Massive, Colossal and maybe even more than thoese words can describe. I couldnt help but be mesmerized by the sheer size of the creature I see before me. It was white in color and has deep yellow eyes. I could see the crimson coloured stains around the head with the distasteful scent of blood. The snake could probably kill me by simply moving around. But yet, it didn't make much movements. It retreated cautiously back outside the hole it made as it looked at me running towards it. Thanks to that, I was able to safely reach the outside.
The first thing I saw was how truly huge the snake was. I felt tiny and insignificant, it reminded me of the times where I just got out of university and decided to start-up my own company. I was so lost and didn't really had anything else other than my bravado. The same applied here. What should I do now?
My legs didn't stop as I kept pushing onward. I immediately made a turn to the right when I left the building, it was the direction that the snakes body wasn't at. The snake gave chase, moving as fast as a car. In my mind, I resigned to my fate, there was no way out for me now. It could easily break through walls, it was fast and it seemed to have ate humans with a passion.
So, this is how I'll go huh?
I stopped, turned around and stared at the snake as my life flashed before my eyes. I was recalling my first time entering school till my last time ever attending classes. The depressing days where I spent lost and aimless, and the happiest moments of my life as a newly-wed. The more I recalled, the more I smiled. I had a really fulfilling life didn't I?
"If you die before me, I'll definetly follow along soon" I recalled saying that to my wife.
"If you do that, I'll ignore you and hate you to death even after we die!" she responded, with her face red from the alcohol.
"You must promise me to live a long, happy and healthy life okay?" she pouted. I could visualize her face clearly, even to this day.
"Hahaha. I'll do my best" I responded.
"You must! Promise me!" she demanded as we both spent a fruitful night together that day.
Why was I recalling such a silly conversation now? I looked towards the snake rushing at me. Its mouth wasn't opened, which was strange if it devoured the humans. And then again, the stench wouldn't be strong if it did! My mind was racing. I only have a few seconds left to live. There was no way for me to dodge the incoming snake, its size was too big for me to make a desperate leap away. It was cautious when I charged at it previously... Maybe it's like thoese who are afraid of insects that try and kill it off?
I glared at the snake in the eyes as it got closer. Surprisingly, it stopped moving. It was looking at me cautiously, trying to see what I would do.

Without hesitation, betting on my chances, I charged at it. I couldn't help but think that it would be hilarious if my assumptions were wrong, but I felt strangely confident in my deduction. I notice the snake flinch, and it turned away as if it was startled. It was only for a moment, but using the chance, I turned back and ran away as fast as I could. My bet paid off and it bought me just a few more seconds, but it was enough for me to get further away. I notice the floor was littered with dead bodies of humans, monsters all squashed into nasty looking bits, crushed bones, organs and red splashes of blood showed the snake's rampage around the area. The blood was still wet, meaning that these people were probably still alive just moments before I came out. Doing my best to run, I could hear the muffled roar of the snake once again. The ringing sound in my head got worse. I could feel the trickle of blood flowing down my ears as the pain slowly got numb. My sense of balance was shaky as I almost fell over for no reason.

"Hahahaha" I found myself smiling and laughing as I dragged myself towards the streets. Making a turn to hide behind the walls of the office, I felt relieved that I managed to run the length of the building before the snake caught up. Now, it needed more time to chase me to where I was. I can't imagine that its easy to drag along its entire body in a chase even if it was fast. Besides, the snake seemed more cowardly than anything.
Panting, I caught my breath. I could feel my muscles aching and the overall exhaustion that I was feeling. I can feel that I was alive. The adrenaline was rushing to my head as I began to run once more towards the street. I could see overturned cars and people running for their lives from monsters. I prayed that Jason had managed to get to the carpark safely. It was hard for me to choose where to go, but I knew that anywhere else would be better than here. The best case scenario would be to get to my house. I had alot of food and water there and it wasn't too far off from the office as well. With a destination in mind, I ran towards the streets.
It was absolute chaos everywhere. The moment I reached the roads, I could see zombies fighting goblins. Orcs and ogres clashing against each other. People were dying all around, I could see them resisting the monsters with kitchen knifes, baseball bats and whatever makeshift weapons they could get their hands on.
I notice a goblin heading straight at me with a spear in its hands. "●●●!!" It shouted some unknown language at me. I could barely stand straight as the ringing sound in my head got louder. It was frustrating. "Shut the fuck up" I shouted back at the goblin, causing myself to feel dizzy and my vision to blur. The goblin flinched, allowing me to use the chance to get close enough for my fist to hit him.

My fist sank into its face, I could feel its teeth shatter under the impact of my fist as the goblin staggered back. I grabbed onto the spear, preventing him from recklessly swinging it at me. It was weak, weaker than an average human. I smashed his face in with my free hand on repeat until he stopped moving. Taking the spear away, I watched as it collapsed onto the ground. Should I stab it? I wondered as I felt hesitant taking a life. I quickly made my decision as I felt the spear penetrate its skin. The blood splashed onto my pants, as I held back my urge to vomit. It looked at me with its final breath before making one final groan.
The lady in white congratulates you on your first kill!

I wobbled, as I carried the spear along with me. My head started to throb in pain, and the world started to spin. I could feel my legs give in as I collapsed onto the ground.
I could see a familiar spider monster crawling towards me. I looked at it closely as it got closer. Behind it, I could see a giant snake curling itself against my office building. It was crazy. To think that such massive beasts could exist...
The spider crept closer as I mustered my remaining strength into my arm. I only had one chance and who knows if I could even get away after this. It seemed to be able to smell the blood, as it first headed towards the goblin's corpse. The corpse was merely a metre or two away from me, so I decided to wait and see who it will approach instead. If it's me, I'll have to take my chances and try to kill it. If it isn't, I can use my strength to get away instead.
The spider approaches, it moved towards me for a moment, before quickly switching and dragging the goblin corpse away. In a way, they were like ants bringing food back to their nests. I breathed a sigh of relieve as I used the spear like a walking stick to stand. The spear seemed to be fairly good, it was as if it was made with some kind of technology behind it. The wooden stick was refined enough to not leave splinters on your hands, and the tip was sharpened finely and seemed to be made out of iron instead of rocks or stone like you'd expect of goblins. With the spear in hand, I slowly walked towards my house. It was a 5 minute drive away and a 20 minute walk. It wasn't anything grand, but it was still located in the luxurious part of town.
The moon was especially bright today. So bright in fact, that it was like an evening sky. People were screaming around, explosions were going off and my ears continued to ring. As I walked across the bridge, the waters below were rumbling as well. Taking a look, I could see a massive figure, larger than any cruise ship swim by. The river itself seemed to barely contain it. I could only think to myself that it really is the end of the world isn't it?
Walking on the bridge, I could feel my body getting weaker with each step I took. My legs finally gave way in the middle, as I laid face down sprawled against the floor. I could see monsters in a distance. Then my vision started to spin. If I closed my eyes here, I was dead. I kept resisting and yet my body refused to move. I recalled the notifications about people with wierd names cheering me on... it was the donation thing that Jason was talking about wasn't it? As my mind wondered on about what it could possibly be, everything turned dark.

Jason POV
I could only watch as boss ran ahead, confident as he always was and telling me to leave him behind. I caught a glimpse of the horror ahead, and it took all I could to take thoese few steps to chase after him. Yet, he simply told me to head back to the lifts. He was the same as ever; confident and fearless. He could even tell that I would hesitate and threw himself into the monsters just so I couldn't follow.
Why am I so fucking weak. I could only curse at myself as I headed back towards the lift. I noticed the lady coming towards me from the left with the rest of the spiders in tow. She was struggling with her steps, wobbling left and right while heading straight towards me. I held the door for as long as I could. The moment she entered the lift, I quickly spammed the button to the basement and watched as the lift doors slowly close. The monsters were simply a few meters away, as I watched one leap right towards us as the lift doors finally closed. My heart pounded loudly as I held my breath. It was a close shave to an unbelivable degree.
I turned back and saw that the lady was breathing deeply. She had long black hair, fair skin and was wearing a white office shirt which is usually complemented by a blazer. Her black skirt was torn right down the middle, probably to make room for her to run. She was barefooted and I could see scratches and debris cutting into her feet. She sat down and panted looking like her legs finally gave way.
"Hey, are you alright?" I called out to her. She looked towards me and nodded her head while catching her breath. Her eyes were sharp and she had the look beffiting a strict and stern secretary. I didn't recognise her, so she probably wasn't anyone who had been working here for long.
After a short while, the elevator sounded off once again with a gentle ding. "Have a nice day" the system speaker played as the lift doors opened. I slowly peeked out and tried to hear for any sounds. It was surprising to see that the electricty was still running. The place was quiet and dimly lit. There was only the rustling sound of our clothes and our heavy breathing as we began to move out of the lift. "This place seems clear" I told her and gestured her that it was safe. From what I could tell, the carpark was completely empty. There weren't many cars in here considering that it was close to night time, and it was just my luck to have sent my car for repairs last week.
Turning back to face her, I could see her awkward steps as she tried to maintain a good posture. Her feet were filled with glass shards and debris, so why is she torturing herself? I could see a trail of velvet liquid from the lift to our current position. I stopped her from moving and squatted down infront of her.
"Get on my back" I instructed her.
"Thank you, but I'm fine" she replied. "You already saved my life... I can't possibly repay you more than that you know?" she carried on.
"I'll prefer if the life we saved kept on living you know?" I told her. Her cuts were serious, there was blood everywhere and it wasn't from the corpses upstairs. Hospitals probably aren't functioning, a bunch of infected wounds would most likely be fatal if we can't find anything to patch her up with. She seemed reluctant at first, but proceeded on to my back eventually.
"Speaking about it, I'd like to formally thank your friend as well! Is he coming to join us soon?" she asked. It wasn't a question filled with malice, but I could only feel guilt well up in me as I gritted my teeth silently.
I kept quiet and walked around to find a usable car. There were cars everywhere but with the technology nowadays, it's hard to find one that doesnt use facial recognition. She seemed to have understood my silence, as she didn't pressure me to answer. The atmosphere continued on for a few minutes as I slowly searched through every car I saw.
"Hey erm... my name's Rachel can I know your name?" she spoke, breaking the silence.
"I'm Jason" I replied.
"Jason from upper management?! You're famous!" she exclaimed, shocked.
"Hahaha..." I could only let out an awkward laugh. Soon after, the same atmosphere cotinued. I looked around for possible cars and one of them came to mind. It was a car that almost everyone in the company knew of.
"So erm... who was your friend?" she spoke again. She seemed like a nice girl, her heart was probably being weighed down by the guilt that she had caused someone to die. It wasn't her fault, but at the same time I couldn't help but think that he would be the one here with me if she never came down. I'm a really horrible person aren't I?
"Well he's... someone you'd definetly heard of" I smiled bitterly as I stared at the car ahead. It was an old model. One that had stopped production about 8 years ago. A keepsake that boss always drove around. I could see the shine on the car as if it was brand new.
"Hey isn't this..." Rachel spoke.
"Yeah" I cut her off.
It was the first car boss and his wife had bought together. It wasn't branded, great or anything special. It was simply the first car that he and his wife shared. I felt my heart scrunch up thinking that the car would have lost both of its owners now. What was worse was that it was the only car that we could drive. Boss probably knew that too
"I guess this is our ride" I said bitterly as I opened the door. The car wasn't locked. It was his way of showing his trust to everyone, and true enough. For all 8 years of its life, the car had never been touched by anyone else.
Rachel got off my back and observed my expression.
"So he was..." the tears welled up in her eyes. I didn't say anything. I remembered sitting in the car before, the 18 year old me who just experienced his first break up was picked up by his boss because he tried to end himself.
How embarassing. Haha... before I knew it, there were tears in my eyes. I didn't face Rachel as I hand gestured her to sit in the car. I sat still for a moment in the drivers seat before wiping away my tears with my sleeves.
"Theres a first aid kit under the left back seat" I told her gently, it reminded me of the time when I was the one sitting in the back seats. I remembered bandaging my own self-inflicted wounds as boss rushed me to the hospital. How dumb was I? Seriously.
There was a sudden glow as she picked up the first aid kit. The entire box disappeared into thin air and she appeared fully healed.
"Wha.... what is this?!" I heard her surprised voice. There was a blue screen that had appeared infront of her.
