure not to cause trouble. I know that this is not what you want but bear with it for the time being and who knows, you might meet someone you will be interested to…” (Dad)

“Dad!” (Wataru)

“Hahahaha, alright alright but still you never know what will be waiting for you there so make sure you don’t regret anything.” (Dad)

“Yes Dad!” (Wataru)

That night I slept soundly but as soon as the sun rises the next morning, I could feel butterflies squirming inside my stomach. Even so I pull myself to get ready and somehow, I am able to get ready in time. Everyone in the house is a bit busy so instead of my parents sending me to school, my big sister, Mika, is the one who took me.

Arriving to my new school, this is where everything feels real. I feel so alienated, well I guess that’s an obvious fact since I’m new but still. Anyway we went to the teacher’s office and Mika-nee talk to my teacher, not long she also went to school but not before reminding me not to cause trouble. Well I was a bit early so the teacher told me to look around if I wanted but he also reminded me not to go too far but I told the teacher that I’d rather stay put until the bell rings.

So now I am waiting for the bell to ring outside of the teacher’s office, when I saw a very beautiful person walking towards a classroom down the hallway. I only caught a glimpse of the person but I know that the person is very beautiful. The aura alone can testify for that person’s beauty. I am awestruck for who knows how long, I just came to my senses when the teacher urges me to follow her. Heck I didn’t even notice the bell rang already.

While walking the conversation with dad suddenly pop out…

“Wataru, make sure not to cause trouble. I know that this is not what you want but bear with it for the time being and who knows, you might meet someone you will be interested to…” (Dad)

Upon remembering it, I felt heat rush to my face. Then I heard the teacher told me that we are almost there so I took the chance to compose myself and erase the fleeting thought. When I heard the teacher asking me to come in, I took a deep breath and open the door.

I already have my introduction planned out, I already decided to go with the simple and good boy attitude as a first impression but as soon as I faced my new classmates, I saw the beautiful person once more and this time I confirmed that the person is more than what I have imagined earlier.

I am once again awestruck of the person’s beauty, that my original plan for my introduction became trash and all my adrenaline rush out of my system.

“My name is Takastuki Wataru and I’m AWESOME so you guys better follow me!” (Wataru)

After introducing myself, the teacher asks me to take a seat. Throughout the morning, my vision keeps on shifting to that person as I lament on my epic introduction that I just did. Due to my endless worrying, I didn’t notice that its already lunch time.

I didn’t know that this new school of mine have a lunch system since in my old school, we just bring our own bento or just buy something in the cafeteria. I am hoping to do the latter since mom wasn’t able to pack me a bento for today since everyone is busy with the moving and all.

So when they ask me for lunch money, I wasn’t able to give some since my money wasn’t enough. I tried to tell them but my new classmates didn’t understand. Thus making me look like a bad person. It wasn’t my intention not to give so when someone said that I should borrow money from one of them temporary, my eyes immediately took me to that person.

[This is my chance to talk to that person] is what I thought so I gather my courage and went to that person’s desk. I was planning on asking him nicely if I could borrow some money but what I thought and what I said were completely opposite.

“Hey give me some money, you look like you have plenty of them..” (Wataru)

[I blew it. I bet my impression in that person’s eye went down to negative] (Wataru)

I waited for that person to speak but instead someone else stood in front of that person. It’s a boy with wavy black hair and a pair of emerald eyes which are now glaring at me. His aura reminds me of those guard dogs. Then out of nowhere he started shouting or rather barking at me, not only that another boy with brown hair and black eyes also began speaking.

[Wh-What is happening?! Did I do something wrong??] (Wataru)

“HOW DARE YOU!! HOW DARE YOU ASK MONEY FROM SEI-SAMA!!” (Chika)

“Now, now, Chika this little “SQUIRT” is new and he DOESN’T know anything so calm down for a bit… and as for you “SQUIRT” we need to have a little TALK about manners that needs to be followed inside the room” (Kazu)

I can feel that both of them are super mad especially the brown haired one. His speech says it all, it is like how my mom talk to me whenever I did something wrong. But being unsure of what is happening, I tried to ask them what’s the matter but in the end it also came out differently.

“W-What the heck is wrong with you two?! I’m not asking you guys but him! So bug off!” (Wataru)

But upon hearing what I said made everything worse. I am already waiting for a fight to break between us when that person spoke and called out the names of this two hotheaded boys.

Then he stared at the two of them until the both of them back down. Soon someone lend me some money for lunch and thus the incident stop at that but the whole day, I once again tried to talk to that person but was stopped by those two until the last period ended and I am called by the teacher. I think it is about what happened during lunch but that didn’t bother me, all I want now is to apologize to that person.

After I went home, I told my mom what happened at school and of course I got an earful as well as reminding me to apologize to my classmates. Though she really doesn’t need to tell me since I really am planning to apologize, I just don’t know how will I do it.

Better start making a plan, and I got to make sure that I became friends with that beautiful person.

[Just you wait beautiful person, I’ll apologize tomorrow and you’ll be my friend] (Wataru)

But the sad reality hit me when every time I tried to talk to that person, there will be two people always guarding his side and in the end it took me weeks just to apologize.

“I guess it is true that beautiful people have bodyguards wherever they go…” (Wataru)

“Oh don’t mind it Takatsuki-kun, Chika-sama and Kazu-sama are just like that since you suddenly went on with Sei-sama on your first day” (Girl A)

“Sei-sama? Is that her name?” (Wataru)

“Hmm? Yes it is…” (Girl A)

[What a beautiful name for a beautiful girl… but why does it sound like a boy’s name? maybe it’s a short term for her name, how lovely~] (Wataru)

But soon reality hits me again when I found out that my beautiful person is actually a guy but no matter, I will still idolize him.
