JamBow: Forced To Live Inside The Game
Chapter 3: Got a Guild in the JamBow Game

Chapter 3: Got a Guild in the JamBow Game

"Meyumin!"

"Ouch!" He placed his shoulder over my back, pressing his weight.

"You're heavy!"

"That's rude! I do diet you know! It's rude to tell a guy he's heavy!!"

"A girl should be saying that!!"

This guy, just befriended me since yesterday when he passed the exam because of my smarts.

"Anyway! Teach me boss!!"

"No! I don't want to waste time teaching you, I have to go somewhere after school."

"Ehh~ don't tell me~ you have a DATE!!!"

"Of course I don't, idiot!!"

For some reason, after I started tutoring some of them for a few days, they got close to me. I didn't know they are so bad in science and some other subjects. I just memorize it though.

The girl and boys who I tutored this week of 'no work week' approached me, pleading for another session. Their persistence pushed me to a corner. I agreed, reluctantly.

3.1

"You've been bringing your classmates everyday now, did you stop being disgusting!?" she said in a harsh tone while watching television in the living room.

"Shut up! Messy woman!"

"Huh!!" We ignored her, walking to my room. "Hey! Come back here! I'll pull out all of your hair roots!!"

I really hate this. Why they keep coming! Argh!!

I closed the door behind me.

"Woah!" I immediately turned my head. H-h-he was holding my V.R. console!!! I forgot to hide it!!

I fell down on my knees in hopelessness.

"I didn't know you also play this game," he smiled holding up the box of JamBow.

"So what!"

"Want to play it together?" This is the second time someone asked me that. Why? Am I really that charismatic!!? Hehehehehehehehh!!!

"Fine," sigh.

"Me too." "Let me in!" All of them also wanted it. Don't know why. I really don't get these people.

"Later, we have to study first."

"You're right!"

"Anyway, can you introduce yourselves? I've been tutoring you all... but I don't know—"

"How mean! We spent a week together!!" It's only 4 days!

This is really tiring me out. Dealing with 2 boys and 1 girl. Sigh.

I sat down on the floor, looking downwards, trying to recover all my lost energy.

I couldn't hear a single sound. It's peaceful.

"...yumin! Hey!" Mey!"

Argh!!

"Wait. Let me recover my energy."

"O-okay.."

Upon recovering almost all my lost energy, I opened my eyes. There, all 3 of them are sitting in front of me. Forming a curved shape. All staring at me.

"W-what?" I asked.

"Hello Boss Meyumin. I am Jan Maxwell." He smiled, bobbing his head. His slightly grown hair fluttered in the air.

"I'm Lexi Well, Meyumin." His mouth is opened as usual, probably breathing through it. He got a buzz cut haircut.

"I'm Kimberly Jay.." she looked away from me, running her fingers through her wavy short brown hair.

"I-I see."

I folded my foldable bed. "Can you leave the room first?"

They nodded in response before exiting my room, closing the door.

I slid the curtains of my window to the side. Broomed the whole floor, setting a short wooden table in the middle of the room. Once the cleaning process was done, I opened the door.

They are all waiting there, sitting on the floor. "S-sorry. I'm done cleaning."

They walked inside, barefooted like myself.

We sat around the table, starting the study session.

"The conservation of energy states that energy can neither be destroyed nor created. So if we for example, placed a hot object in a space with no other matter except itself... it would retain that temperature for eternity. As long as it doesn't emit any energy as a radiation."

"I see," Lexi added, while holding his chin.

"Eh..." the other two looked at me in confusion.

"S-so... Ah! I see! I kind of get it!" Jan's eyes widened. "So... the sun is eternal!! I see..."

"No! It is releasing a lot of energy as radiation like light."

"Eh.. I thought I got it right..."

"It's fine. It's not even part of what we need to study."

"Pfft!" Kimberly who never talk during my tutoring sessions let out a small giggle, covering her mouth with a tube-like hand.

We turned our heads to her direction in synchrony.

"W-well let's start the real thing..."

3.2

"Done! We're finally done!" Jan exhaled in relief.

"Good job everyone."

"Thanks, Boss."

Now I can rest.

"I'll clean the rest, you can go home if you want," I said, collapsing on the floor. My back hit the floor making a loud thud sound.

I stared at the ceiling, waiting for them to pack up their things and leave.

"Aren't we going to play Boss?" a deep voice surprised me, pulling me out of my 2 seconds nap.

I pulled my body up with my abdominal muscles, slamming my hands on the table. "HUUHH!!?"

Jan looked at me, shocked, "Uh.. if you don't want then..."

"It's fine," I pulled out my V.R. console from the closet to my right.

"Did you brought yours?" I asked placing my console on top of the table along with its CPU.

They all stood up, walking over the backpacks they brought with them. They are prepared, did they perhaps planned this all?

The three of them walked back towards the desk, sitting down before placing their consoles along with their CPU. Their CPUs are all comparatively so many times smaller than mine, about 5 times smaller and lighter.

"Uh.. how much did your consoles cost?" I asked gripping mine.

"It's pretty expensive, It took me almost a year to save up," Jan answered, connecting his console to its CPU.

"How about you two?"

"My uncle bought it so I don't know," Lexi scratched his head.

"Uh.. i-it's..." Kimberly looked away. "It's about 20,000 nir," she turned her head, staring at the table.

T-twenty thousand nir!!! Mine doesn't even reach half of that price!! I mean it doesn't even scratch that!! You can literally live for half a year with that money without restraints and budget tightening!! Just how rich are these people!! Or maybe I'm just the poor one here. My laptop only cost 7,000 nir, it doesn't even reach half of that 20,000.

I coughed. Twice. "T-then, how do we know who we are in the game? Should we like... say a certain word when we enter the game? Or something..."

"Let's say 'are you a real cat girl' when we logged in and find someone," Jan suggested.

"W-why don't we just exchange usernames?"

"Yeah, you're right, Kimberly. It's very obvious why didn't I.. hehe nevermind," scratching my arm.

We plugged our consoles' CPUs in different sockets, turning the console on, charging it. Upon exchanging our usernames, we logged in, entering the game world.

3.3

Sound of water splashing reached my ears on my arrival in another world. In front of me, 3 people are there, talking. Their cursors are green.

I approached them, enough to get a read on their usernames.

"Kim Berry.

Jap a Niece.

Hana Kagami."

The very same usernames I am looking for.

"Hello!" I closed in my distance to them, allowing the system to make them hear me.

"Are you boss?"

I nodded.

Hana Kagami or Lexi Well chose a female character. Waist long silver blonde hair, clean bangs, and a red bathrobe-like clothing. Also, a good enough size of his asset, maybe it's a her. A good enough size of her assets.

Jap a Niece or Jan Maxwell has his usual slightly grown hair, his hair color is blond here. He has a full set of steel armor and a shield, his head left unprotected. Eyeglasses over his eyes, unusual for a world where my vision improved.

Kim Berry or Kimberly Jay. A small petite girl with a medium long straight black hair reaching down to the middle of her neck with neat bangs hiding her eyebrows. A black collar wrapping around her neck with a bell hanging down to her chest. She has full body armor with a black cape connected to the shoulders of it.

"H-hello! I finally arrived! How are you? Ehe ehe ehe...." Say something or I'll die from awkwardness!!

"Hey boss!"

"Hmm?" I tilted my head.

"Why don't we make a guild?" He looked at me, eager. "You be the guild leader.. then.. uh..."

What's so different from a party and a guild?

"Why a guild?" I asked.

"You can't have more than 3 people in a party," Jan lifted his eye glasses up and down acting smart.

"It doesn't suit you." He froze, like a statue, with his mouth wide open.

I walked towards Lexi, closing the distance between us, her, no, his chest... Her chest nearly touching mine.

"Are you gay?" He glared at me, piercing through my very fabric of existence. "Maybe a femboy."

"I am not a gay nor a femboy, I just want to try being a girl in the game... I mean it's normal. It's very common." He locked his arms together defensively. His voice sounded that of a girl, with a hint of his real voice.

"Then.. a pervert then," he looked at me with nothing but contempt as if I just did something to his mom.

"Listen," I pointed at him.

"What?"

"Your mom." I walked away from him, towards Kimberly.

"Hey! What do you mean by that? My mom what!?" These are just background noises! Nothing more nothing less.

"Uh.. Kimberly..." I looked around, scratching my cheek.

"Don't call me by my name here," her face covered with her two hands.

"S-sorry.." I pinned my vision to her. "B-Berry. Hi..." I don't know what to say. I only usually have never interacted with someone shy before except her.

With a long pause. The other two caught me off guard, grabbing me on both shoulders. A soft and warm sensation on my right and a hard and cold sensation on the left.

They can simulate it even in this game!!

"This is heaven and hell," I muttered.

I should stop being weird.

"Let me go, I have to create our guild don't I?" The restraints on both of my arms disappeared.

"Ehem! Sophia. Can I create a guild? How?"

If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.

"Same place as the log out button."

I think, all of this events just happened because I raised my hand that time. Why? Such a small action caused such a huge change in my day to day routine. Is this a butterfly effect?

"I named it Kookie. Now accept the invitations."

They nodded.

"Hana Kagami joined Kookie.

Jap a niece joined Kookie.

Kim Berry joined Kookie."

On the guild screen, their usernames, the health percentage, level, stamina percentage, armor percentage, and mana percentage are all there, displayed in a column.

"...still, I didn't know that I'd have to abandon my current mission just to fix my previous failures. Sigh!" A familiar voice came into my ears, from the direction of a huge crowd in front of us.

"Lia, what should we do about Meyumin?"

Me!? T-they're talking about me!! Wait Lia!!

"What's wrong?" Lexi asked.

"I'll abolish our party, I abandoned the mission after all."

"Shh! He's in our party right. He might be online right now, eavesdropping. Just remove him from the party already!"

"You have been kicked out from Lia Star's party," a screen appeared. Sigh.

My shoulders dropped, arching my body forward, sighing. I somehow feel defeated. Don't know why.

"I'm only level 4," sigh. "Lexi is 8, Jan 10, and Berry is 12," I sighed, depressed.

"It's okay boss!!" The usual loud voice. "We'll help you level up!"

"No thanks. I want to get stronger by my own," turning my head to the side. "I'm originally planning to... spend the rest of my day playing the game. Leveling up."

They probably feel bad now, right? Yeah they definitely do. I hope they will leave me by now.

"I see!" I rotated my head towards him. "Then, let's play tomorrow if not today!" Wooow! Soo proooactiiive...!

"Fine by me." I got up from the slouch posture, looking at them straight.

Upon waving goodbye. We all logged out.

"See you tomorrow, boss!" The three of them stood up, walking out of my room.

Hm?

Kimberly turned around. "Bye Meyumin," she waved at me before running after the two.

Peeking at the window. They all walked out of the house, outside of the gates, then walked in their separate paths.

Are they friends? Or leeches who wants my smarts? Stop! Here I go again! No wonder why I never have friends...

03/05/2075 18:43 EC / 05/04/047 JC

Upon my arrival inside the world I just came from, my feet brought me inside the dark and narrow alley where that weird girl resides.

Walking inside, the alley got narrower and darker until a barely visible figure appeared.

"Are you here to pay?" She asked. "You've been paying me these 3 weeks, this is the 4th. Are you sure you're not broke? How did you do it?" I'm 1 day late for payment due to school.

"Nothing special," I stared at her. "I just killed lots and lots of mobs then sell them. I have enough to pay you this week." Through the no work week, I paid her three times. I fortunately have the JamBow Date and Time App. If not for that I might have missed to pay them all.

I extended my arm with my hand containing the payment. She took each coin one by one, slowly, before looking up at me. "It is the correct amount. I shall record this," her hand which contains my payment shoved inside a pocket on one of her legs. "If you have any more business with me, please tell me," she smiled.

I have 17 gold coins and 37 copper coins left. I better save up again.

"Uh...so..," scratching my cheek. "Where do I get to fix my Scutia Body Armor? And all of the equipments I loaned?"

"Eh! You don't know?" She opened her mouth in O-shape, with her pointing finger over the bottom lips. Stop acting cute!!

"If it's only that then.. just go to a blacksmith over the city next to this town. I mean there are no blacksmiths here who can fix that complexity."

It matches with the information I gathered.

"But.. doesn't it.. I mean, shouldn't I be atleast level 10 to make it out of this town barely alive?"

"So what of it?" She closed the distance between her and my face. "You will level up as you made your way through the way there," she put back the distance between us earlier.

"Wouldn't I have to walk there over and over again? There's no save point in forests are there?"

"What are you talking about? That only applies to dungeons, towns, and cities."

"I see," I turned around. "Bye, I might not be able to pay my loan of I go there... so I'll postpone it for a while." I waved her a goodbye before walking out of the alley.

"I can't pay the loan nor can I play with those three tomorrow if I tried to go there by now," sigh. My equipments still have enough durability for me to level up.

Leveling up is useless. I only get new features. I never get stronger. And the higher the level, the larger the experience required.

"Level 2

– Mana Manipulation unlocked

– Mana Output unlocked

– Mana Restoration unlocked

– A.I. Assistant unlocked

Level 3

– Disassemble Items and Equipments Into 40% Of Its Parts Unlocked

– Increase Mana Output Efficiency to 19%

– Monster Wiki Update on Encounter Unlocked

Level 4

– Double Item Drop Unlocked

– Increase Mana Output Efficiency to 20%

– Advanced Monster Wiki Unlocked"

"So far, I can only manage level 2 monsters," sigh. I really just might not be suited to this type of game.

While self deprecating, I spotted Lia, walking down the streets alone. Catching my attention, numerous questions arose in my mind. Brisk walking towards her, stealthily, making sure she doesn't notice me.

"Lia," I approached her behind, tapping her nape.

"Waaaahhh!!!" She screamed, shocked.

This is my first time seeing her reacting like that.

I looked over to her, reading her username. "Liliana Fort Lv 17." It is definitely her, her character design is the same, and the username too.

"Uh.. who are you?" She doesn't know me? Wait! The tone she makes isn't like her.

"It's me Meyumin, you don't remember?" Tilting my head to the side. "Gah!"

"Gah?"

I just made a huge mistake!! Her face looks different now that I saw it up close. The size of her breast is also smaller. Wait! What am I talking about! The username is literally off!!

I fell down on my knees, depressed, ashamed.

That's right! Liliana's username is Lia Star not Liliana Fort!! Waah!! Noo!!!

I stood up quick, looking at her through her eyes. "Sorry, I thought you were someone else," thumbs up to her. How could I be so stupid!!

"Bye," I walked away from her, occasionally catching a glimpse of her.

"Wait!"

I turned around, confused as to why would she call out to a stranger who mistaken her for someone else.

She ran towards me, dropping all the weight on her foot alternatively, slowing her down while increasing the consumption of her stamina.

"I have a lot of questions to ask you. Please!" She held up my hand with both her hands. "Help me!" Eh!

"Uhh.. o-okay."

"Let's not stand around, I'll treat you to a coffee," she proposed.

We walked towards a café nearby. The atmosphere is very orange inside. There are people there, reading something which seem to be a real book, some are staring at the air, probably reading something on their user interface.

We sat down at the far corner behind, the counter next to us.

A person in a butler outfit approached us. "What would be your order?"

"2 coffees please."

Coffees?

"Wait," they both looked at me, almost simultaneously. "I'll just have a tea, my stomach hurts whenever I drink coffee."

"Okay, 1 coffee and 1 tea. I'll be back in a few seconds."

"Sir Meyumin," she looked at me, praying. "Please guide me in this game!"

Eh!

"Aren't you already level 17? Why do I.."

"It's not my account!" I nodded. "This is my grandma's account. This is the only memento she left," she looked down. "That's why I want to keep it running to not get suspended."

I see. "So your grandma is dead?"

Sorry for my bluntness.

"Yeah," she nodded.

"Here's your order," he placed both of our order in front of us. "That would be 16 silver coins in total. She paid him before taking a sip out of her mug of coffee.

The tea smells good. I took a sip.

"So.. what exactly do you need me to teach you?"

"EVERYTHING!" She slammed the table. "S-sorry, I got too excited."

"I'm busy today so, will you join us tomorrow?"

"Tomorrow? As in in real world tomorrow?"

"Yeah. Want to join my guild? I have friends who might be able to help you," scratching my cheek. "I mean, I'm also kind of new to this game, I've only been playing for atleast a week."

"Please!"

"There. I already sent the invitation."

"Liliana Fort joined Kookie."

"Then.. see you tomorrow. I'm logging out today," I gulped in all of the tea in the mug.

"Me too. See you tomorrow, my first friend." She disappeared in a flash of light radiating upwards before dissipating.

First friend?

3.5

All five of us in the Kookie guild gathered together, next to the spawn, a fountain.

"So..." Jan looked me in the eye, blinking rapidly. "... that's your girlfriend?"

"No," I pointed towards her direction. "She's our new guild member, she is—" Jan grabbed me, rotating around, putting his arm behind my neck. "Hey, you picking up chicks without telling us. Is this why you told us to log out yesterday?" he whispered.

"No, idiot," pushing him away from my personal space. "I just met her by accident. Yeah, a very embarrassing accident."

"Embarrassing accident?" He grinned.

"Your mind's too dirty, clean it occasionally."

"Gah!"

Well, I shouldn't be the one saying that when it applies to me.

"She is..." Wait, what's her name again? Hmm.. let me check the guild screen.

"I am Liliana Fort. Nice to meet you. I hope you help me learn this game." I looked towards her. That's right! Her name was literally just above her! Face slap.

"But you're already level 17," Lexi complained. "Are you looking down on us?"

Huh!?

"Anyway, why don't we discuss this somewhere with a seat and enclosed space," I got between them, proposing an idea.

"Y-yeah," Berry agreed.

"That's more like it! I know where! Follow me!" Jan turned his back to us, walking towards someplace.

We followed him, walking down a slopey alley, between an armor and a potion shop. The alley isn't too dark. There are some lights coming out from some areas on the walls.

At the areas where light comes from, doors are there, together with a sign, telling us its name and sevices.

"H-hey," Berry pulled a strand of hair from the back of Jan's hair.

He turned around. "Who did it?" I wonder how he noticed that.

"Are we not there yet?" Berry's straight back slouched forward.

"We're here," he pointed towards a door, covered in lines of gold. No light is coming out from it, except for the lights from the other doors.

We followed him inside. The place is lit up, purely by gas lamps. An NPC is standing there, on a desk, on our left. He was covered in a black business suit.

He looked at us, intensely. Big swollen eyebags under his eyes making him look so tired and unfriendly.

"We want a soundproof room with 2 sofas, a long table, and it must be well lit. It's 5 people," Jan took the initiative to answer, in detail.

"Order received. Just wait for a few minutes."

The staff, sat down, writing something.

"You very well know this place..." I commented.

He flashed us a smile, "Of course I do!" Pounding his chest once.

"Here, sir," the staff handed us a receipt.

"Order no. 12760

5 people × 5 SC = 25 SC

Class C Room × 1 = 150 SC

Total_______________ 175 SC"

Ehh!!

Jan faced us, his palms facing upwards reaching towards us, "Pay your share... 35 silver coins."

We paid the amount before heading towards the room after receiving the key to it.

Upon entering the said place, we sat down on our preferred spot. I sat down on a spot across Lexi. Liliana Fort, sat down near me with a breathable space.

image [https://nullme5.art.blog/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/28illustrations29jambow_03399499931390393025.jpg]

"Boss," he looked at me, with a serious face. "Why did you let her in without telling us?"

"Don't worry," I gave him a thumbs up. "We can still remove her from the guild."

"Oh!! I haven't thought of that!! Ahahahaha! That's boss for you."

"Liliana Fort.. can I just call you Lily?"

"Why?" She looked at me.

"Your username is identical to the name of one of my acquaintances so..." scratching my head, "It feels weird."

And her character design looks almost the same except that she has a smaller bust size, taller, longer hair, and have a higher level, and her equipments are different. Why did I thought it was her? And from afar!

"You can call me Lily."

Jan is looking at us, his face turning red. "What's wrong?" I asked.

He turned his head from side to side.

"This is ridiculous."

"What's wrong with you Lexi! It's romance you know!? Romance!"

"Yeah yeah! Romance your lizard brain." He moved, increasing the distance between them, pushing Berry to the end of the sofa. "S-sorry," he apologized, moving back to his previous spot.

"Anyway!" I clapped my hands. "Let's get into business shall we?"

"Y-yes boss!" Jan straightened his back.

"Ehem! Let me first introduce these three FRIENDS of mine." I raised my arm pointing at Jan, "He is Jap a Niece, but he's a good guy.. probably."

"Hey!"

"He is Lex– I mean, she is Hana Kagami. And she is Kim Berry."

"Nice to meet you all," she placed her hand on top of the table before standing up. "Please! Help me!"

"What does she mean by that?" Lexi turned to me.

"Eh.. you see.. ah! It's not her account, it's her grandmother's account who passed away."

Lexi nodded before opening his eyes again. " And you easily believed it?"

"Nope. You might not know this but.." I turned off Lily's ability to hear us. "I know who she is."

"Don't tell us here," Lexi warned.

"I muted her."

"If that's the case then..."

"By the way, why are you so wary of her?"

"N-nothing! It doesn't matter.. just tell us!"

"You know, that beautiful girl from the class next to ours," they nodded. "I heard a news this morning about her grandmother's death, it seems like she's been absent since the return of classes."

I slammed the table. "She's Camilla Rainfort! That beautiful girl! There's a probability that's her!"

"So.. why trust her?"

"If she had ever done something here. We can just search for her in real life to do some investigation."

"Then, why did you accepted her in the guild yesterday?"

"Intuition."

He sighed, slapping his face.

"Anyway Lexi."

"Hmm?"

"Why did you begged me to tutor you this whole week? I know you're smart enough to study those." I turned on Lily's hearing functions.

"This guy forced me to! Begging me to persuade you!" He pointed at Jan.

"You traitor!! Why did you do that!!??"

"I don't care! You're too bossy lizard head!!"

Sigh. These two, I never thought they are so familiar with each other.

"W-what happened?"

"Ah.. don't worry Lily. We just talked about stupid stuff we can't let you hear."

She looked down. I patted her head, she did not react.

T-t'is weird. I'm being weird. I'm not being myself for a while now. I know I couldn't do these stuff, what's going on?

I stopped patting her head.

"Now, I will explain her situation... Her grandmother died, she doesn't want the JamBow team to discontinue her grandmother's account since it is a memory of her. Could you help in giving her a tutorial or something?"

"My condolences," Berry spoke.

"Thank you."

I can't do it, it feels awkward.

"Lily. Can you see a user interface in front of you?"

"No I can't. Nothing."

How do I explain it to her!!

"Say hash slash slash status open."

"Hash slash slash status open," she followed Lexi's instruction. "Something appeared!"

"Now say, hash slash slash inventory open."

"Wait!" They turned their head towards me. "Isn't the inventory on the palms!?"

"What are you talking about? You have to say the command to open the ui."

I stayed silent. Unable to argue with him, I rested my body at the sofa, putting all my weight on it. Leaning backwards over the soft back cushion.

They talked for a long time, teaching her different knowledge. I listened in to them, listing it all inside my mind through silent repeated mutterings. Storing all the important details.

"Have you recorded all of it?" Lexi asked.

"Yes I did."

"You can review it anytime you need."

He is literally a perfect teacher, he should get the education course in college.

"Lexi." Oh shoot! I just realized. I've been calling him by his real name. "Hana. Why don't you just be the tutor? I'm bad at teaching, just be the teacher of him," pointing towards Jan. "And her. All of them!"

"So when you use a sword..." He ignored me.

"I'm logging out Kookies. I'm getting sleepy."

"Bye boss."

"Good night," Berry waved at me.

3.6

"Boss! Ahaha!"

"Hi"

"Boss! Let's eat together! Ahaha!"

"Y-yeah..."

"Boss! I dare you to propose marriage to Kimberly!"

"Huh!? Sorry, I have somewhere to go."

I, ran away from him, circling around the school, taking long detours towards the school garden.

I wanted to try fighting air for training.

I have been training ever since I realized how weak I am, but still, I am weak compared to others.

The most effective strategy is knowing your limits and your opponent's. Like if you know that someone is strong but has low stamina and you have a large stamina, you have to devise a plan to exhaust them first, it might be hard but you have to experiment during the encounter. Let say, he is strong but slow. And if you are fast and can easily dodge. You don't have to move, you can just stay still and dodge until they're exhausted. Or something like that. And then–

While talking to myself, a small figure became visible, it seemed to be sitting on the favorite bench of mine.

Well.. what I read is easier said than done.

After approaching it, the small figure turned out to be a small girl, crying. Tears kept falling down her eyes, sliding through her cheeks before dripping down from her chin. Her P.E. uniform drenched in tears and sweat. She's looking downwards, stiff.

"What's wrong? Why are you crying?" I asked her.

She ignored me. Maybe I'm being too nosy.

I sat down on the opposite side of the bench, relaxing my whole body before looking up the sky.

"You see. This is where I nap. Therefore, I cannot just let somebody crying here.. I just cannot leave a girl crying on my nap bench alone."

"I–" she uttered before closing her mouth again.

I looked towards her. She's trembling, tears no longer flowing down.

"I am..," she inhaled her snot. "T-the boys in my class.. always.. forces me to attend the P.E. class..."

Eh! What?

"Even though I don't want to... I hate them all! Even the teachers are forcing me!! AND THEY SAID I WILL FAIL IF I DON'T ATTEND!!"

Of course you would! Are you an idiot?

"B-but it's required by the school.. do you have some kind of medical condition which makes it hard to do P.E.?"

She stayed silent for a while before speaking, "I guess I do..."

"What is it?"

"I somehow feel very heavy after running 3 meters," she nodded.

Isn't it just your lack of stamina!? Maybe she got some kind of heart problem or something.

"Even my mom tells me to run a kilometer a day. Like what!! WHY!? WHY WOULD YOU LET YOUR DAUGHTER DIE!!"

She keeps screaming.

"...just because I stay in my room all day, people are hostile to me. Say!" She turned towards me, facing me. "Is it really that wrong to do what I love doing!!? Tell me! Hey!!"

"C-calm down a bit..."

"S-sorry for v-venting it out on you," she looked downwards.

"It's not wrong to do what you love but I think all things need some moderation. Like drinking too much water will kill you even though water is essential to be alive."

"I see. Thanks for the advice. I guess I'll try taking a few walks everyday until I can walk to school to save up my money," she giggled. "...I can buy new 3D figures of Liliel! ehe! ehe! ehe!" she uttered in a small voice, giggling.

"Good decision! But.. what is it that you love doing?"

"Computer Games! And Anime!!"

"I see. I also love games but I mostly play V.R., it's also the only one I play."

"Eh.. but isn't it scary? Like you know, you might get stuck in there or something?"

"Now that you said it... but.. I don't know. I just felt nothing, it just feels like another world like this one. Like a dream, you can't move your real body consciously but once you woke up, you can move. Or something like that... hehe..."

"Hmm... But I still love computer games.. and mobile games! Anyway! Thanks for the advice! Have a nice nap!" She walked away, before disappearing, slowly, very slowly.

I laid down my whole body on top of the bench, relaxing all my muscles before looking up at the seemingly eternal blue sky.

Just when did I began changing? Why? This isn't like me, the cold indifferent me, the quiet one who is always alone. Why? It's all her fault, and now she left me with all of these rapid changes all of which I cannot comprehend.

I... no longer know who I am.

Just who... am I?
